Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

On the third day after Fang Zheng enjoyed the People of Qi’s blessing, the originally closed second floor of the school also opened up, revealing new facilities like a library, swimming pool, and gym.

On the first day after the second floor was opened, everyone first explored the library. After all, the library’s role is to store information, and as the library of the Academy of Hope Peak, it should contain clues as well.

Of course, the most valuable thing in the library would undoubtedly be that laptop, but unfortunately...

”It won’t turn on, probably broken.”

After repeatedly pressing the power button with no response, Togami Byakuya furrowed his brow and shook his head slightly. Fang Zheng walked over, glanced at the laptop in front of him, and shrugged his shoulders.

”Then we just need to return it to the time before it broke.”

As he spoke, Fang Zheng stretched out his hand and snapped his fingers at the laptop. Quickly, a radiance appeared, and in a moment, all the traces of damage left by time on the laptop’s casing disappeared. Fang Zheng then reached out and pressed the power button again, and soon, the previously pitch-black screen lit up.

”Quite an interesting trick.”

Seeing this, Togami Byakuya sneered and looked at Fang Zheng.

”I’m curious, with such an ability, why don’t you bring Yamada Hifumi back to life?”

”Because the dead can’t be resurrected.”

Fang Zheng raised an eyebrow and answered.

”Is that so? I have a feeling you just don’t want to revive him.”

”Believe it or not, it’s none of my business.”

Fang Zheng snorted coldly at Togami Byakuya’s words.

”Don’t think just because you’re some big shot, everyone owes you an explanation. Whether it’s you or the Togami Family, to me, you’re as insignificant as ants.”

”You dare to insult the Togami Clan?”

Upon hearing this, Togami Byakuya’s expression turned icy cold, while Fang Zheng cast him a disdainful glance.

”So what? What can you do to me? A mere mortal. You’d better have some self-awareness.”

”Very well......”

In response to Fang Zheng’s answer, Togami Byakuya angrily laughed.

”I will make you realize the cost of insulting the Togami Family!”

”That remains to be seen if you have the ability, foolish mortal. Whether your Togami Family is finished or standing here, to me, you’re no different from a stone. I advise you to figure out your own capabilities; making a fool of yourself is another matter.”

Without a change in expression, Fang Zheng faced Togami Byakuya. For a moment, the atmosphere between the two became perilously tense.

”Alright, alright, stop arguing.”

Just as Fang Zheng was considering whether to release Dragon Might to teach Togami Byakuya a lesson, Makoto Naegi suddenly intervened.

”Aren’t we all companions? We should work together at this time......”

”......Hmph.”

Gazing at Makoto Naegi, Togami Byakuya’s expression changed a few times, then he withdrew his gaze, snorting and saying nothing. Meanwhile, Fang Zheng didn’t even glance at Togami Byakuya, directly picking up the laptop and turning to the crossdresser Chihiro Fujisaki, who was trembling with fear nearby.

”Fujisaki-kun.”

”Ah, yes, Mr. Fang Zheng, may I help you?”

”I’m trusting you with this laptop. It should be easier for you to work with this. Ideally, you could hack into the Black and White Bear’s network and see what that guy is up to.”

”Alright, no problem, please leave it to me.”

On the mention of his area of expertise, the previously hesitant Chihiro immediately transformed, becoming full of confidence and giving an assured reply. Previously, he was limited due to lack of tools, but now with a laptop at his disposal, it’s like a warrior equipped with a weapon, finally able to utilize his ”Ultimate Programmer” abilities.

”Keep at it, I believe you can do it.”

Looking at Chihiro, Fang Zheng smiled. Putting the jokes aside, he was quite skilled in extracting work from programmers. Although the skinny and frail-looking Chihiro Fujisaki appeared no different from a girl—and even wore a girl’s uniform—for a former strategist like Fang Zheng, gender was unimportant. As long as you were a programmer and fell into his hands, then you’d be... hehehehe...

”......”

Hugging the laptop to his chest, Chihiro Fujisaki shivered for no reason, suddenly feeling an ominous chill down his spine, as if he had just fallen into the Abyss’s maw...

