Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

In the face of Fang Zheng’s seemingly cheating abilities, everything was laid bare, revealing its true form.

Simply put, the entire process was much like the first incident in the game, where the assailant’s attempt to murder was countered with a lethal hit. However, unlike the time with Sayaka Maizono, where the assailant grabbed her knife to counter, this time the opponent used a model sword from the room.

Of course, Yamada Hifumi wasn’t pitiful, since everyone watched him devise a plan to strangle the opponent with a rope and make it look like suicide...

They were all scheming dogs.

As for the killer... just like in the game, it was the ”Ultimate Baseball Star” Kuwata Leon.

The sequence of events was straightforward. Yamada Hifumi secretly sent a message to Kuwata Leon, claiming he inadvertently captured a secret and wanted the boys to gather in his room to discuss it (this was obviously false; he only called Kuwata Leon, but if he called only one person, it would undoubtedly raise suspicion, so he pretended to invite all the boys).

And Kuwata Leon fell for it, but he also had his schemes, after all, one shouldn’t intend to harm others without being cautious. So Kuwata Leon brought a small knife for protection. Whether he had the intention to kill the opponent remains unknown.

In the end, Kuwata came to the room of the dead fat otaku, who claimed the others hadn’t arrived yet. Kuwata expressed a desire to see the photos first, so the dead otaku placed some mysterious photos on the table to lure Kuwata Leon to look, while he prepared a tool from behind and suddenly wrapped it around Kuwata Leon’s neck.

If it were anyone else, this move might have worked, but Kuwata Leon was an Ultimate Baseball Star, and baseballs traveling at a hundred kilometers per hour were as easy as play to him. Did this sedentary fat otaku really think he could pull a sneak attack without being noticed?

The result was that Yamada Hifumi’s sneak attack was blocked by Kuwata, and although Kuwata Leon lost the knife he brought during the struggle, he directly picked up the model sword from Yamada Hifumi’s room and hit the fat otaku’s head like a baseball.

Thus, the fat otaku collapsed from a single hit, and Kuwata Leon continued to bash the fat otaku’s head several times to ensure he was dead, then left the crime scene.

Afterwards, Kuwata Leon utilized his Ultimate Baseball Star abilities, opened the door to the incinerator through the fence, and threw the model sword and his bloodstained clothes inside to be burned.

Initially, Kuwata Leon believed that since he had disposed of the weapon and evidence, everything would be fine; however... he did not anticipate the existence of a BUG like Fang Zheng, who practically observed the entire crime process and broadcasted it to everyone!

The rest need not be said. In front of the surveillance video, Kuwata Leon had no opportunity to argue and was mentally broken, confessing himself. Since the main culprit confessed, no further deductions were needed, and the Black and White Bear directly dragged him to the execution ground with a chain. Just like in the game, they tied Kuwata Leon up and fired a thousand baseballs at him, beating him to death alive.

”A path to self-destruction.”

Compared to the pallid and horrified audience, Fang Zheng was merely watching a show, so even when watching Kuwata Leon die miserably, he was internally unmoved and even felt a bit amused.

”How can you say that!”

Upon hearing this, the tanned athletic girl, Aoi Asahina, couldn’t help herself. She glared at Fang Zheng and yelled loudly.

”If you had revealed your ability earlier, maybe they wouldn’t have turned on each other! Why, why......”

”Would you have believed me if I had?”

However, faced with Aoi Asahina’s reprimand, Fang Zheng simply crossed his arms and glared at her coldly.

”Did I or did I not warn you all not to play tricks? They were stubbornly unyielding, and that’s my fault? Moreover, why should I reveal all my abilities to you? Do I look like an idiot? Now let me tell you, I actually come from a civilization far superior to yours. Originally, due to the overwhelming despair pervasive on your planet, I should have utterly destroyed it. But due to a slight affection for you, I decided to come down and play this death game with you. Do you believe me?”

”Uh......”

Hearing this, Aoi Asahina was rendered speechless. In fact, she regretted speaking as soon as the words were out of her mouth, but after hearing Fang Zheng’s response, she truly didn’t know what to say...

”Now is not the time for internal conflict.”

Fortunately, at this moment, Kirigiri Kyoko timely spoke up, breaking the somewhat awkward atmosphere.

”We should first find a way to locate the Blade Wraith.”

Indeed, Kuwata Leon is dead, but what’s frustrating is that after he killed the fat otaku, in order to avoid suspicion falling on him, Kuwata Leon secretly released the Blade Wraith who had been locked in the storage room!

Originally, Kuwata Leon’s plan was that, the next day, when they discovered the fat otaku’s corpse, they would also notice the absence of the previously locked Blade Wraith, thereby naturally suspecting the Blade Wraith. But he hadn’t expected a BUG like Fang Zheng to appear, exposing him completely before he could even start his performance.

So now, Kuwata Leon is dead, and the Blade Wraith is missing...

