Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

Near dinner time, Kurenai and Shizune were cooking.

”Are they back?”

In the living room, Seiryū heard the sound of the front door opening and turned his head.

He saw Tsunade walk in with a sour expression.

Seeing her face, Seiryū made a judgment in his heart.

This bad woman must have lost quite a bit this time.

Her face was as dark as the bottom of a pot.

”Why are you here, brat?”

As soon as she entered, Tsunade saw Seiryū sitting on the sofa in the living room.

Her mood was not good, and she snorted with a dark expression. ”It must be because you are in my house that my luck was affected, causing me to keep losing money.”

She knew it.

How could her luck be this bad?

It must be because Seiryū was here, affecting her gambling luck.

What a troublesome brat.

In any case, she would never admit that losing money while gambling was because of her own bad luck.

Hearing this, Seiryū looked confused. ”???”

How did he get blamed the moment they met?

Was there anyone who bullied people like this?

He was being wrongly accused.

”Are you crazy? What does that have to do with me?”

Seiryū curled his lips, too lazy to argue. An angry Tsunade was prone to hitting people.

So he comforted her without much sincerity. ”Look on the bright side. It is not the first time anyway. If you actually won money, that would be real trouble.”

Tsunade’s gambling luck was very mysterious.

Whenever she won money, something bad would happen.

Losing money was actually a good thing. It was just losing money.

If she won, maybe he, Tsunade’s disciple, would be kidnapped by an enemy village in a few days.

Yes, kidnapped right inside the very safe Konoha.

It was comparable to a causality weapon.

”Brat.”

Tsunade walked over and sat beside Seiryū, ruffling his hair to vent her frustration.

Seeing his annoyed expression, the irritation in her heart dissipated somewhat. Then she said, ”Didn’t I tell you to rest properly? Why are you running around again?”

”Stop messing up my hair.”

Seiryū glared at her, slapped away her hand, and said honestly, ”I have made some progress on the new Medical Ninjutsu I am developing. However, I cannot mobilize my chakra very well right now, so I need your help.”

”Oh, progress on the new Medical Ninjutsu.”

Tsunade responded casually.

”Huh? What did you say?”

As if she had just reacted, she suddenly widened her beautiful eyes and looked at Seiryū. ”Progress? You are not joking with me, are you?”

What did she just hear?

This kid already had progress on his new Medical Ninjutsu?

”What is there to joke about?”

Seiryū shrugged, looking unconcerned.

He said calmly, ”The medical books you gave me were not read for nothing. Besides, with a clear direction already set, it is normal for progress to be a little faster. There is no need to make a fuss.”

Tsunade stared at Seiryū, like a researcher examining a test subject.

She did not speak, her gaze filled with scrutiny.

Just how much of a genius was this kid?

He figured it out so quickly?

Or was his brain structure really different from ordinary people?

The thought she once suppressed about performing a craniotomy on Seiryū showed signs of resurfacing.

Being stared at like that, Seiryū could not help but shiver and subconsciously shift his position.

He said cautiously, ”Do not look at me like that. It is giving me the creeps.”

Tsunade continued staring at him for a few seconds until he felt uncomfortable.

Only then did she tuck a strand of blonde hair behind her ear and exhale. ”What help do you need? If you are just making fun of me, I will crack your head open.”

”I am not that idle.”

Seiryū felt extremely speechless, then continued, ”I just tried to treat myself, but my chakra pathways have not fully healed yet, so I cannot output chakra properly.”

Bang.

Before he could finish speaking, Tsunade flicked his forehead.

Her beautiful eyes carried a dangerous glint as she glared at the wincing Seiryū and scolded, ”You really have not taken my words to heart, have you? How many times have I warned you, and you agreed every time.”

”Now you are actually using Ninjutsu again? What if the injury worsens and leaves permanent damage?”

As expected, she could not let this kid out of her sight.

The moment he was left alone, he would do something reckless. She had said it more than once.

Seiryū’s teeth itched with frustration.

However, since she was concerned about him, he only explained, ”I am also a Medical Ninja. I know my own condition and have a sense of proportion. I will not act recklessly.”

But in his heart, he was secretly cursing.

When he becomes stronger in the future, he will definitely get his revenge.

”You say you have a sense of proportion?”

Tsunade was amused.

Someone who acted impulsively at every turn claimed to have a sense of proportion.

If it were not for Seiryū’s insistence, she would have wanted to keep him at her house.

Precisely to prevent him from doing something extreme again.

In the end, despite her repeated warnings, this kid still would not listen.

Not peaceful at all.

Seiryū remained silent.

What did that mean?

He truly had a sense of proportion and would not joke with his own life.

”Let us not talk about that.”

He did not want to continue this topic.

He brought up the reason for coming. ”I need your help to use chakra to reduce the burden on my chakra pathways. I tried just now, but because my chakra output was insufficient, the effect of this new technique did not meet my expectations.”

”I will scold you later.”

After flicking his forehead lightly again, Tsunade grew somewhat curious about the new Medical Ninjutsu he had developed. ”Come here. Let me check your condition.”

Seiryū nodded. ”Oh.”

Tsunade’s hands were covered in pale green medical chakra as she pressed them against Seiryū’s chest and began examining his injuries.

”There are no major changes compared to yesterday.”

At first, she did not find any difference from the previous day.

Until she examined his left arm, then she froze. ”Hmm?”

She looked at Seiryū in surprise. ”The chakra pathways in your left arm have almost completely recovered. Is this the effect of your new Medical Ninjutsu?”

The chakra pathways in his left arm had indeed almost recovered.

It was obvious that the place he tried earlier was his left arm.

However, this healing ability also made her, a top tier Medical Ninja, feel shocked.

Seiryū nodded slightly. ”Yes. It is an enhanced version of the Mystical Palm Technique. It can also be considered a version of the Creation Rebirth: Hundred Healings Technique that can be used on others.”

”Of course, according to my expectations, it cannot be as powerful as the Creation Rebirth: Hundred Healings Technique.”

”But it is definitely stronger than any Medical Ninjutsu I know.”

”Also, the effect of Kaidō is still not completely clear and requires more detailed testing.”

Just like Bakudō.

The way it manifests in this world is also different.

Sealing Techniques, sealing arrays, disruption techniques.

The Kaidō just now was only a brief attempt. Its specific effects have not been fully explored.

The way it manifests in this world, is it really just simple Medical Ninjutsu?

”Kaidō.”

Tsunade repeated the term and shook her head helplessly. ”Ninjutsu is Hadō, Sealing Techniques are Bakudō, and Medical Ninjutsu is Kaidō. Your naming style.”

”It really fits your usual style.”

”But why does this Kaidō not have a number prefix?”

This kid’s naming style was quite distinctive. Hadō, Bakudō, Kaidō.

It inexplicably sounded very high level.

It was just that she was a little curious.

Why did this Kaidō not have a number in front of it?
