Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

When Sakuramitsu Shinmei returned to Fang Zheng, she was already satisfied.

”How about it? Didn’t I do well today? Shuu is no longer so resistant to me.”

At this point, Sakuramitsu Shinmei couldn’t help but get excited. Today, according to Fang Zheng’s instructions, she simply listened to Sakuramitsu Shuu’s complaints and venting, gently stroked his hair, and accompanied him to calm down. Only before leaving, Sakuramitsu Shinmei gave her brother a light kiss.

This made Sakuramitsu Shinmei feel extremely thrilled, although she had done this to Sakuramitsu Shuu before, but back then she could feel that her brother actually didn’t like her doing so, even somewhat resistant. But this time, Sakuramitsu Shuu not only didn’t resist, he seemed to be completely indulged in her.

Originally, Sakuramitsu Shinmei wanted to take a step further, but she still followed Fang Zheng’s order and retreated in time.

”It’s a good thing; if you’d been a second later, I would have pulled you back directly.”

Fang Zheng coldly glanced at Sakuramitsu Shinmei.

”I’ve told you how many times, be reserved, don’t you understand what it means to be reserved? Look at yourself just now, you were like a female monkey in estrus, eager to mate!”

”But Shuu obviously doesn’t hate it!”

Upon hearing this, Shinmei immediately became unwilling.

”Nonsense, that’s why I allow you to reach this point. If you dare to go further, do you believe he will definitely be scared out of his wits.”

”Eh...? Is that so?”

”Exactly, your brother, to put it bluntly, is a virgin with the heart of a thief but lacks the courage. A mere kiss is already at his limit. If you dare to take off his pants directly, he will definitely run away scared! Don’t fool me, I know you really wanted to do that just now!”

”........Tch.”

Upon hearing this, Sakuramitsu Shinmei couldn’t help but smack her lips. Just like Fang Zheng said, she indeed had thoughts of going further back then. It was one thing that Sakuramitsu Shuu was a virgin; it would be fine if that couldn’t be seen, but Fang Zheng, being battle-hardened, knew from the look in Sakuramitsu Shinmei’s eyes that she was about to mess things up — fortunately she was at least somewhat rational and managed to control herself.

”Flirting requires skill and sophistication. Don’t think that just having love is enough... marital life is one aspect of emotional adjustment, hold on a second...”

While speaking, Fang Zheng rummaged through his personal space and then pulled out several manga, placing them in front of Sakuramitsu Shinmei.

”What’s this?”

”Doujinshi for the sibling genre, take a good look at the manga, learn how the elder sister gently guides the younger brother, don’t always think that just because the feelings are there, anything can be done. Your actions just now, if taken further, would not be a sibling genre plot but rather become Shibuya’s must-see hardcore genre!”

”........I feel like you’re not saying nice things...”

Sakuramitsu Shinmei complained and then curled up to the side to read the manga. Now, Sakuramitsu Shinmei isn’t as extreme as she was initially, or rather, she actually quite enjoys this way of interacting with Fang Zheng. It’s not that Sakuramitsu Shinmei has romantic feelings towards Fang Zheng, but if strictly speaking, Fang Zheng should be considered Sakuramitsu Shinmei’s first friend in this world.

After all, before ”Lost Christmas”, Sakuramitsu Shinmei didn’t have friends, and Yangg Shenyai, rather than being a friend, was more like a subordinate and plaything. What’s more, Yangg Shenyai didn’t support Sakuramitsu Shinmei’s feelings for Sakuramitsu Shuu, so exploring romance experiences and sharing strategies with others like this is a completely new experience for Sakuramitsu Shinmei.

Not to mention, Fang Zheng’s guidance is very helpful with remarkable results... this is much better than Sakuramitsu Shinmei pondering bitterly then hitting the wall.

It is precisely because of this, now Sakuramitsu Shinmei is increasingly indifferent to the so-called Divine Sense. Initially, she agreed to cooperate with Divine Sense because they promised her and Sakuramitsu Shuu could always be together, with Shuu as King and her leading the new world as Queen.

But Sakuramitsu Shinmei is not a fool, she knows that forced fruits are not sweet, yet at the time, she had no other choice but to force it.

Now that there’s another option, of course Sakuramitsu Shinmei feels that the Overlord’s plan is less and less reliable...

While Sakuramitsu Shinmei began learning experience through doujinshi and games, Sakuramitsu Shuu also returned to class fully satisfied. At this moment, he was completely free of the previous low pressure, replaced by a strange sense of relief.

