Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

”Puhuhuhu...”

Looking at Fang Zheng standing before it, the Black and White Bear let out an eerie laugh.

”Defying the principal is a serious crime, you know?”

As the Black and White Bear spoke, a few more Black and White Bears emerged from behind the podium. Compared to the previous doll-sized Black and White Bear, these were about the size of humans, or even taller. They raised their arms, each claw equipped with three sharp blades.

In the next moment, these Black and White Bears grinned and lunged at Fang Zheng.

”A creature like you thinks about becoming a principal too early by five hundred years!”

Faced with the attacking Black and White Bears, Fang Zheng smirked coldly, raised his greatsword high, and charged towards the oncoming Black and White Bears with a flash of sword light!

By now, the other students had already retreated to the back, trembling as they watched the battlefield ahead. The once spacious gymnasium was now in shambles. A knight clad in silver armor and wielding a Pitch Black Greatsword was swinging his sword in combat with the Black and White Bears that had appeared from who knows where. The Black and White Bears waved their sharp claws and fangs, their round bodies akin to starving wolves, rushing fearlessly to try and tear the knight to shreds.

But instead, it was the Black and White Bears that were ripped to pieces.

The Pitch Black Greatsword slashed through the air, cutting through the Black and White Bears as effortlessly as slicing a cake. Soon, dismembered bodies and severed heads of the Black and White Bears were scattered everywhere. Witnessing this, the students at the back were scared, almost shrinking into the corners.

”W-what are those things?!”

”They don’t seem like living creatures.”

Kirigiri Kyoko reached out, picked up a fragment from the ground, and examined it carefully.

”It’s machinery.”

”So, they’re robots... I suspected as much... but how could there be such advanced tech?”

At this point, others also saw the fragment in Kirigiri’s hand, yet they were still baffled. In their memory, robot technology hadn’t advanced to this extent. But why were there so many robot Black and White Bears here? This is way too science fiction!

Still...

”Are we sure this is okay to go on like this?”

The Biker Gang member Oowada voiced his unease.

”Why? That person seems quite strong.”

Hearing the biker gang’s murmur, the adjacent shut-in asked in confusion, and the biker gang member glanced at him, shaking his head.

”You’ve never fought before, so you wouldn’t know. No matter how strong one person is, they can’t take on a group forever. You think our gang is tough, but if one of us faced twenty or thirty, we’d have to run. Being a hero now is a death wish. What’s the saying? ’Two fists are no match for four hands.’ No matter how strong you are, you can’t handle everything at once...”

”But it looks like he’s doing it pretty easily.”

Watching Fang Zheng effortlessly sweep aside the Black and White Bears again, Aoi Asahina remarked quizzically.

”Indeed, it won’t do.”

At this moment, the muscular fighting champion, who was more robust than an American boxing king, stepped forward, clenched her fists, emitting cracking sounds.

”Lord Fang Zheng, allow me to assist you!”

With these words, Sakura Oogami roared and charged in like a rampaging brown bear. Raising her arms, as thick as buckets, she clenched her fists and punched the Black and White Bear in front of her, her fist hammering into its body like an iron claw. The rotund body of the Black and White Bear caved in instantly, completely pierced through.

”Hiss———!”

Seeing this, everyone else inhaled sharply. They’d seen how thick the steel plating of the Black and White Bear was, even reaching bulletproof levels. If any of them punched it, they’d probably break their hand, yet in these two’s hands, it was as simple as cutting paper?

Not only that, as Fang Zheng and the Black and White Bear combatants fought, they stirred up a lot of dust and debris, which floated through the air. Meanwhile, hiding at the back among others, the ”Literary Girl” Toko Fukawa, dressed in a simple sailor uniform and wearing glasses, also stared wide-eyed at the battle. Suddenly, a tickling sensation in her nose caused her to sneeze.

”Ha...ha-choo!”

The moment Toko Fukawa sneezed, a sharp laugh rang out.

”Hahahaha!! Ahahaha!!”

”Fukawa classmate?”

