Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

After Fang Zheng sent Nanami Chiaki away, it seemed that nothing much changed.

He didn’t hide Nanami Chiaki’s whereabouts from the others; after all, he sent Nanami Chiaki back to the past. Black and White Bear, as awesome as you are, can you pull off a time-space transfer for me too?

Is it possible that my Space-Time Dragon Blood lineage is fake?

If Black and White Bear really has this ability, Fang Zheng would just throw it to the time of the Big Bang.

Regarding Fang Zheng’s answer, everyone was dumbfounded, not knowing what to say. The idea of sending people back to the past and bringing them back through time to save them was so magical that it left this group unsure of how to understand it... so simply...

What else could be done? Give up thinking!

And after this, Black and White Bear’s actions became faster and faster, of course, Fang Zheng directly confronted them.

The day after Fang Zheng sent Nanami Chiaki away, Black and White Bear offered a new motive—ten billion yen! If you kill someone, you won’t just send them off, but also get ten billion yen!

Then Fang Zheng countered with a super double—twenty billion, in US dollars!

Where did it come from... do you even need to ask? It’s definitely the FBI.

Oh, and the Federal Reserve.

On the third day, Black and White Bear made another move—there’s a traitor among you? An insider of mine?

So under Fang Zheng’s watchful eye, Sakura Oogami quietly stepped out.

Alright, I admit it’s me, but I’ve long stopped...

On the fourth day, Black and White Bear finally revealed its true colors.

”By ten o’clock tonight, if there’s no mutual killing, then our Black and White Bear Legion will kill you all!”

Watching Black and White Bear’s furious disappearance on the TV screen, everyone was speechless.

”Do you feel like Black and White Bear is getting more hysterical?”

Aoi Asahina looked at everyone with confusion and spoke, while Fang Zheng shrugged.

”Women, you know, they always have a few days like that every month.”

”Black and White Bear is a robot...”

At this moment, the Afro Head Diviner wiped the cold sweat off his forehead and silently made a remark.

”But Black and White Bear’s behavior is indeed different from the past few days.”

Celestia was squinting her eyes in thought at this moment, then she turned her head and looked at Fang Zheng.

”Mr. Fang Zheng, could it be...”

”It’s possible, but nothing is certain right now.”

Fang Zheng understood Celestia’s meaning; Black and White Bear being so irritable might indicate that something changed on Nanami Chiaki’s side. This forced it to use other means to speed up progress, but these are all just guesses. In fact, Fang Zheng still isn’t sure when the two timelines might converge.

”Fujisaki, have you investigated anything on your side?”

”Ah, yes, Mr. Fang Zheng!”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s inquiry, the Ultimate Programmer Fujisaki nodded excitedly.

”I hacked into Black and White Bear’s network and indeed found some issues, but...”

At this point, Fujisaki hesitated a bit.

”What’s up?”

”Well...I discovered there is indeed a Black and White Bear production factory within this school. I tried to stop the machines, but failed. The opponent’s authority is higher than mine, and not only that, according to the information in Black and White Bear’s network, that secret factory can produce approximately... ten thousand Black and White Bears a day.”

”Huh? You must be joking!”

Upon hearing this, everyone was shocked.

”Does that creature have ten thousand of them?”

”It’s ten thousand every day.”

Togami Byakuya silently corrected the crowd’s statement at this moment.

”We’ve been here for several days already, the robots produced by that Black and White Bear factory are probably more than we imagined.”

”That’s not surprising.”

Compared to the dumbfounded crowd, Fang Zheng seemed quite calm. You have to know Enoshima Junko destroyed the entire world. A mere tens of thousands of Black and White Bears surely won’t be enough, although they can’t be infinite like the second generation, they’re certainly numerous.

”What are we going to do...”

This time, the atmosphere among everyone became tense again. Seeing their serious expressions, Fang Zheng also realized Black and White Bear’s intention. Yes, from a normal person’s perspective, tens of thousands or more Black and White Bear robots, don’t say anything else, just using numbers could bury them.

Even though Sakura Oogami and Genocider Syo are very powerful, they can’t be a match for tens of thousands of Black and White Bear robots. As for Fang Zheng—everyone knows he’s almost godlike, but they are nervous about whether Fang Zheng can fend off tens of thousands of Black and White Bears. Not only that, Fang Zheng himself knows that the strength he can use within this school is very limited, because Fang Zheng can’t destroy this school, which means he can’t unleash large-scale AOE attacks.

