Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

Looking at Seiryū’s bright smile, Tsunade pursed her lips, and the heartache in her eyes deepened.

Seiryū had made such a dangerous move for the safety of Kurenai and Shizune.

She did not believe for a second that Katsuyu had not told him about the dangers of Senjutsu Chakra.

It must have been his own insistence.

This kid’s personality was too extreme. He would disregard his own safety. Once, to cure her hemophobia, he even dared to slash his own carotid artery.

To keep Kurenai and Shizune out of danger, he was capable of such madness.

The more he acted this way, the more Tsunade felt heartache and guilt.

If she were stronger, she would not have given Kakuzu the chance to threaten the three of them.

Taking a deep breath, Tsunade continued using Medical Ninjutsu to treat him, biting her red lips as she scolded, ”You’re still laughing? Do you have any idea how serious damaged meridians are? If you were not from the Uzumaki Clan, you would probably be crippled by now.”

If an ordinary person had made such a reckless move,

they would likely have been crippled long ago.

Fortunately, Seiryū was from the Uzumaki Clan and possessed vitality far beyond that of a normal person.

Seiryū nodded. ”So that means it is not a big problem, right?”

His body really was somewhat special.

Awesome.

At this time, Kurenai and Shizune had also arrived.

After hearing Tsunade’s words, Kurenai looked extremely nervous. She hurriedly asked, her voice filled with anxiety and worry, ”Tsunade-sensei, is Seiryū’s injury very serious? Can it be cured?”

Shizune, as a Medical Ninja, understood how serious damaged meridians were, and her eyes were also filled with concern.

Tsunade frowned. ”This kind of injury is very troublesome. If it is not treated properly, this kid might not be able to continue being a shinobi in the future.”

With damaged pathway, Chakra cannot flow properly.

He would lose the most basic requirement to be a shinobi.

For any shinobi, this was unbearable.

”Is it really that serious? What should we do?”

Kurenai’s face turned pale, and tears almost fell.

”No way? It is that serious?”

Under Tsunade’s treatment, the warmth of Medical Ninjutsu gradually eased the pain in his body.

Hearing her words, Seiryū also felt a little nervous and quickly said, ”Bad woman, you have to do your best. My future is in your hands.”

”If you cannot cure it, I will rely on you for the rest of my life. You will have to protect me personally. That guy said I have a bounty of five million ryo on my head, so I will have to live cautiously from now on.”

Tsunade’s Medical Ninjutsu was extremely powerful.

She should not be unable to heal this kind of injury.

Do not mess this up, this is a new account.

”So you do know how to be afraid?”

Tsunade glared at him and snorted, her tone still heavy. ”Although my Medical Ninjutsu is not weak, I do not have absolute confidence that I can completely heal you. If there are lasting side effects.”

He would not be in life-threatening danger.

But she was not certain she could restore him fully.

If there were lasting side effects,

it would be very troublesome.

Seiryū looked at Tsunade seriously. ”I believe in you. You can definitely heal my injuries, and there will not be any side effects.”

If it could not be healed and left side effects, that would be a huge disaster.

He had to give Tsunade some confidence.

Tsunade pursed her lips.

Just how much trust did this kid have in her?

A strange feeling rose in her heart.

Ignoring her expression, Seiryū looked toward the place where Kakuzu had crashed earlier and narrowed his eyes. ”By the way, what about that guy I blasted away? Is he dead?”

Katsuyu also looked in that direction. After sensing carefully, she shook her head. ”He is not dead, but he has already left. You do not need to worry.”

”I am still too weak. I did not even manage to kill him.”

Seiryū thought to himself, ’Just as I expected.’

Is this Kakuzu a cockroach?

He is ridiculously hard to kill.

Should I find some time to figure out Wind Release: Rasenshuriken?

Next time I run into him, I will give him a surprise.

The immortal shinobi Kakuzu should be finished off by a Wind Release: Rasenshuriken.

Katsuyu looked at Seiryū blankly.

This little guy did not seem to have a clear understanding of his own strength.

You call this weak?

Do you not see how old you are?

This performance had already far exceeded what someone of his age should be capable of.

Afterward, Katsuyu looked at Tsunade and said apologetically, ”I am sorry, Tsunade-sama. Without your permission, I transferred Senjutsu Chakra to him, which caused him to suffer such serious injuries.”

Although the situation had been urgent and it was his own request, causing him to suffer such injuries, with the possibility of lasting side effects, still made her feel guilty.

Before Tsunade could speak, Seiryū laughed. ”If it were not for you, Lady Katsuyu, we would be in danger right now. Besides, it was my own request. You do not need to apologize.”

Tsunade also looked at Katsuyu and said slowly, ”I will not let anything happen to this kid. You do not need to feel guilty.”

Seeing both of them speak this way, Katsuyu could only nod. ”Alright. If you need my help, I will not refuse.”

With that, Katsuyu returned to Shikkotsu Forest.

”Let’s find a safe place to rest first. I need to give Seiryū a comprehensive treatment and examination before we return to Konoha.”

Tsunade looked at Seiryū, who was being supported by Kurenai.

His current condition was not suitable for walking.

She also needed a safe place to carry out a full examination and treatment.

”I will carry you. Get on.”

Tsunade walked in front of him, turned around, and crouched down, signaling for him to climb onto her back.

”Then I will not stand on ceremony.”

Seiryū truly could not walk. Even slight movement caused sharp pain inside his body.

With Kurenai’s support, he leaned onto Tsunade’s back.

His hands wrapped around her neck. The smooth and delicate touch of her skin brushed against his arms, and a faint fragrance lingered near his nose.

It stirred a strange feeling in his heart.

”Let’s go.”

Tsunade called out to Kurenai and Shizune, then began heading toward Konoha.

Kurenai and Shizune followed closely behind.

On the other side.

Kakuzu was leaping continuously through the forest.

At this moment, he looked extremely miserable. His body was charred in many places, his clothes were torn, and more than half of his hair had been burned away.

While moving at high speed, Kakuzu suddenly sensed something. His figure halted abruptly, and his expression changed drastically. ”Dammit.”

Sizzle, sizzle, sizzle.

From the stitched seams of his body, strands of black thread shot out, writhing like snakes.

Several joints in his right arm came apart, barely connected by the black threads.

This was a backlash caused by severe injuries and his inability to fully control Earth Grudge Fear.

If he could not stabilize it, he would die from its rampaging backlash.

Feeling the miserable state of his body, anger and killing intent filled Kakuzu’s heterochromatic eyes as he gritted his teeth.

”Remember this, Tsunade and that damned brat. Next time, I will definitely kill you all.”

Today’s encounter was the greatest humiliation of his life.

He had been toyed with by a brat and severely injured by him.

Four out of his five hearts had been destroyed.

In the end, he could only flee in disgrace.

When had the immortal shinobi Kakuzu ever suffered such humiliation?

This grudge, Kakuzu will remember it.
