Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

”Tsunade-sensei, hurry, hurry and go check on Seiryū. He, his current state is very wrong. I...”

”I’ve seen it once before.”

Seeing Tsunade appear, Kurenai hurried over.

Her delicate face was filled with worry and fear.

She had seen Seiryū like this once before.

It was when that ”Big Ryota” blocked them after school.

That scene had terrified her and left a deep impression on her heart.

Even now, she had not forgotten it.

And the current Seiryū was even more cruel and cold than before.

In just a few short minutes, he had slaughtered more than a hundred bandits.

This was too abnormal.

What if Seiryū could not change back?

This was something she absolutely did not want to see.

Shizune followed closely to Tsunade’s side, her eyes also filled with tension.

She said urgently, ”Tsunade-sama, the current Seiryū is really not right. He’s like a completely different person from his usual self, as if the stimulation of blood caused his personality to change.”

The scene that had just happened had also shocked her.

In daily life, although Seiryū was a bit unreliable, he had never shown such a cruel, bloodthirsty, and twisted expression.

It was as if he had become someone else.

And she noticed that this change began the moment Seiryū killed the first person.

The stimulation of blood caused his personality to change drastically.

This should also be Seiryū’s ”illness” acting up.

”You two stay here.”

Tsunade only said that to Kurenai and Shizune, but when she looked at Seiryū, the worry in her eyes was no less than theirs.

That crazy smile was almost identical to the one he had when he slit his own throat to cure her hemophobia.

No, it was even crazier.

This kid had gone to extremes again, and it was even more serious than last time.

Did the stimulation of blood trigger another personality?

How could this brat have such a troublesome illness? If he could not change back...

Thinking of this, Tsunade’s worry did not lessen. With a flicker, she appeared directly beside Seiryū.

Taking a deep breath, she spoke in a calm and concerned tone, ”Are you okay, kid?”

Hearing Tsunade’s voice, Seiryū tilted his head, licked his lips, and still smiling happily like a madman, said, ”What could possibly be wrong with me?”

He was fine. He just felt it was not enough.

”I just feel it wasn’t satisfying enough. These bandits were too weak. It would be better if they were stronger and more numerous.”

It really was not satisfying. These bandits were too weak.

They were easily killed before they could even block a single move from him.

If they were stronger and more numerous, would it not be more interesting?

This kind of combat was completely different from the exercises at the Ninja Academy. He was experiencing an unprecedented pleasure.

The thrill of battle, the thrill of killing.

Now that all the enemies were dead, he inexplicably felt unsatisfied.

”Not enough.”

Seiryū’s happy smile made Tsunade even more worried.

She pursed her lips and said, ”If it’s not enough, do you want to kill us?”

She had seen bloodthirsty people before.

It was also a kind of illness, a psychological disorder.

It was common among Ninjas who had experienced war or trauma.

In severe cases, they would kill without restraint, showing no mercy even to family, friends, lovers, or ordinary people.

Killing became a form of pleasure.

She was worried Seiryū would become that kind of person, someone controlled by the desire to kill.

The reason she decided to be Seiryū’s Jōnin Instructor and Sensei.

Was precisely to prevent this extreme behavior from escalating and causing irreparable consequences.

Yet after just one mission and seeing blood once.

Seiryū’s extreme state had already intensified.

”???”

Hearing Tsunade’s words, Seiryū gave her a strange look, and the happy smile on his face disappeared.

It turned into a confused expression. ”Why are you suddenly acting crazy?”

Seriously, what did she mean by that?

What did she mean by, if it’s not enough, do you want to kill us?

Was she a masochist?

Wait, masochists do not let people kill them.

They only feel pleasure from physical or psychological pain.

It does not mean they actually want to die.

So what was Tsunade trying to say?

Was she the crazy one?

”Phew.”

Hearing Seiryū’s reply and seeing him return to normal, Tsunade let out a long sigh.

Her heart finally relaxed a little.

Fortunately, although this brat went extreme again.

He was not consumed by the desire to kill and did not turn into someone who would attack his own.

But she was not sure if he could recover every time he entered such a state.

There was a huge risk.

Tsunade’s expression was serious as she asked gravely, ”Do you know what you just did, kid?”

Seiryū was stunned for a moment, his eyes turning strange as he looked at Tsunade as if she were sick. ”Nonsense. I was carrying out the mission. Wasn’t it the mission you assigned? Why are you acting so crazy?”

Everything had been fine just now. Why was this woman suddenly acting strange?

To actually ask such a pointless question.

The phrase big chest, no brain really should not be used to describe this bad woman Tsunade.

Tsunade:

This kid had really fully recovered.

Only the usual version of him could irritate her with just a few words.

It was as if the Seiryū who had just shown an excited, bloodthirsty, violent, and cruel expression was only her illusion.

How did he recover so quickly?

Tsunade suppressed the urge to knock him on the head and said slowly, ”Don’t you feel that you were not like your usual self just now?”

”Not like my usual self?”

Seiryū was slightly surprised and recalled his recent state.

Was there anything abnormal?

Maybe a little, but that was normal.

Seiryū smiled and waved his hand. ”A little, but that should be normal. It was my first time killing someone. For any first time, it is normal to be a bit nervous.”

”I’m not like that friend who kills often from those clickbait stories. It’s reasonable to act a little differently when nervous.”

Seiryū felt this was very reasonable.

No matter what the first time is, a person would feel nervous and flustered.

Showing a side that was different from usual was perfectly normal.

That feeling of satisfaction and excitement should just be a manifestation of nervousness.

Instead, Seiryū even felt a bit proud. ”But being able to kill for the first time and still stay calm, stand in a pile of corpses, and chat with you, my performance shouldn’t be considered bad, right?”

”Hehe, as expected of me, Konoha’s strongest genius.”

He did not disgrace his transmigrator predecessors.

The first time he killed someone, he did not tremble, turn pale, or vomit.

This performance should not be considered bad.

Truly as expected of him.
