Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1629: Chapter 1627: Private Property (Yawning, Rolling Over, and Going Back to Sleep)

[Task ”Idol Master” completed]

[Objective: Train a team to win the Platinum Idol Grand Prize (Completion status: C, this world transforms into Free World, no additional reward)]

”Phew......”

Looking at the system prompt in front of him and the excited girls on stage, Fang Zheng breathed a sigh of relief. After almost a year of effort, this troublesome thing was finally settled.

Fortunately, this world wasn’t entirely useless.

”Beep beep beep......”

At this moment, Fang Zheng’s phone suddenly rang. He picked up the phone, and Yukina’s voice came from the other end.

”Haruno, I have something I’d like your help with......”

”Hmm?”

Hearing Yukina’s words, Fang Zheng raised an eyebrow, then nodded.

”Hmm... Hmm hmm, I understand, okay, I’ll come over now.”

Putting down the phone, Fang Zheng yawned, then steadily walked backstage, reaching the door of Komizo Yukina’s dressing room. He reached out to knock on the door, then walked in directly.

In the lounge, Yukina was sitting on a chair, looking tense and uneasy. Seeing Fang Zheng, she quickly smiled and stood up happily.

”Haruno!”

”I’m here.”

Fang Zheng greeted Yukina.

”So you don’t want to do it anymore?”

”Yes......”

”Alright, I got it, pack up and go home, you’ve pouted long enough.”

”Wait, who are you?”

At this time, Producer Yamamoto, who was standing by, finally came back to his senses, and blocked Fang Zheng, glaring at him.

”Yukina is a contracted idol at Ogata Office! What do you want to do? I’ll call the police!”

”I don’t want to do it anymore, Miss Yamamoto.”

Perhaps because Fang Zheng was there, Yukina’s answer was obviously stronger this time.

”I love singing, but I don’t want to be an idol, especially considering what you’ve done to me... I don’t want to be an idol anymore. Although I owe Sister Yuki an apology, I’ve decided to retire and leave Ogata Office.”

”What are you talking about, Yukina!”

Upon hearing this, Producer Yamamoto’s eyes widened.

”Don’t forget, you’re breaching the contract, there’s a penalty fee to pay.”

”How much?”

However, before she could finish speaking, Fang Zheng impatiently interrupted her, which made Producer Yamamoto pause.

”Huh?”

”I asked, how much?”

Fang Zheng, being a producer at 765, naturally knew the situation regarding idol contracts. The girls under him also had penalty clauses, and Yukina had explained the situation earlier on the phone.

”Eighty million!”

”Oh, wow.”

Hearing this amount, Fang Zheng raised an eyebrow and looked at Yukina.

”Didn’t see that coming, Ogata Office really values you.”

After all, an 80-million-penalty fee isn’t something that just anyone can achieve.

While speaking, Fang Zheng reached into his coat and took out a check, scribbled a few lines, then tossed it forward.

”Alright, you can leave now.”

”Huh?”

Looking at the check that Fang Zheng tossed, Producer Yamamoto paused, then picked it up and glanced at it, her face bewildered, seemingly completely unaware of the current situation. But soon, she snapped back.

”W-wait, you can’t do this, Yukina is our office’s......”

”I told you to leave, didn’t you hear?”

Fang Zheng removed his glasses, staring coldly at her. Although Little Hei had not reported Yukina’s situation, Fang Zheng was still keeping an eye on it. He was well aware of the entertainment industry’s ways, having always protected his artists from trouble while he was a producer, so there was no chance he’d let Yukina get into trouble at another office.

But knowing that Little Hei and Illya were watching, Fang Zheng didn’t care too much, though this didn’t mean he was clueless.

”...Yes, yes......”

Being stared at by Fang Zheng, Producer Yamamoto felt a shiver run through her whole body, as if being watched by a predator, almost scaring her senseless. She quickly nodded and then obediently left the dressing room.

”Alright, change clothes and wait for me outside. After I pick up our three little ones, we’ll leave together.”

”Just, just like that...... it’s over?”

Yukina looked at the scene before her, dumbfounded, having no idea what to say. The issue that had troubled her for days, unable to sleep at night, was resolved by Fang Zheng with just a few words?

But soon, Yukina thought of another issue.

”But I can’t let you pay that eighty million, Haruno......”

”That eighty million isn’t a gift to you. Strictly speaking, it’s like I paid eighty million to buy you out from Ogata Office.”

Fang Zheng waved his hand, looking at Yukina.

”So now, you’re basically my private property, got it?”

”...........”

Hearing this, Yukina’s heart skipped a beat, and she blushed, looking down and nodding quietly.

”As expected, big brother had to step in.”

The Spiritualized Little Hei giggled.

”The domineering president type is quite handy.”

We’ll settle accounts when we get back.

Fang Zheng silently glanced in the direction of Illya and Little Hei, then turned and left the lounge. After a moment, Yukina, having changed clothes, also walked out of the lounge, obediently following behind Fang Zheng.

”HONEY!”

When Fang Zheng brought Yukina to the entrance, Haruka and the others were already waiting there. Seeing Fang Zheng appear, Meixi happily waved her hands and dashed over like an eager puppy.

”You finally came, how was it? Did Meixi do well?”

”Excellent, well done, congratulations on winning the Platinum Idol Grand Prize.”

Fang Zheng patted Meixi’s head, and she chuckled in response, while Yukina had mixed feelings seeing this.

It was supposed to be me first......

”Producer? Who is she......”

Just then, Haruka and Chihaya noticed Komizo Yukina standing behind Fang Zheng. Because Yukina was dressed very discreetly, they didn’t recognize her at first. Yukina stepped forward and politely introduced herself.

”Hello, nice to meet you, I’m Komizo Yukina......”

”Huh? Huh huh?”

Seeing the girl clearly, the three were all shocked.

”Why is Miss Yukina here? And with the producer?”

”Yukina has left Ogata Office and intends to retire.”

Fang Zheng casually mentioned, leaving the three girls stunned.

”W-why?”

Haruka couldn’t understand it. STARS had won the Platinum Idol Grand Prize, but Yukina was also noteworthy, winning the Best Single Singer of the Year. Haruka had secretly regarded Yukina as a rival, but didn’t expect her to quit?

An operation like this?

”Alright, let’s head back.”

Without waiting for Haruka to speak further, Fang Zheng waved his hand.

”There’s another important job to discuss with you tomorrow.”