”Mr. Fang Zheng, do you know where Blade Wraith is?”

”Well.......”

When Kirigiri Kyoko asked, Fang Zheng stroked his chin and cast a smiling glance over the crowd before withdrawing his gaze.

”Don’t worry, if she appears, I will definitely catch her. In fact, I placed a Magic Seal on her when I caught her, so as soon as she shows up, she will be caught immediately. At least in this school, there’s nowhere she can escape to, so you can rest assured.”

At this point, Fang Zheng squinted his eyes and looked once more at Makoto Naegi, who was sweating profusely and pale-faced.

He knew exactly where Blade Wraith was; she was hiding right now in Makoto Naegi’s room!

Fang Zheng also knew that upon discovering she was released, Blade Wraith ran to Makoto Naegi’s room and asked him not to reveal her presence to anyone. Being kind-hearted, Makoto Naegi agreed. After that, the body of the fat guy was discovered, and up to now—Blade Wraith is still curled up in Makoto Naegi’s room.

For Fang Zheng, catching Blade Wraith is just a matter of snapping his fingers, but after thinking it over, he decided against it. It seems like this closed-room murder mystery won’t work out, so why not enjoy a youthful romance comedy? Fang Zheng remembered that in the IF line, Blade Wraith seemed to have a fondness for Makoto Naegi. If Makoto Naegi can manage to win Blade Wraith over, maybe she’ll be willing to defect and help them escape together—wouldn’t that be a win?

As for sacrifices...as long as it’s not himself, it doesn’t matter.

And isn’t Naegi getting something out of it too?

After that, everyone dispersed, and Fang Zheng returned to the classroom. As he leisurely passed the time sipping tea, Celestia sought him out again.

”Good evening, Mr. Fang Zheng, I hope I’m not interrupting.”

”No, I’m just idling about.”

Fang Zheng lifted his teacup and offered as she walked into the classroom. ”Care for a cup?”

”In that case, I’ll gladly accept.”

Saying this, Celestia shut the door, sat down on the chair opposite Fang Zheng, and poured herself a cup of tea as she comfortably settled in. Then, Celestia squinted her eyes, watching the tea swirl in her cup.

”Mr. Fang Zheng, what you said yesterday, was it a trial for me?”

”Since you’ve guessed it, there’s nothing more to say.”

Fang Zheng took a sip of tea and squinted at Celestia. As she had previously said, the ring he gave her yesterday was indeed just a trial. Fang Zheng knew Celestia was a deeply calculating girl, far more adept than your typical manipulator. She was a gambler who had risen through the ranks from the underworld, making her incomparable to any ordinary schemer.

Therefore, even though Celestia approached him yesterday, Fang Zheng did not immediately agree. He gave her the ring as a test. If Celestia thought possessing the ring would enable her to recklessly charge ahead, things would naturally be different.

With Celestia’s intelligence, she wouldn’t even need to act herself. She could incite others to commit murder as the killer from behind the scenes, then use herself as bait to provoke the killer into attacking her. If she managed to trick Fang Zheng into arriving in time to defeat the killer, then a perfect crime was essentially accomplished.

Fang Zheng didn’t know if Celestia had that in mind, which is why he tested her. From the looks of things now...Celestia clearly has second thoughts.

Obviously, she hadn’t expected Fang Zheng’s power to be so overwhelming. If he could truly manipulate time and space to uncover the truth, then no amount of scheming on her part would suffice.

”It seems I miscalculated. Although I anticipated your strength, I didn’t expect it to be this formidable......”

”Oh?”

Hearing Celestia’s statement, Fang Zheng smiled slightly.

”So what do you plan to do? Cancel the gamble?”

”No, I’ve made up my mind.”

With that, Celestia stood up.

”Since you possess such great power, Mr. Fang Zheng, it’s likely the outside world is just as you described, completely turned into hell. Under such circumstances, I cannot survive alone. If I must rely on someone, then naturally, I need to make all necessary plans.”

As she spoke, Celestia reached out and gently untied her ribbon. Soon, the pitch-black gothic dress she wore slowly floated to the ground, and shortly after, the skirt followed suit.

”So, Mr. Fang Zheng, do you have any other requests?”

At this moment, Celestia was only wearing a white shirt, through which her lingerie was faintly visible from beneath the hem, her snow-white skin radiating a soft and alluring glow under the dim light. Her pitch-black over-knee socks paired with red shoes made the girl before him look as enchanting as a budding rose.

”Hmm...”

Fang Zheng squinted his eyes as he looked at Celestia.

”Shouldn’t you apologize by showing your belly?”

”Is that so?”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s words, Celestia was slightly surprised and widened her eyes, then she put her hand to her mouth and chuckled.

”Indeed, there is such a rule in nature, showing harmlessness and submission to a stronger being, isn’t it? This makes sense...”