Otherwise, Fang Zheng could use one AOE move, wipe out the Black and White Bear Legion, and destroy the school, causing the entire planet to explode right where it stands...

This is an open conspiracy.

Looking at the people in front of him, Fang Zheng squinted his eyes. While others might see this as Black and White Bear’s hysterical madness, Fang Zheng knows that Black and White Bear is doing this on purpose. Simply put, under these circumstances, although there is Fang Zheng as a deterrent, secret killing is nearly impossible.

But there’s another way.

Which is suicide.

Black and White Bear’s goal is simply someone dead, as long as someone dies, then this game can continue. Yes, mutual killing is good, but if someone is willing to sacrifice themselves for everyone, it’s also a choice. Fang Zheng just happens to know someone did this kind of thing...

”Where are you going, Oogami-san?”

Fang Zheng’s keen eye caught Sakura Oogami trying to sneak out of the cafeteria. Upon Fang Zheng’s words, Sakura Oogami was taken aback and then stopped in her tracks.

”I was... I was going to take care of something.”

”Not planning to find a place to commit suicide, are you.”

”Eh?!”

Hearing this, everyone looked up in surprise towards Sakura Oogami. Aoi Asahina stood up with a pale face and grabbed Sakura Oogami’s arm directly.

”Wait, Sakura, what are you thinking!”

Sakura........

Listening to Aoi Asahina’s address and looking at the girl in front of him, as burly as Kenshiro, Fang Zheng twitched his mouth......

Forget it, after all, she’s not a magical girl, so I’ll pretend I didn’t hear anything.

”That’s Mr. Fang Zheng for you.”

Hearing Fang Zheng speak, Sakura Oogami revealed a slight smile. She obviously knew that this couldn’t be kept from Fang Zheng, so she might as well be honest and open about it.

”That’s right, that’s what I’m thinking. The Black and White Bear doesn’t just want us to kill each other, but hopes that someone among us would die. So, if only I die, then everyone won’t have to worry about the Black and White Bear Legion attacking anymore.”

”But, but Mr. Fang Zheng is very strong! He can definitely protect us; there’s no need for you to take such a risk!”

Hearing this, Aoi Asahina turned even paler and grasped Sakura Oogami’s arm tightly, yelling. But Sakura Oogami just shook her head helplessly.

”Mr. Fang Zheng is indeed powerful, but his fighting style is to open and close. In a confined space, its power is limited. If the Black and White Bear decides to use the tactic of overwhelming him with sheer numbers, even if it can’t pose any real threat to him, it would still be enough to keep him occupied while going after the others.”

”You see this quite clearly.”

Fang Zheng nodded. As expected from the Ultimate Martial Fighter, she’s perceptive at the very least. The Undead Squad’s Wolf Sword Technique also requires a lot of space. If Fang Zheng could demolish this school, then he wouldn’t worry about the power and execution. But the problem is, he can’t cause any harm to the school itself........

If Fang Zheng had to face tens of thousands of Black and White Bear robots on his own in this situation, it would indeed be a bit overwhelming. Or rather, he could only protect a few people.

”Does that mean even you, Mr. Fang Zheng, have no solution?”

Hearing this, Aoi Asahina turned pale once again. However, Fang Zheng waved his hand dismissively.

”Don’t worry. Since I’m here, of course, I have a way.”

As he spoke, Fang Zheng let out a cold chuckle.

”More people? If the Black and White Bear wants to have more people, then let’s just see who has more, shall we?”

”.........?”

Hearing this, everyone was puzzled to some extent. What on earth did Fang Zheng mean by those words?

Time ticked by second by second.

Everyone stayed in the dining hall; nobody left. Because Fang Zheng had already told them not to wander around, that he had a way to deal with the Black and White Bear’s tricks. If anyone really tried to sacrifice themselves to protect others, then Fang Zheng would surely mock their corpse until they died.