”Was that... not a dream...?”

Recalling everything that happened earlier, Sakuramitsu Shuu couldn’t help but reach out, touching his lips. He clearly remembered being called by that girl to his usual secret base. There, Sakuramitsu Shuu shared everything with the girl — his anger, his confusion, and his anxiety.

He didn’t even know why he spoke to that girl about it, according to Sakuramitsu Shuu’s memory, he should never have met her before, but for some reason, Sakuramitsu Shuu always felt that girl seemed very familiar, as if they were very close...

Before that girl left, Sakuramitsu Shuu also felt her kiss, and when he opened his eyes, he found the girl had disappeared.

Was that a dream? Or reality?

Who is that girl?

For a moment, Sakuramitsu Shuu seemed to remember her name... but soon forgot again...

”Oh, Shuu!”

Seeing Shuu back in class, Kyojo Matsuri hurriedly ran to him.

”Are you okay? Well... eh?”

Looking at Shuu now, even Kyojo Matsuri was quite surprised; she remembered how gloomy Sakuramitsu Shuu looked just now, but now all his troubles seemed to have disappeared... What’s going on?

”I’m fine, Matsuri.”

Looking at Kyojo Matsuri, Sakuramitsu Shuu also smiled, but at this moment, suddenly, there was a commotion in the class.

”Hey, big news!”

”Something happened! Watch the news, terrorists attacked GHQ!”

”What?”

Hearing this, Sakuramitsu Shuu was also shocked, then walked over to look at the TV, only to see the host on the screen solemnly broadcasting the news.

”Now broadcasting breaking news. Just 10 minutes ago, members of the funeral society suddenly launched an attack on the gene pharmaceutical research institute subsidiary of GHQ. They have taken personnel inside the research institute as hostages, demanding GHQ hand over the murderer who killed Yangg Shenyai, leader of the funeral society. If GHQ fails to comply with their demand, they will kill one hostage every ten minutes until GHQ agrees to hand over the culprit.”

”What a joke!”

Seeing this, Sakuramitsu Shuu’s face turned iron blue, and Kyojo Matsuri’s expression also changed drastically.

”Shuu, isn’t that where your mother works?”

”Damn it!!”

At this moment, Sakuramitsu Shuu hurriedly picked up his phone, dialing his mother Sakuramitsu Chunka’s number, but he couldn’t reach her. So he gritted his teeth and ran out of the classroom.

”Wait, Shuu, where are you going?!”

Seeing Sakuramitsu Shuu rush out of the classroom, Kyojo Matsuri also hurriedly followed, but by then, Sakuramitsu Shuu had disappeared.

Meanwhile, back in the school building, also a member of the funeral society, Sakomiyu Ayase watched the Quadrant on the screen with a serious expression.

”What’s going on? Why did they go to take hostages?!”

”I just got the news too.”

The expression of the Quadrant at that moment was also helpless.

”You should know, Ayase, that after Yangg Shenyai’s death, there’s been a group within the Funeral Society clamoring for revenge for him... Although I don’t want to say it, the whole Funeral Society was established on the basis of Yangg Shenyai, and now that he’s dead, you could say the Funeral Society is falling apart...”

”.........”

Upon hearing this, Sakomiyu Ayase also gritted her teeth.

”But, but what they are doing...”

”They probably don’t care about that anymore. For them, finding the killer of Yangg Shenyai and avenging him is what’s most important... I hate to say this, but it’s really out of our control now.”

”Is there really nothing we can do?”

”I’m sorry, but given the current situation of the Funeral Society...”

However, at this moment, Sakomiyu Ayase suddenly noticed a shadow flashing by nearby. She looked up in surprise, only to see Sakuramitsu Shuu rushing to her and grabbing her by the collar, pulling her up from the wheelchair.

”What do you all really want to do!”

At that moment, Sakuramitsu Shuu’s eyes were bloodshot, glaring fiercely at Sakomiyu Ayase, which shook her greatly.

”Wait, wait, we don’t know the situation either. I only just found out...”

”Don’t lie to me!”

Sakuramitsu Shuu flung Sakomiyu Ayase to the ground and glared at her.

”I know you all think I’m the mole, which is why you attacked my mother’s research institute, taking her hostage, right!”

”... Huh? What?!”