And just like that, the first day of searching ended, and in the evening, Fang Zheng returned to his room with Celestia and Sayaka Maizono to discuss their next strategy.

”Naegi’s side still hasn’t made any progress.”

Watching the screen where Makoto Naegi was delivering dinner to the Blade Wraith hiding in her room, Fang Zheng frowned, while Celestia and Sayaka Maizono watched his screen with interest. Fang Zheng had, of course, informed them about the relationship between Blade Wraith and Makoto Naegi, and asked them to keep it a secret. This was why these two were here watching the ”live broadcast” with Fang Zheng.

”If it were a TV series, there should be some crisis pushing their relationship closer right about now.”

As the ”Ultimate Idol,” Sayaka Maizono quickly gave her opinion—after all, shooting TV series was her specialty.

”In my view, she is still lost.”

As the ”Ultimate Gambler,” Celestia didn’t have Shihou Souki’s Mental Grasp ability, but her knack for observing human psychology was first-class. Otherwise, she couldn’t have been undefeated at the gambling table.

”Mr. Fang Zheng once suggested she might be manipulated, and Blade Wraith also realized this. So she can’t return to Enoshima Junko’s side, but can’t betray her either. I don’t know the exact relationship between Blade Wraith and Enoshima Junko, but for now... if Naegi can make a stronger effort, there might be a breakthrough.”

At this, Celestia sipped her red tea.

”Personally, I’d rather Blade Wraith directly confront Enoshima Junko, letting us directly confront the mastermind, avoiding all this fuss.”

”Indeed, I feel the same.”

Fang Zheng’s thoughts aligned with Celestia’s; if Blade Wraith confronted Enoshima Junko, he could eliminate her on the spot, avoiding further complications. Given what we know now, following the plot seems unlikely. Especially knowing Fang Zheng’s abilities, even if Black and White Bear offered motives, it’s doubtful anyone would kill.

If there was a chance of being ”possibly caught,” maybe someone might take the risk.

But if they would ”certainly be caught,” crime loses its value.

However... there’s still some chance.

Watching the image of Makoto Naegi awkwardly chatting with Blade Wraith, Fang Zheng pondered and his lips curved slightly.

It’s up to Makoto Naegi to seize the opportunity.

Sure enough, the next day, Black and White Bear stirred up more trouble, announcing it would provide a motive for everyone to commit murder—their embarrassing secrets!

If you don’t want your secrets exposed, then go commit murder!!

In the past, everyone might have been suspicious and fearful, but this time, after watching Black and White Bear’s announcement on screen, and looking at the letter with their ”embarrassing secrets,” then glancing at Fang Zheng standing behind them...

Do they even have a choice?

”I, I think... might as well just expose it here...”

Aoi Asahina, feeling quite exasperated, suggested, and everyone nodded in agreement. With Fang Zheng present, they couldn’t really resort to murder to protect their secrets. After all, even if they killed someone, Fang Zheng could just reverse time, rendering the act useless.

Furthermore, compared to leaving it to the unreliable Black and White Bear, explaining it themselves at least gives them a chance to clarify!

After all, if Black and White Bear said it, who knows what it would turn into.

”...Fine.”

The others only pondered for a moment regarding Aoi Asahina’s suggestion, then nodded, but at this moment, someone raised a different opinion.

”Wait, I have a problem with this!”

”Oowada?”

Looking at the biker gang in front of them, everyone was momentarily stunned.

”What’s your issue?”

”It’s about that guy, that guy.”

While speaking, the biker gang pointed at Fang Zheng.

”Black and White Bear only holds our secrets but not his. Isn’t that a loss for us? It’s unfair. I demand he reveal his secret too!”

”Oh?”

Upon hearing this, Fang Zheng looked up at the crowd, and everyone looked at him. Bearing their gaze, Fang Zheng pondered for a moment and nodded.

”Alright then, I’ll start with mine.”

”Don’t just make something up to fool us.”

”Don’t worry.”

Fang Zheng showed a meaningful smile at the biker gang’s words.

”I assure you, this secret is not something I made up; there is a witness who can prove it.”

”...A witness?”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s answer, they were somewhat puzzled, exchanging glances. Isn’t this supposed to be a secret that you’re shy about or don’t want others to know? Why would there be a witness?

