Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Aki Tomoya returned home, still looking dazed and confused.

He couldn’t understand why things turned out this way. He was clearly trying to protect Michiru, yet ended up getting hit by her. Did he do something wrong?

No, I didn’t do anything wrong!

Thinking of this, Aki Tomoya clenched his fists, and his eyes gradually became clear.

I am right. Although Michiru might not understand, I still need to protect her. After everyone else abandoned me, only Michiru stayed by my side. I must repay her kindness! I will do whatever it takes to protect Michiru and will never let that bastard lay a hand on her!

When Michiru comes back, he must have another talk with her. Aki Tomoya is confident he can still convince Michiru.

Aki Tomoya made up his mind, stayed at home, and waited for Michiru to return.

However......

Time slowly passed, and the pitch-black night began to set in, yet Michiru still hadn’t returned. He initially thought she had gone with others to the celebration party, but when the clock struck twelve, Michiru still hadn’t shown up. At this point, Aki Tomoya finally grew restless; he picked up his phone and dialed Michiru’s number. However, no one answered.

So Aki Tomoya called the other three from Michiru’s group, only to be told that Michiru had left after the exhibition ended, not even attending the celebration party......

Aki Tomoya called Michiru again, but still, there was no answer. Even so, he didn’t give up and kept calling persistently. Finally, after an unknown amount of time, the call was answered, and Michiru’s slightly weary voice came through from the other side.

”Hello, Tomoya......?”

”Michiru, where did you go? Why aren’t you coming home?”

Hearing Michiru’s voice, Aki Tomoya suddenly breathed a sigh of relief but quickly asked urgently.

”I have something to do, I won’t be coming back today......”

”Then where did you go? I just called Koshi and the others, and they said you left after the exhibition! Where on earth did you go?”

”I......ugh...!”

Faced with Aki Tomoya’s questions, Michiru seemed a bit troubled. She opened her mouth to say something but then let out a muffled groan.

”What’s wrong? Michiru? Are you okay!”

Upon hearing this, Aki Tomoya’s heart tightened; however, Michiru didn’t respond. Instead, Aki Tomoya heard her seemingly covering the phone, whispering something.

”......No......not now...”

”Michiru?!”

”Sorry, Tomoya, it’s nothing, I need to rest now......ugh......goodnight......”

”Wait, Michiru, Michiru?!”

He wanted to say more, but she had already hung up. Aki Tomoya called again, but there was no answer. But even so, he didn’t give up. Just as his futile attempts continued, suddenly Aki Tomoya’s phone received a video call request from Michiru Hyodo.

Video call?

Though a bit puzzled, Aki Tomoya didn’t hesitate to click agree. Immediately, the phone screen flipped, and Michiru’s face once again appeared in front of Aki Tomoya.

But now, Michiru wasn’t the one Aki Tomoya imagined.

”No......no......I can’t take it......!”

The purple-haired girl reached out, hugging a white pillow tightly, burying her head in it. Through the small screen, Aki Tomoya could barely see Michiru’s head and half her body. At this moment she was lying on the bed, even her behind and curves were visible.

However, the expression Michiru showed now was one Aki Tomoya had never seen before.

The Michiru he was familiar with was bright, generous, and lively; she always had a radiant smile as if carefree. But now, on her face was a seductive look Aki Tomoya had never seen; she bit her lips tightly, letting out deep, intermittent, whimpering and panting; her half-closed eyes showing a captivating expression.

”Ah......ah ah ah......!!”

Suddenly, under Aki Tomoya’s gaze, Michiru on the screen started shaking her head frantically. But it didn’t seem like resistance, rather like actively complying. She hugged the pillow tightly, raised herself, and after a while, finally exhaled a breath, collapsing on the bed like a rag.

A moment later, a man appeared on the screen, but due to being too close to the camera, Aki Tomoya could only see the man’s chin. Then Michiru stretched out her arms, wrapping them around the man’s neck, and at the same time, her arm seemed to hit the phone. The screen turned, facing the ceiling.

Only broken conversation continued to be heard.

”Ugh......hmm......didn’t expect it to be so good......”