Upon hearing this, Sakomiyu Ayase’s face changed dramatically. Although she knew a group within the Funeral Society had taken over an organization affiliated with GHQ, she wasn’t aware of the specific location. Hearing that it was Sakuramitsu Shuu’s mother’s workplace, Sakomiyu Ayase naturally realized the situation was bad.

”I am going to rescue Haruka; whoever dares stop me I will kill them!”

After saying this, Sakuramitsu Shuu angrily turned to leave, while Sakomiyu Ayase hurriedly shouted.

”Wait, Shuu, those people... they’re your comrades too!”

”.........”

Hearing this, Sakuramitsu Shuu turned around, coldly glancing at Sakomiyu Ayase.

”They’re not my comrades, and neither are you. Think about it, the Funeral Society had nothing to do with me from the beginning. That weird Gene Void appeared on me out of nowhere; I’m not interested in any of your business. If it weren’t for being forced by circumstances, I would never join such a terrorist organization! Neither you, nor Inori Yuzuriha, nor anyone else ever truly trusted me, right! Then why should I trust any of you?! I’ve had enough of this; from now on, I will decide what to do myself!”

After saying this, Sakuramitsu Shuu turned and left, while Sakomiyu Ayase stared blankly at his departing figure, tightly clenching her fists and lowering her head, tears streaming down uncontrollably.

”Uugh... uugh...”

Clenching her fists tightly, Sakomiyu Ayase pounded the ground fiercely. She wanted to do something, but she couldn’t do anything because she was just a cripple who couldn’t move without a wheelchair. As the main pilot of the Funeral Society, Sakomiyu Ayase should do something at this time, but the mecha she piloted was destroyed during the previous GHQ raid on the Funeral Society, leaving her unable to do anything now.

”What’s wrong? What happened?”

Just then, a voice suddenly came from behind Sakomiyu Ayase. She quickly wiped away her tears and looked up to see a young man in a white coat standing not far behind her. If she remembered correctly, he seemed to be from the infirmary...

”I’m fine.”

Sakomiyu Ayase wiped away her tears, then shook her head.

”Just accidentally fell while maneuvering the wheelchair; it’s nothing serious.”

”I don’t think so.”

Fang Zheng glanced at Sakomiyu Ayase’s body. It must be said, Sakuramitsu Shuu usually seemed so timid, yet when he erupted, he was quite formidable. Although he hadn’t harmed Sakomiyu Ayase much, just by throwing her to the ground, she already had several scratches...

Thinking about this, Fang Zheng walked to Sakomiyu Ayase’s side, picked her up, and put her back in the wheelchair.

”Okay, let’s go to the infirmary; I’ll treat your wounds.”

”No, no need! I can handle it myself!”

”Alright, stop talking nonsense. Let’s go to the infirmary; from the looks of it you’ll have a hard time taking care of yourself.”

However, Fang Zheng didn’t care about Sakomiyu Ayase’s protest, directly pushing her wheelchair towards the infirmary.

Upon arriving at the infirmary, Fang Zheng also showed his side as a healthcare doctor, quickly treating Sakomiyu Ayase’s wounds. Despite her unwillingness, Sakomiyu Ayase couldn’t say much.

”Alright... keep the wounds dry for now; hmm... no big deal.”

As he spoke, Fang Zheng poured a cup of tea and placed it in front of Sakomiyu Ayase.

”How about you tell me, what happened between you and Sakuramitsu Shuu?”

”How do you know?”

Hearing this, Sakomiyu Ayase immediately became tense, glaring at Fang Zheng, who shrugged his shoulders and sat facing her.

”I saw it; I watched from upstairs as you and Sakuramitsu Shuu had a conflict... hmm, based on my understanding of Sakuramitsu Shuu, he doesn’t seem to be the type to casually get rough with girls...”

”It’s actually not a big deal...”

Sakomiyu Ayase hesitated for a moment, then decided to make up a reason to gloss over the matter.

”It was about those terrorists; since Sakuramitsu’s mother also works at the occupied research institute, he’s very worried about his mother’s safety...”

”I see.”

Upon hearing this, Fang Zheng nodded then sighed.

”But honestly, Sakuramitsu is quite unlucky.”

”...... Huh?”

”Didn’t you hear? It was just aired in the news broadcasts; a woman named Sakuramitsu Haruka attempted to escape from the terrorist-controlled research institute and was shot dead by them... if I am not mistaken, she would be Sakuramitsu Shuu’s mother.”

”What?!”

Upon hearing this, Sakomiyu Ayase was utterly stunned.