Hearing the sharp laughter, everyone turned their heads in surprise towards the sound. There, they saw that the once mundane, introverted Literary Girl had transformed completely; her tongue hung long like a hanged ghost, and her hands inexplicably held several sharp, gleaming scissors.

”Hahaha, what’s this scenario! A fight’s started, but isn’t it adorable, so cute I could just— ah, add me in! Not enough killing, never enough!!”

With laughter akin to a demonic mother, Toko Fukawa seemed transformed, dashing out from the crowd wielding scissors that glinted with cold light, slicing the Black and White Bear before her into pieces.

And so, with Fang Zheng leading the way, Sakura Oogami and the transformed Toko Fukawa launched into a frenzy of slaughter against the Black and White Bear Legion. The conflict resembled a territorial battle between beasts from different realms, full of roars and clashes.

The others could only stand aside, watching the intense and terrifying clash, unable to intervene. However...

As the Biker Gang member mentioned, human strength has limits. The first to fall back was the transformed Toko Fukawa; clearly, she had little stamina and quickly withdrew as the situation worsened. Not long after, Sakura Oogami also retreated; despite her bear-like ferocity, her stamina too was limited. Fang Zheng took this chance to cover them, guarding against any Black and White Bears attempting to exploit the situation for a sneak attack on the rear.

As for the Black and White Bears...

”Heh heh heh, is that it? Is it over already?”

Black and White Bears emerged one after another from behind the podium, surrounding the trio once more. Witnessing this, Toko Fukawa’s expression changed somewhat, while Sakura Oogami remained expressionless, simply tightening her fists. Fang Zheng—his face obscured by his helmet—left others unable to see his expression.

Yet, faced with the Black and White Bears encircling them again, Fang Zheng merely chuckled coldly.

”Is this all? Is that all you’ve got? Seems you’re not that impressive... Well then, prepare to embrace death!”

As his voice dropped, Fang Zheng suddenly raised the Pitch Black Greatsword high, flames erupting and illuminating the surroundings. In the wavering shadows, everyone was shocked to see a series of knights with the same armor as Fang Zheng and glowing red eyes rise from the shadows. They too held Dual Blades, coldly staring at the Black and White Bears before them.

Fang Zheng just scoffed, then snapped his fingers.

”Attack!”

In an instant, the Farron Undead Legion brandished their blades, launching an attack on the Black and White Bears once more.

Against the Farron Undead Legion, the Black and White Bear’s attack faltered; it was up against foes who once annihilated an entire nation to eradicate Chaos, a force that was a direct counter. Though the Black and White Bears resisted valiantly, ultimately, Fang Zheng alongside the Undead Legion swept them all away.

”Splat!”

The Pitch Black blade pierced the body of the Black and White Bear on the podium, pinning it to the wall. Yet, even then, the Black and White Bear showed no fear.

”Ohohoho, how delightful. Well then... until we meet again.”

With that, the Black and White Bear exploded with a roar, enveloping Fang Zheng in the blast. After a moment, as the smoke cleared, Fang Zheng still stood there, his armor unscathed, perfectly smooth.

”Escaped? Do you think you can run far?”

Fang Zheng glanced around, squinting his eyes. Then he snapped his fingers again, watching as the other Undead Knights disappeared into the dark shadows, the armor turning into flames, returning to Fang Zheng’s body.

Only at this point did the others nervously approach.

”So, Fang Zheng... what should we do now?”

Aoi Asahina looked at Fang Zheng cautiously and began to ask, but no one else spoke up either, even the rich second-generation Togami Byakuya remained silent.

”In any case, let’s try leaving here first.”

Who wants to play a death game here, isn’t going camping more fun?

Soon, everyone gathered once more in front of the sealed iron door. Fang Zheng first took out his personal terminal to scan the door, attempting to unlock it, however...

”Beep beep———!”

Seeing the ”Unable to Parse” message on the screen, Fang Zheng raised an eyebrow. This was not unexpected; the extent of chaos erosion in this world was too severe. It’s likely that even the encoding part itself carried certain chaotic traits, making it impossible to unlock with a personal terminal.