At the moment, Fang Zheng sat on a chair reading a book, with Celestia and Sayaka Maizono sitting by his side. Meanwhile, Aoi Asahina clung tightly to Sakura Oogami, refusing to let her act independently. The Biker Gang Oowada, and Discipline Committee Member Ishimaru Kiyotaka gathered together, whispering with serious faces. The Ultimate Crossdresser Chihiro Fujisaki was also among them.

Togami Byakuya, as usual, had his arrogant expression, sitting in the corner with his eyes closed. The Ultimate Literary Girl Toko Fukawa sat behind him, her face flushed, panting and gazing at Togami Byakuya, while it’s unclear what unhealthy thoughts were on her mind. Meanwhile, the Diviner paced back and forth with a worried expression, looking like he’s about to face execution.

Only Makoto Naegi was restless, standing up and sitting down repeatedly. Finally, it seemed he had made up his mind and approached Fang Zheng.

”Uh... Mr. Fang Zheng, I have something...”

”Go ahead.”

Fang Zheng gave Naegi a glance before retracting his gaze. He knew full well that Naegi was worried about the Blade Wraith hiding in his room. After all, if the Black and White Bear army attacked, then the Blade Wraith wouldn’t be able to escape. Naegi may have been conflicted about whether to bring the Blade Wraith along, but now it seems he has made up his mind.

So go ahead.

As for Naegi being killed by the Blade Wraith, Fang Zheng wasn’t concerned. As if the ”Ultimate Luck” was a joke? Actually, Fang Zheng had already seen through surveillance several times as the Blade Wraith tried to eliminate Naegi in ways he wouldn’t expect, hoping to rid herself of any attachment.

Yet none of the Blade Wraith’s plans ever succeeded. Every time, Naegi would avoid danger unexpectedly, or the Blade Wraith would make an inexplicable mistake. For instance, when the Blade Wraith attempted to stab Naegi from behind, the knife handle slipped, sending the knife flying to the ceiling.

Another time, she tried to strangle Naegi with an electric wire, only for the wire to break mysteriously as she picked it up.

In yet another instance, she attempted to push Naegi down a staircase to kill him, but ended up slipping on a banana peel, nearly killing herself........

Now, even the Blade Wraith has given up. From a certain perspective, that’s true despair......

You have no choice but to acknowledge the protagonist’s aura........

Sure enough, after a moment, Makoto Naegi returned to the dining hall dragging the Blade Wraith along. Upon seeing the Blade Wraith’s appearance, everyone was naturally shocked. Others, led by Togami Byakuya, immediately started debating with Naegi. As for Fang Zheng, he watched the commotion with Sayaka Maizono and Celestia—after all, they had been watching Naegi and the Blade Wraith’s live show up to this point and weren’t surprised.

In the end, Makoto Naegi managed to convince Togami Byakuya with his ”Ultimate Orator” skills. The latter, throwing out a tsundere line of ”In that case, do as you wish,” sat down pouting.

Finally, time ticked by second by second until nine in the evening, and soon the loudspeaker sounded again.

”It’s almost time. If no one dies soon, then everyone will die together, okay?”

”Heh heh.”

Hearing the Black and White Bear’s announcement, Fang Zheng chuckled, continuing to turn his attention back to his book. Although the others didn’t say anything, it was obvious from their expressions that they were getting more and more nervous. Finally, under everyone’s gaze, the time reached ten at night.

”Doo-doo——————! Time’s up! What a pity, it seems you’ve made the wrong choice!”

Accompanied by the Black and White Bear’s twisted voice, everyone soon heard footsteps coming from all directions, then they saw a series of Black and White Bears appearing at the end of the corridor, wielding sharp claws and showing chilling smiles.

”.........!”

Even with mental preparation, witnessing this scene caused everyone to tense up unconsciously.

”Mr. Fang Zheng, what....... do we do now?”

At this moment, even Sayaka Maizono and Celestia were somewhat anxious. Fang Zheng only raised his head, glanced at the sea of Black and White Bears advancing toward them from outside the door.

”More people, is it.”

As he spoke, Fang Zheng raised his hand, and with his motion, a bizarre, pitch-black, twisted void gradually emerged.

”Then let’s see whose numbers are greater.”

With that, Fang Zheng snapped his fingers lightly.

In the next moment, crimson creatures resembling demons swarmed out of the black hole, opening their maws filled with sharp teeth, they charged directly at the Black and White Bear Legion outside the door!