But what secret was Fang Zheng going to reveal?

Looking around at the crowd, Fang Zheng chuckled softly.

”My secret...is simple. I am currently in a relationship with both Celestia and Sayaka Maizono.”

”...What?”

”What, what, what!?”

Hearing this, everyone was stunned for a while and then screamed like a volcano erupting. Meanwhile, Celestia came out with a smile, holding her letter to show everyone.

”Yes, my secret is also this: I am currently dating Mr. Fang Zheng.”

”Well...me too...”

Compared to the calm Celestia, Sayaka Maizono seemed very embarrassed, her face almost completely red as she lowered her head, holding up her letter with the same information as Celestia’s.

”This...this really is an embarrassing secret...”

Looking at Sayaka Maizono and Celestia standing by Fang Zheng, even the straightforward sporty girl Aoi Asahina blushed. Indeed, if it was just dating one of the girls, it would be a secret but not necessarily embarrassing. But both girls dating one man...ugh...Aoi Asahina felt her face red like a monkey’s bottom.

”Alright, you see, I wasn’t lying, there are witnesses and evidence, right?”

Fang Zheng didn’t seem to mind at all, just shrugged and looked at the others.

”Now it’s your turn.”

With Fang Zheng’s explosive self-detonation, everyone else suddenly felt their secrets didn’t seem like a big deal anymore, so they began to speak up.

For example, Makoto Naegi still wet the bed until fifth grade in elementary school—such news everyone just laughed off.

And Toko Fukawa’s other personality is the famous massacre maniac Genocider Syo—everyone said we knew that already.

Of course, the more shocking secret came when Chihiro Fujisaki confessed to everyone that he is male—this surprised everyone except Fang Zheng, especially shocking the male group. Originally, Celestia and Sayaka Maizono were taken by Fang Zheng, leaving them sad, and now they only had Little Angel Fujisaki to cherish.

The result...Chihiro Fujisaki turned out to be such a pretty male that it was impossible to be a girl!

Some people instantly felt they could never love again.

Fake, this world is all fake!

Everyone went around, and finally it was the biker gang Oowada’s turn. Under everyone’s gaze, Oowada hesitated for a while and finally revealed his secret.

”I...I killed my big brother!!!”

”...What?”

Everyone was shocked hearing Oowada’s confession. And since it was said out loud, Oowada went on to explain the ins and outs of the matter—originally he organized a biker gang with another person. At that time, Oowada was only second, and his brother was the leader. During a turf war race with another biker gang, Oowada drove dangerously to win the race. He was almost hit by the car, but at the last moment, Oowada’s brother stepped in and saved Oowada, but was hit himself.

Before dying, his brother entrusted the biker gang to Oowada, so after that, Oowada worked hard and eventually unified Japan’s biker gangs, becoming the ”Ultimate Biker Gang Leader,” but in his heart, he always believed he was the one who killed his brother.

That’s Oowada’s secret.

”Lift your head, Oowada.”

As the biker gang Oowada knelt on the ground weeping, Fang Zheng spoke to him.

”It’s unbecoming, your brother saved you, is just to see you blame yourself like this for a lifetime? His death would be in vain?”

”Yes, Oowada, your brother saved you, not to see you in such pain!”

Makoto Naegi stood up and continued, and others nodded in agreement. Under the comfort of others, the biker gang Oowada finally pulled himself together, wiped his tears, and stood up.

”No, my brother’s death wasn’t in vain, I swear I’ll live on, with my brother’s share together!”

”Now that’s a man.”

At this point, Sakura Oogami silently nodded.

Thus, a crisis resolved itself without anyone knowing, and everyone dispersed. However, at this moment, Fang Zheng grabbed Celestia.

”Celestia, go find Kirigiri Kyoko, tell her to inform Makoto Naegi that there’s a hidden door in the innermost stall of the men’s restroom.”

”What?”

Hearing this, Celestia was stunned for a moment.

”Why don’t we go ourselves?”

”If we go, it would alert them.”

Facing Celestia’s question, Fang Zheng slightly smiled.

”Don’t worry, with this round of calculations, we will surely win.”
