Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

For others, dealing with the Black and White Bear Legion might be difficult, but for Fang Zheng...

Is this even an issue?

Was my role as Swarm Overlord just a pretense?

To Fang Zheng, this is just a matter of opening a wormhole.

But for others, when they saw thousands of creatures, resembling mythological demons, leap out of the wormhole roaring and rush towards the Black and White Bear Legion, they completely gave up on thinking.

”Wha-What the heck is this!!”

After a moment, Aoi Asahina screamed, jumped up, and tremblingly hid behind Sakura Oogami. Even Sakura Oogami clenched her fists tightly and glared at the creatures. The aura of the swarm was terrifying enough that just their presence was enough to evoke humans’ primal fear and survival instincts.

”Oh, these are my cute little puppies.”

Fang Zheng reached out and petted a Jumping Bug that came to his side. The Jumping Bug shook its head and tail, looking... well, not cute at all.

”Okay, I admit it’s not very cute, but it’s very obedient.”

Fang Zheng shrugged his shoulders, thinking that maybe he should reconsider the Jumping Bug Pikachu project.

”Mr. Fang Zheng, could these be demons summoned from hell?”

Celestia had regained her composure and looked at Fang Zheng in astonishment, asking. It’s normal for her to have such thoughts, after all, Fang Zheng introduced himself as the ”Ultimate Mage,” and where there’s magic, hell and demons naturally follow.

”Uh... if you find it easier to understand that way, then sure.”

Anyway, from the looks of it, the explanation is acceptable.

”This is really interesting...”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s reply, Celestia’s eyes lit up, staring at Fang Zheng intently. Fang Zheng wasn’t surprised; Celestia’s dark Gothic attire hinted at an undying spirit of the middle-school syndrome. Seeing demons and whatnot would naturally pique her interest.

With the swarm’s arrival, the Black and White Bear Legion quickly crumbled. These weren’t ordinary Jumping Bugs but ones equipped with ”Accelerator” Vector Manipulation ability. In this world, they’re practically invincible. Black and White Bear robots couldn’t even scratch the Jumping Bugs’ skin and were shredded into pieces.

”Well, it looks like the problem is solved now.”

Fang Zheng squinted his eyes, stood up, and looked towards the hallway.

”Let’s go.”

”Go?”

”Yes, the appearance of the Black and White Bear Legion signifies a transportation entry somewhere, let my puppies go in first, find the mastermind, and sort this out so we can leave this dreadful place.”

After saying this, Fang Zheng was the first to leave the dining hall. The others exchanged glances, and then Celestia pulled Sayaka Maizono along with her. Kirigiri Kyoko followed closely, and after a while, Togami Byakuya snorted coldly, forcing himself back to his normal expression, and then the remaining people followed Togami Byakuya out of the dining hall to the hallway.

At this moment, the hallway was in chaos, with scattered fragments of torn Black and White Bear robots everywhere. Even though these robots didn’t bleed or have expressions, the sight of so many shredded robots lying around was unsettling.

”Boom!!”

Suddenly, they heard a series of loud banging noises nearby, and everyone flinched, quickening their pace. They soon arrived at the entrance hall on the first floor of the school, where the banging was coming from behind the massive sealed iron gate.

”Boom!! Boom Boom!!!”

”What is happening?”

Listening to the intense banging from outside, everyone glanced at each other, but at that moment, Fang Zheng raised an eyebrow, opened his personal terminal, and lightly tapped on it, quickly triggering a voice from within.

”President, can you hear me? President?!”

”I can hear you, Nanami.”

As soon as he heard the voice from the personal terminal, Fang Zheng smiled faintly, his lips curling slightly.

”That’s great... I just tried, didn’t expect it to really work...”

Nanami Chiaki’s voice carried a hint of relief, but soon became urgent again.

”We just heard from the broadcast that the Black and White Bear intends to launch an attack on you with the Legion now...”

”We’re fine, how are you on your end?”

”We’re all good too!”

Nanami’s tone became more serious.

”President, actually, we’re right opposite the sealed iron gate in Peak of Hope Academy now.”

”Eh—?!”

Upon hearing this, everyone couldn’t sit still, gathering around Fang Zheng, staring at the personal terminal. Holding their breath, they listened to Nanami Chiaki’s voice from within.

”But we can’t open the iron gate, I tried using a powerful move to break it directly, but it wouldn’t budge. However, a classmate has an idea and needs you to coordinate from inside... Sayuda!”

”Alright, leave it to me, President!”

Soon, another voice, somewhat nonchalant and casual, rang out.

”Ah, ah, I’m Sayuda, so I’ll cut to the chase because time is tight. Here’s the deal, I dismantled the control system of the iron gate from outside, discovering that it is simultaneously controlled by two systems inside and outside. Simply put, if we can cut off control from both sides, the system will automatically reset. I can manage the external system physically... can anyone handle the internal one?”