”Of course, never underestimate my skill, but your physical strength is impressive......”

”Hehehe, I’ve trained before at least, can we go again?”

”Certainly.”

The broken conversation quickly became indistinct, while Aki Tomoya gripped his phone tightly, staring at the screen with wide eyes, yelling furiously.

”Michiru! Michiru! Who are you with? Answer me! Michiru!!”

Yet his voice didn’t reach the other side, and soon the screen went pitch black as the connection was cut off.

”How could this happen, how could it......!”

Aki Tomoya hurriedly dialed the phone again, but this time he heard the prompt, ”The number you dialed is switched off, please try again later.”

Nonetheless, he didn’t stop and continued to call, finally after several attempts when he couldn’t reach her, Aki Tomoya rushed out of the house, running toward the street.

Michiru! Where are you? I have to save you! Michiru!

At this moment, Aki Tomoya didn’t even know what he was thinking, he just held his phone, wandering aimlessly down the street. He felt like he was sleepwalking, not understanding where he was or what he was doing, he just stumbled and walked, trying to find Michiru.

After walking for who knows how long, Aki Tomoya finally saw a figure resembling Michiru, a young girl was walking and chatting cheerfully with a man. Upon seeing this scene, Aki Tomoya rushed over and grabbed the girl’s hand.

”Michiru! I found you, come home with me!”

”Who are you?!”

Faced with the sudden appearance of Aki Tomoya, the girl was startled, and the man beside her stared fiercely at Aki Tomoya.

”Who are you, punk, trying to do something to my girlfriend?!”

”She’s not your girlfriend, she’s Michiru, Michiru!”

As he spoke, Aki Tomoya desperately tried to pull the girl away, but the next moment, the man punched him in the face.

”Let go of your filthy hand from my girl, dare to touch my girlfriend, you’re out of your mind, punk!”

Knocked to the ground by the man’s punch, Aki Tomoya stared blankly upward at the thug, then after a moment yelled, charging straight at the thug.

”Don’t touch her, don’t you touch her! Get away! Get away, ahhhhh!!”

Shouting, Aki Tomoya fiercely hugged the man, simultaneously shouting to the girl beside him.

”Run, Michiru, I’ll protect you! Run!!”

”......”

Hearing Aki Tomoya’s cry, the girl’s face turned pale and she immediately turned and ran away. Watching her retreating figure, Aki Tomoya let out a satisfied smile.

”Let go of me, you bastard!”

”I won’t let you go under any circumstance!!”

The man, tightly held by Aki Tomoya, struggled to break free, but Aki Tomoya stubbornly clung to him, refusing to release his hold.

Michiru, don’t worry, even if I risk my life, I will protect you!

Just as Aki Tomoya thought this, he was shocked to see ”Michiru” return, with two police officers following. ”Michiru” ran over and pointed towards Aki Tomoya.

”Officer, this lunatic suddenly rushed over and tried to take me away, he attacked my boyfriend!”

”Michiru?”

Hearing this, Aki Tomoya’s expression froze, he stared blankly at her, completely unable to comprehend why she said that, I was protecting you, I risked my life to protect you!

And you, you’ve betrayed me!

You betrayed me!!

”Ahhhhhhh!!”

In that instant, Aki Tomoya could no longer endure it, screaming loudly, he lunged towards the girl, but in the next moment, he was pinned to the ground by the two police officers.

”Stay put, you!”

”I am arresting you as a current offender for assault!”

”Let go of me! Let go of me! I did nothing wrong!!”

Even pressed to the ground by the police, Aki Tomoya desperately struggled, trying to break free of their hold. Watching his crazed appearance, the girl hurriedly shrank into her boyfriend’s embrace, and the two quickly turned and left. Watching their departing backs, all Aki Tomoya felt was his heart about to shatter.

”Why! Why would you do this! Why!! Let go of me, I did nothing wrong! I was saving you! Michiru! Michiru--------!!”

”Boom!!!”

At that moment, an ear-splitting thunderclap sounded, and then torrential rain poured down, completely drowning out Aki Tomoya’s cries in the sound of the rain...
