”You always come up with strange ideas that others would never think of.”

Hearing Seiryū’s words, Tsunade felt somewhat impressed.

This kid’s brain was truly different. He could always think of unusual possibilities.

Regarding this question, Tsunade thought for a moment and said uncertainly, ”I am not very clear about this either. Grandma Mito never mentioned such a situation to me.”

Could the Yin Seal store external chakra?

She truly did not know.

Mito, who taught her the Yin Seal, never brought it up.

After a pause, Tsunade said seriously, ”Of course, even if it can store external chakra, Tailed Beast chakra is absolutely not an option.”

”Tailed Beast chakra is extremely violent and corrosive. The Yin Seal stores chakra at the center of the forehead, which means the chakra must flow through the body.”

”The damage would not be any less than using Senjutsu chakra.”

After careful consideration, Tsunade realized that Seiryū’s idea might be feasible.

The Yin Seal was a sealing technique meant to store chakra. If it could store one’s own chakra, then storing external chakra might also be possible.

However, Tailed Beast chakra was definitely out of the question.

Its danger was no less than Senjutsu chakra.

In some ways, it might even be more dangerous.

”I see.”

Seiryū fell into thought.

Before reaching reconciliation with a Tailed Beast, its chakra was indeed dangerous.

When Kushina once entered a half Tailed Beast state, her chakra cloak had corrosive and high temperature properties.

If such chakra flowed through the meridians, the damage would indeed not be less than that caused by Senjutsu chakra.

However, if the Yin Seal could store external chakra, then there was room for manipulation.

As a transmigrator, Seiryū knew that this world had other powerful chakra sources besides Tailed Beasts.

The Dragon Vein was one of them.

Seeing him deep in thought, Tsunade guessed what he was considering and warned him seriously.

”It is only a possibility. No one has ever tried it before. Any outcome is possible.”

”You also need to consider that your own chakra and external chakra are different. Whether something unexpected might occur, no one knows.”

”I advise you not to experiment in that direction. Even if it succeeds, external chakra will never be as easy to control as your own. You might not even be able to use Ninjutsu properly.”

It was best not to attempt something so uncertain.

The risks were too high.

With Seiryū’s talent and Uzumaki constitution, once he was old enough to practice the Yin Seal, he would likely need only one or two years to accumulate enough chakra for use.

There was no need to take such risks.

”I understand. I will not joke with my own future.”

Seiryū naturally understood this reasoning.

He would only attempt it after fully researching it.

There was nothing wrong with exploring possibilities.

The pressure of the upcoming Third Shinobi World War was real.

Without sufficient strength to protect himself, he felt uneasy.

He did not expect to dominate the Ninja World when the war broke out, but at least he needed enough strength to survive.

It was unfortunate that the timeline of his transmigration was not ideal.

If it had been during the era of Naruto and Sasuke, he would have had much more time to grow.

Tsunade rubbed his head and said helplessly, ”I do not know what you are in such a hurry for. You are only nine years old. Having this level of strength already makes you a genius among geniuses.”

”You still have plenty of time. When I was your age, I probably did not even have half your strength.”

This kid seemed extremely eager to become stronger.

Because injuries would delay his training, he even developed a Medical Ninjutsu to treat himself.

What exactly was he so anxious about?

He was only nine years old. There was still plenty of time.

”In a hurry? Of course I am in a hurry to surpass you sooner and hang you up for a beating.”

Seiryū naturally would not mention that war was approaching.

Although there were signs of unrest in the Ninja World, there was still no decisive trigger for war. No one believed it would erupt so soon.

The reduction of the Ninja Academy’s curriculum from six years to three was only the Third Hokage’s precautionary preparation.

He glanced at Tsunade and curled his lips. ”And stop flattering yourself. Half? When you were nine, you probably did not even have one tenth of my strength.”

Tsunade’s mouth twitched. Her fist tightened as she sneered, ”Hehe, you seem quite brave. Get over here and take a beating.”

”Goodbye. I am going home.”

Seeing her anger rising, Seiryū dropped those words and ran off immediately.

He was not stupid. He had no intention of staying to get beaten.

A few days later, it was already August.

Although the hottest month had passed, the weather remained muggy.

At the Second Training Ground, Seiryū was sparring with Guy.

Bang, bang, bang.

The two exchanged blows in close combat, fists and kicks colliding with dull thuds echoing through the field.

After blocking one of Guy’s punches, Seiryū retaliated with a sweeping kick that forced him back. He did not continue attacking and instead smiled.

”Your taijutsu is getting sharper, Guy.”

It had been a while since they sparred, and Guy’s strength had indeed improved significantly.

Guy shook his bandaged arm and flashed a youthful grin. ”During recent missions, I fought quite a few bandits. My practical combat skills have improved a lot.”

Real combat was always the fastest way to grow stronger.

He had already seen blood.

”How many gates of the Eight Gates can you open now?”

”Still the Third Gate. With my current physical condition, I cannot open the Fourth Gate yet. But my father said that in about half a year, I should be able to open the Fourth Gate.”

”Then we will spar aGuyn after you open the Fourth Gate.”

”Alright.”

The two stopped fighting and agreed to spar aGuyn in the future.

Clap, clap, clap.

Watching from the side, Duy applauded with tears in his eyes.

He was moved by the youthful friendship between the two.

He gave them a thumbs up and said emotionally, ”Guy, Seiryū, you are both excellent. Growing stronger together, that is the true spirit of youth.”

”Father, I will continue to work hard.”

”Guy, I believe in you.”

”Father.”

Seeing the two suddenly embracing and crying, Seiryū felt a bit helpless.

He did not mind and instead turned to Duy. ”Duy-san, may I learn the Eight Gates from you?”