While speaking, Celestia extended her hand and slowly unbuttoned her shirt one by one. As the pure white shirt slid off, she stood before Fang Zheng in her lingerie. Under the pitch-black lace, her slender waist and smooth abdomen, exquisite like a work of art, captivated his senses...

”Now, are you satisfied, Mr. Fang Zheng?”

”Whether I’m satisfied depends on your sincerity.”

At this moment, Fang Zheng stood up and reached out to grab Celestia. However, just as his hand was about to touch Celestia’s shoulder, suddenly, a knock on the door echoed.

”Knock knock knock.”

Accompanied by the knocking, a timid girl’s voice came from outside the door.

”Um... Mr. Fang Zheng, are you resting? I’m, I’m Maizono...”

”Oh...”

Upon hearing the voice, Celestia was slightly surprised and let out a soft exclamation, then looked at Fang Zheng with interest, blinking her eyes.

”You are very popular indeed, Mr. Fang Zheng.”

”Right, I often wonder why I’m so popular myself.”

”...Mr. Fang Zheng, although I shouldn’t say this, you’re a bit too... ”

”This is called self-awareness.”

”...I don’t think the word ’self-awareness’ should be used like that.”

Celestia retorted speechlessly, then quickly resumed her previous expression.

”In that case, leave it to me.”

Having said that, Celestia walked to the door, opening the previously locked classroom door, revealing the Ultimate Idol—Sayaka Maizono standing outside, looking uneasy.

”Really sorry to bother you so late, Mr. Fang Zheng... Eh? Miss Celestia?”

Seeing Celestia only dressed in lingerie in front of her, Sayaka Maizono was also dumbfounded. She hesitated for a moment before realizing and then quickly retreated with a flushed face.

”I’m so sorry, I didn’t know...”

However, before Sayaka Maizono could finish her sentence, Celestia cheerfully grabbed her arm and forcefully pulled her into the room, locking the door with a ’click’ sound.

”Miss Celestia?”

At this moment, Sayaka Maizono was tightly held from behind by Celestia, unable to move, while Celestia whispered seductively in her ear.

”No need to be shy, Maizono. We all know why you’re here, and in fact, I feel the same. In that sense, we’re comrades.”

”Oh no, I, I... not...”

Compared to Celestia, Sayaka Maizono was already blushing furiously. She lowered her head, nervously fiddling with her skirt, uncertain of what to say. But Celestia wouldn’t let her off that easily, gently nibbling on Sayaka Maizono’s ear before continuing.

”So, Maizono, what is it you really want to do here? If there’s nothing important, I suggest you leave, because I’m about to do some things with Mr. Fang Zheng that are not meant for others to see.”

”I, I...”

Celestia’s words seemed to make Sayaka Maizono even more conflicted, until finally, as if making a firm decision or resigning herself, she suddenly cried out.

”I don’t want to die!”

With that, Sayaka Maizono lunged at Fang Zheng, grabbing his collar tightly.

”I don’t want to die, don’t want to die...”

So that’s it.

Upon hearing Sayaka Maizono’s whisper that sounded like a dream, Fang Zheng nodded. It seemed that witnessing Yamada Hifumi’s death and the execution of Kuwata Reon had greatly impacted Sayaka Maizono. It was evident from the original work that Sayaka Maizono was not someone who could remain calm in the face of life and death, which was why she was the first to act impulsively in the game.

If Celestia’s willingness to sacrifice herself was based on calculation and judgment for the optimal choice, then Sayaka Maizono was entirely seeking someone who could protect her out of fear of death.

Just like a small animal instinctively taking refuge near a stronger being to avoid danger.

Thinking so, Fang Zheng also reached out and gently patted Maizono’s hair.

”Don’t worry, Maizono, I won’t let you die.”

”Re-really?”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s response, Sayaka Maizono looked up at him uncertainly, and Fang Zheng nodded slightly. Seeing this, Maizono slowly approached him, but at that moment...

”Um...”

Suddenly, Celestia appeared from beside, embracing Fang Zheng, pressing her lips tightly against his. Sayaka Maizono, meanwhile, blushed, watching the scene in front of her with wide eyes. After a moment, the two finally parted, Celestia licking her lips with her pinky tongue before smiling and turning her head towards Maizono.

”Maizono, you must adhere to the principle of first come, first served. After all, I was here first...”

”No, I’m not...”

”Then, Mr. Fang Zheng.”

Looking at the flushed Maizono, Celestia gave a slight chuckle and turned her head again towards Fang Zheng.

”Not eating what is delivered to your mouth is a man’s disgrace, so who do you plan to taste first?”

To this question posed by Celestia, Fang Zheng showed... no need to answer.

He firmly grasped both girls in his arms, and in the next moment, the three collapsed onto the bed.

Looking from outside the window, the lights soon dimmed, and the three interwoven shadows gradually melded into the darkness...