So then......

”Seal Breaker!”

Fang Zheng extended his hand, and soon, a spirit crystal magic wand that looked like a key appeared in his hand. Fang Zheng then gripped the Seal Breaker tightly, forcefully stabbed it toward the iron door in front, and gave a sharp twist.....it wouldn’t turn?

”Damn it!”

Fang Zheng attempted to twist the Seal Breaker again, but this spirit crystal creation, which claimed to ”open and seal everything,” was completely immobile, like a key stuck in a completely mismatched lock.

Could it be that...

Thinking of this, Fang Zheng’s face sank, and he once again summoned the pitch black greatsword, held it tightly in both hands, and stabbed fiercely at the iron door before him!

”Boom!!!”

The next moment, the earth shook and the mountains swayed.

Everyone was thrown to the ground by a tremor akin to a ninth-rank earthquake, and Fang Zheng quickly put away the greatsword, looking at the iron door in front of him. As expected, there was a shattered mark on the ground, but it was not enough to break the entire door.

”It really won’t work.”

Fang Zheng put away his greatsword, shook his head helplessly. It seemed just as he thought; this school was also a conceptual pillar of this world, possibly even the order core. In that case, force couldn’t be used.

”Fang Zheng-kun, why did you stop?”

Seeing Fang Zheng quietly putting away his greatsword, Asahina asked in confusion and then looked at the iron door.

”I think if you give it another couple of tries, you’ll be able to break open this iron door!”

”You’re right, but it’s not possible.”

Fang Zheng shook his head.

”Why not?”

At this time, Makoto Naegi also asked, and Fang Zheng thought for a moment, finding it too troublesome to explain concepts, order, and chaos to them.

”Let me put it this way: this iron door is effectively connected to a giant bomb. If we don’t open the door properly, it will completely blow up the entire planet. That’s about what it means, do you understand?”

”Eh?!”

”Really?”

”Are you kidding!!”

Hearing this, everyone was stunned.

”In any case, that’s pretty much the situation. It’s impossible to forcefully break our way out, at least not for me.”

Fang Zheng spread his hands and shook his head.

”Then is there another way?”

Makoto Naegi, evidently not giving up, continued to ask.

”Well, there is...”

Saying this, Fang Zheng glanced at the nearby ”clearly too cute to possibly be a girl” crossdresser.

”Fujisaki-kun, can you unlock the programming for this iron door?”

”Eh? Me?”

Faced with Fang Zheng’s question, Fujisaki was startled, fidgeting in unease.

”But if even you can’t do it, I......”

”It’s due to some rather special reasons why I can’t do it myself, or it would trigger the mechanism. So, I have to rely on you, for example......”

As he spoke, Fang Zheng gestured toward the other person’s pocket.

”I don’t have that thing.”

”Ah, you mean this student ID?”

Fujisaki, quick to catch on, immediately pulled out an electronic student ID from the pocket, and Fang Zheng nodded.

”That’s right, simply put, you’re the chosen ones, so you can do certain things, but I can’t.”

”So you’re not a student like us?”

”Strictly speaking, you can consider me a guard.”

Fang Zheng shrugged at Makoto Naegi.

”Because the guard mechanism was activated due to certain factors, that’s why I’m here. But aside from that, most of the time my access isn’t higher than yours. For example, attempting to destroy this building... you can give it a shot if you want, but I can’t, unless you want the ground beneath your feet to explode with a ’boom,’ just like that earthquake earlier.”

”Uh......”

Hearing this, everyone else was equally pale, unsure of what to do.

”So...... what should we do?”

”Before that, I need to tell you a few things.”

Fang Zheng didn’t answer Makoto Naegi’s question immediately but looked at the others.

Isn’t it just spoilers, instead of deducing anything, why bother deducing if you can just spoil it, right?

”First, you need to know one thing, and that is the outside world is now on the brink of destruction.”

”......Eh?”

Hearing this, everyone froze.
