Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

When Fang Zheng piloted the Void Glorious Ship to the target location, the city was already in chaos and death.

”Alright, it looks like the situation is as bad as I imagined.”

Seeing the Black and White Bear Legion rampaging and killing civilians on the screen, Fang Zheng raised his eyebrow, while the others, upon seeing this scene, also turned pale.

”I know you’re all very worried and shocked, but save your words for later. Let’s deal with the current situation first.”

Fang Zheng snapped his fingers, and in the next moment, a three-dimensional map of the entire city appeared on the screen, with avatars quickly materializing within it.

”Now, your families have been ’air-dropped’ into this city. It’s simple, it’s a bit like a battle royale. They need to escape the pursuit of those robotic Black and White Bears. Furthermore, each of them is wearing a bracelet, and as soon as they leave this city, the bracelet will immediately activate and ’boom’ explode... I think you understand?”

”What should we do now!”

Hearing this, many people’s faces changed. After all, many of them had relatives there; they hoped to save their loved ones rather than watch them die with open eyes.

”Very simple, I’ll have my cute little dog legion completely lock down the city to prevent your loved ones from leaving the city and triggering the explosion mechanism. Next, I want you to divide into search and support groups. The search group needs to disperse to various areas of the city to find them and rescue them, while the support group will stay here for timely communication and reporting.”

Fang Zheng gave his orders succinctly and then stared at everyone.

”My suggestion is that those without combat ability should not go, to avoid causing trouble. Others can volunteer, and I will provide you with drop points based on the number. As for the Black and White Bear Legion rampaging and killing civilians in the city, leave it to my little dogs to handle.”

”Any problems?”

Hearing this, Makoto Naegi anxiously asked.

”What if those... little dogs mistake civilians as targets? And they look so frightening. What if someone gets scared and attacks them...”

”No problem, they completely obey my commands and won’t act recklessly. As for your unnecessary worries, given your civilization’s rank, even a nuclear bomb wouldn’t harm them, and they might even come out stronger and better... Okay, enough with the nonsense, let’s start signing up!”

Although everyone had a lot to say, considering the urgency of the situation, they decided quickly without further ado.

Among the 78th class, there weren’t many fighters, only the ”Ultimate Martial Artist” Sakura Oogami, the ”Ultimate Murderer” Genocider Syo, the ”Ultimate Discipline Committee Member” Ishimaru Kiyotaka, and the ”Ultimate Biker Gang Leader” Mond Oowada were selected by Fang Zheng.

As for the 77th class, there were quite a few strong fighters. Not to mention those with Hard Light Armor, the ”Ultimate Gamer” Nanami Chiaki, and the ”Ultimate Manager” Neko Maru II, who was as burly as Sakura Oogami, as well as Akane Nuri who, despite the title of ”Ultimate Gymnast,” looked like a beast.

In addition, the ”Ultimate Gang Leader” Kutorou Fuyuhiko and his subordinate, the ”Ultimate Kendoka” Heiko Endaya, joined in as well.

Finally, Fang Zheng decided to group the 78th class, with Sakura Oogami and Genocider Syo forming a team, and Ishimaru Kiyotaka and Mond Oowada forming another, while in the 77th class, Neko Maru II and Akane Nuri formed one team, Kutorou Fuyuhiko and Heiko Endaya another, and he and Nanami Chiaki joined the rescue operation each as individual teams.

Meanwhile, Kirigiri Kyoko, Celestia, and Togami Byakuya were in the rear, primarily responsible for monitoring and reporting the movements and conditions of the entire battlefield — their abilities and intelligence were quite adequate for this role.

As for the ”Ultimate Programmer” Chihiro Fujisaki and the ”Ultimate Health Committee Member” Mikan Tsumiki, they were assigned to logistics work.

Since this world’s program had infiltrated chaos, Fang Zheng’s personal terminal couldn’t parse it, much like that large door, he needed the people of this world to handle it. So, once someone was found, Chihiro Fujisaki would be teleported immediately to decipher the bracelet and try to unlock it.