”I-I can try!”

At that moment, the crossdresser Chihiro Fujisaki stepped forward.

”I can hack into the internal control system and attempt a disconnect!”

”Great, then I’ll leave it to you, junior... Whoa! President, save me!”

Suddenly, Sayuda’s voice sharpened, followed by the sound of clattering.

”Nanami, what’s happening?”

Fang Zheng frowned slightly, inquiring softly.

”Sorry, President, we seem to have been discovered coming over, and many Black and White Bears are gathering towards us. I’m leading the classmates to resist, but... we might not hold for long.”

”Don’t worry.”

Upon hearing Nanami’s reply, Fang Zheng smiled a bit.

”You just need to open the door, and all these problems will not be problems.”

Meanwhile, Chihiro Fujisaki held his laptop, plugging it into the door’s panel, and started hacking the system. Chihiro Fujisaki, at this moment, was fully focused, staring at the screen, a bead of sweat trickling down his face, making him look...

Hmm, a bit more feminine?

You’re never turning back into a man, it seems...

”I’m ready, Sayuda-senpai!”

Grumbled Fang Zheng silently, as Chihiro Fujisaki successfully hacked the door’s internal system, tensely watching the screen, shouting loudly. Soon enough, Sayuda’s voice echoed through Fang Zheng’s personal terminal.

”Alright, junior, let me count down. Three, two, one!”

As Sayuda finished counting, Chihiro forcefully hit the enter key. Then...

”———————!”

Suddenly, the entire door trembled violently, followed by rumbling sounds, slowly starting to rotate open before everyone’s eyes. Blinding sunlight streamed in from outside, along with...

”Quick, quick, get in!”

But before anyone could feel relieved and rush out to embrace freedom, a group of students, bedraggled and in various outfits, dashed into the school through the opened door. Behind them, Nanami Chiaki spread her wings, holding up a huge, pure white shield, fending off the tide-like assault of the Black and White Bears.

Seeing this, Fang Zheng raised an eyebrow and rushed forward with a leap, pressing Nanami’s shoulder down.

”President!”

Turning her head, Nanami saw Fang Zheng, smiled instantly.

”You’ve worked hard, I’ll take it from here.”

Fang Zheng nodded at Nanami Chiaki and turned his head to look at the square ahead. He saw the silhouettes of Black and White Bear robots everywhere, clearly indicating that there were quite a few robots here. However, for Fang Zheng, this was irrelevant. In the instant that Nanami opened the door for him, the shackles binding Fang Zheng were completely lifted. The robots before him posed no problem at all.

Watching the eager Black and White Bears rushing toward him, Fang Zheng snorted coldly. Then, he raised his right hand high, and a pitch-black Greatsword appeared in his hand. Fang Zheng reversed his grip on the sword and thrust it forcefully into the ground.

In the next instant, overwhelming flames suddenly erupted, engulfing everything in bright red flames.

Shortly after, everything returned to silence.

When everyone walked out of the door again, only broken remains and charred debris lay before them.

”Unbelievable...”

Seeing the scene before them, both the 78th generation students from the school with Fang Zheng and the 77th generation students brought by Nanami Chiaki were surprised, widening their eyes in disbelief. The previous event was just too fantastical, making them prefer to think it was some kind of illusion...

”Not surprising, he is indeed the president; truly impressive.”

Compared to everyone else, Nanami Chiaki was evidently calmer. After all, she spent two years with Fang Zheng in the Death Game and obtained hard light armor from him. Nanami Chiaki was not going to treat Fang Zheng as an ordinary person. Thus, even though Fang Zheng had burned so many Black and White Bear robots, Nanami Chiaki found nothing shocking.

”Nothing special, just basic operations.”

In response to Nanami Chiaki’s words, Fang Zheng smiled slightly. At that moment, Kyoko Kirigiri walked over from behind. Seeing the interaction between the two, Kyoko Kirigiri frowned and then coughed.

”Mr. Fang Zheng, the most important thing right now is to find Enoshima Junko, right?”

”No need to look for her, she’s gone.”

Faced with Kyoko Kirigiri’s inquiry, Fang Zheng shook his head helplessly. Earlier, he had instructed the swarm to find Enoshima Junko immediately, but discovered she had already left. This baffled Fang Zheng as in the game, Enoshima Junko constantly sought despair, leading her to execute herself upon being exposed at the end.

But now Enoshima Junko ran away? What’s going on? Could it be that the game is just a game and Enoshima Junko had other plans? Or was it because he sent Nanami back in time to alter history, causing Enoshima Junko’s actions to shift?

Or perhaps it was due to his own presence? After all, he wielded the Order Clan’s inscription, whereas Enoshima Junko was a condensation of Chaos Power, and naturally opposed each other. Maybe there was a reason in this aspect too?

Of course, these are merely speculations... However, this doesn’t matter, Fang Zheng already knew where Enoshima Junko fled.

With this in mind, Fang Zheng returned to his senses and looked around. At that moment, those previously confined within the school had already left, standing in the square looking at the blue skies and white clouds. They’ve been locked in the school for so many days, and now finally left, enjoying freedom once again, which was like a dream come true for them.

”Alright, I know you all feel sentimental.”

Looking around at everyone, Fang Zheng clapped his hands, signaling them to gather. Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s words, everyone hurriedly gathered around. The 78th generation students were naturally there, and the 77th generation students brought by Nanami Chiaki were also curious, wanting to see what Fang Zheng planned to say.

”I know you surely have many questions and a lot to say, but now is not the time to waste. In fact, earlier I already had my cute little dog...”

While speaking, Fang Zheng patted the Jumping Bug beside him, causing the crowd to take a step back. Fang Zheng ignored the fear on their faces and continued speaking.

”... conduct a thorough search of the entire academy, but unfortunately Enoshima Junko is already gone. From the information I’ve obtained, she probably left the Academy of Hope Peak after issuing the self-slaughter order. Those Black and White Bear Legion are not to force us to slaughter each other but rather to buy time.”

”Where did Enoshima Junko go?”

”That’s our next goal.”

Fang Zheng glanced at the crowd and continued.

”I know you may not know what to do next, so let me give you a goal. In truth, based on the intelligence I’ve received, Enoshima Junko has instructed the despair cultists brainwashed by her to capture your families and imprison them in a city. I don’t know why Enoshima Junko is doing this; maybe to hold them hostage or maybe to do something with them akin to what we encountered at the School of Hope Peak...”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s speculation, everyone’s complexions changed drastically. They could imagine the consequences if their family faced such a situation. Although they were ”Ultimate” beings, their families were ordinary people!

”You’ve known about this for a while now, right?”

Kyoko Kirigiri stared at Fang Zheng and questioned, and Fang Zheng nodded.

”Yes, and because of this, I know they...”

While speaking, Fang Zheng gestured towards Makoto Naegi and the others.

”... their relatives are still alive.”

Hearing this, before anyone else could say anything, the Biker Gang member suddenly jumped out, grabbed Fang Zheng.

”You knew this earlier, why didn’t you tell us?!”

”What would telling you accomplish?”

Even being grabbed by the Biker Gang member, Fang Zheng’s expression remained unchanged.

”Back then we were all trapped in the school; would revealing that expedite slaughter among us? Moreover, you needn’t worry; before this they were safe... but now it’s hard to say.”

”Damn it...”

Listening to Fang Zheng’s response, Oowada gritted his teeth. He knew Fang Zheng was right; if Fang Zheng had told them then about their families being captured and imprisoned by the despair cultists, everyone would likely engage in combat, whether they wanted to slaughter each other or not.

So he growled, released Fang Zheng, and turned to leave. Seeing this, Makoto Naegi quickly ran over.

”Wait, Oowada, where are you going!”

”I’m going to save them! Do you want to just watch your family be toyed with by Junko, that lunatic?”

”Of course not, but... do you know where to go?”

”...”

Facing Makoto’s question, Oowada paused, unsure of what to do next. Witnessing this, Celestia chuckled softly and spoke up.

”Don’t worry, I’m sure Mr. Fang Zheng has a plan, right?”

”Indeed, since Mr. Fang Zheng told us about this, it signifies he must have a plan.”

Sayaka Maizono composed herself, encouraging everyone.

”That’s right, I know the precise location, but if you walk there, by the time you arrive, it’ll be too late.”

Fang Zheng chuckled while looking at everyone, reaching his hand into his pocket.

”Luckily, I planned ahead.”

While speaking, he took out...

”Car keys?”

”A BMW at that...”

Staring at the car keys in Fang Zheng’s hand, everyone was at a loss for words.

”There are so many of us, even with a BMW, how do we fit?”

”But even if we have a car, it would have already been destroyed...”

Looking at Fang Zheng’s car keys, the crowd murmured, and Togami Byakuya snorted coldly, turning away.

”So boring.”

”Tsk, tsk, you just don’t get it, young master.”

Fang Zheng looked at Togami Byakuya and shrugged.

”A BMW is great for attracting gals; it’s quite eye-catching, you know?”

”Hey, what era’s knowledge is that, that’s outdated!”

Listening to this, Sayuda, previously responsible for opening the door outside, couldn’t help but complain.

”Charming cars, beautiful women, BMW beauties, timeless; it’s just that you don’t know how to appreciate it.”

Fang Zheng shook his head, sighed, and pressed the car key.

Then, accompanied by two ”beep-beep” sounds, everyone saw a swirling space channel emitting golden radiance appear in the sky not far away. Then, an entirely golden Void Glorious Ship slowly flew out from the Teleportation Gate, quietly hovering in the air at a distance.

”...”

Seeing this, everyone couldn’t help but be astounded.

What kind of crazy BMW is this!