If anyone got injured, it would be the ”Ultimate Health Committee Member’s” time to step in.

As for the others, Fang Zheng wanted them to help gather the ordinary citizens being attacked by the Black and White Bears — since these people’s combat abilities were quite low, they could only handle these logistical tasks.

To be safe, Fang Zheng also gave each of them a portable personal terminal for contact and communication. Then quickly, with a flash of radiance — the next moment, Fang Zheng left his warship and appeared on the street.

Absolute Despair Girl ah...

Looking at the damaged street and the corpses spread across, Fang Zheng frowned and remained silent.

Frankly speaking, this act was the most brutal among the Danganronpa series Fang Zheng had played. Although the first and second series of Danganronpa were also cruel, the brutality in Absolute Despair Girl took it to another level. Because in this game, the background is a conflict between children and adults.

That’s right, in Absolute Despair Girl, several ”bear kids” brainwashed by Enoshima Junko used some technical means to control all the children and began a brutal slaughter on the adults. In their eyes, all adults were ”Demon Creatures” to be killed and eliminated. Those parents with children were almost executed and killed first, and under this pressure, the surviving adults finally decided to unite to kill the group of children.

In a sense, it’s much more brutal than simple school mutual slaughter.

For the five bear kids who were the instigators, Fang Zheng did not feel much sympathy, but that did not prevent him from taking action against them. Fang Zheng would never learn from those fools in Hollywood; in his view, wrongdoings should be punished. Although these five bear kids had pitiful and tragic backgrounds... what does that have to do with him?

They destroyed this city, killed countless people, and left many families in ruins. Do you think a mere ”they’re also pitiful” will suffice?

For dealing with such persons, Fang Zheng wouldn’t hesitate to kill them directly.

Just like that girl in Jurassic Park who let dinosaurs onto the streets to attack humans out of sympathy, if Fang Zheng encountered her, he would definitely shoot her dead with a bullet to the head.

What? Hollywood movies forbid killing children?

What does that have to do with me?

Fang Zheng had already given orders to his little dogs; once they found Ta and their Despair Allies, they should consume them, leaving not even the corpses.

He wouldn’t spare them because they were children, cute, and had pitiful backgrounds.

Given their current crimes, dying ten times would be considered lenient for them.

As for Blade Wraith, Fang Zheng didn’t let her go but planned to handle her alongside Enoshima Junko once she was captured. By then, he wanted to see how Makoto Naegi, the protagonist, would ”persuade” him to spare Blade Wraith’s life.

Well, let’s sort out the current situation first.

Fang Zheng glanced around; although he had opened the Dimensional Passage to summon the Swarm, currently, since Fang Zheng didn’t want to establish a Zerg Base on this planet, he could only teleport troops in. And the Black and White Bears they killed were robots, with very limited recyclable energy... For now, Fang Zheng had teleported a million Jumping Bugs to completely encircle and lock down the city, then begin offensively sweeping each area to eradicate the Black and White Bears and rescue the survivors.

But this would still take some time.

Thinking of this, Fang Zheng activated his personal terminal.

”This is Fang Zheng, I’ve arrived at the designated location, all teams report.”

”This is Nanami, I’ve reached the target location, president.”

”We’re here too.”

”Us too...”

The other groups quickly responded as well, and Fang Zheng nodded in satisfaction.

”Very well, let’s begin the mission. Remember, our task is to find the target and protect them. Each group is responsible for a specific area. After locating the target, bring them to the gym we discussed earlier and await further instructions.”

Fang Zheng quickly issued his orders, and the others acknowledged. He then closed his personal terminal and looked at the towering building in front of him.

Alright, let’s move.

Initially, Fang Zheng planned to locate Naegi’s sister as soon as possible and rescue her.

However......

”Where is she?”

Standing in the corridor engulfed in flames, staring at the empty room before him, Fang Zheng was taken aback. If he remembered correctly, Makoto Naegi’s sister should have been held in this room, almost killed by a Black and White Bear, and then rescued by Togami Byakuya.

But given the current situation being different from the game, who saved her in Togami Byakuya’s absence?

This question wasn’t too difficult for Fang Zheng to solve. Standing at the doorway, he focused on the room, and soon the world in Fang Zheng’s eyes began to twist and rewind.

The next moment, everything reverted to its original state.

At first, it was just like Fang Zheng remembered. Makoto Naegi’s sister was trapped here, and not long after breakfast, she was attacked by a Black and White Bear robot and narrowly escaped death. Afterward, she fled the room in terror, trying to evade the eerie robot and then......

Fang Zheng ”watched” as the girl screamed and dashed out the door, and amidst the roaring flames, she reached the elevator, frantically pounding on it. Meanwhile, a Black and White Bear lunged, swinging its spikes at her. Following that......

”Thud!”

Suddenly, the Black and White Bear robot shuddered violently before collapsing heavily to the ground, motionless. Only then did Fang Zheng notice a girl standing behind it.

Who is she?

Looking at the girl, Fang Zheng frowned. She was a beautiful girl with golden hair flowing over her shoulders, wearing a white shirt and a pink sweater, with a black and red plaid skirt below, carrying a backpack, and a music note hairpin clipped in her hair.

The golden-haired girl was clutching a shot put ball, gasping for breath—it seemed this was the object she used to knock down the Black and White Bear robot.

”Are you alright?”

The golden-haired girl asked Naegi’s sister, who nodded despite still being in shock.

”I-I’m okay!”

”Quick, we need to get out of here!”

The golden-haired girl dropped the shot put ball, grabbed Naegi’s sister’s hand, and the two hurriedly dashed out through the escape route next to the elevator.

Who is that girl?

Retracting his gaze, Fang Zheng looked ahead once more. Before him lay the corridor, completely engulfed in flames, with a shot put ball dropped by his feet and the Black and White Bear robot smashed with a hole not far away. Fang Zheng picked up the ball and scrutinized it, assuring himself he had never seen this character in the game. After all, he played through the Danganronpa trilogy and remembered it clearly. If she appeared in ”Absolute Despair Girl,” Fang Zheng wouldn’t forget.

Originally, saving Naegi’s sister should have been Togami Byakuya and Toko Fukawa’s task, but the former was on the spaceship, and the latter teleported to another area...... hmmm......

”Rumble...”

While Fang Zheng contemplated, suddenly the entire floor began to shake. The next moment, accompanied by raging flames, the entire building collapsed.

”Mr. Fang Zheng!!”

Upon seeing the burning, collapsing building on the screen, Sayaka Maizono screamed. Others, hearing this, hurried to the screen.

”What happened? What’s going on?”

”The building Mr. Fang Zheng entered just collapsed!”

”What?!”

Makoto Naegi felt a chill run down his spine and rushed to the screen to see the collapsed building, anxiety flooding his mind. Makoto originally wanted to accompany Fang Zheng to search for his sister, but Fang Zheng refused. Yet now...... the building collapsed; could anyone inside be alright?

”Hey, what do we do?”

”Could he be in trouble...... should we call...?”

”Boom!”

However, before the crew reached a conclusion, they witnessed the rubble burst open, and Fang Zheng emerged unscathed. He patted the burning debris off himself and reopened his personal comms.

”Mr. Fang Zheng, are you alright?”

Seeing him emerge, Sayaka Maizono quickly asked, to which Fang Zheng nodded.

”I’m fine, and the target has been rescued.”

”Rescued?”

Makoto Naegi was taken aback by this.

”Who did it?”

”It seems to be another person imprisoned here. Anyway, they’ve escaped the building. I’ll continue tracking them and will contact you with any findings.”

With that, Fang Zheng closed his personal terminal, brushed off the dust on him, and continued deeper into the street.

”.........”

Watching Fang Zheng leave like nothing happened, everyone on the spaceship fell into silence. After a long while, the Afro-headed Diviner finally spoke.

”I wonder...... is he really human?”
