”So, it is possible then?”

Hearing this, Seiryū’s eyes lit up, revealing a hint of eagerness.

If it was possible, he wanted to try it. This was a ’compulsion’ he had held onto for a long time.

There was a possibility he would want to try. His compulsion was stirring.

His expression clearly showed, ’I want to try this.’

Katsuyu fell silent for a moment.

She felt this little one was somewhat strange. That eager expression looked wrong no matter how she viewed it.

So she reminded him again, ”Ordinary people cannot use Chakra infused with natural energy. It is life threatening. With one mistake, you will turn into a puddle of slime.”

Those who once trained in Sage Mode at Shikkotsu Forest, if they failed, would turn into a puddle of slime and die miserably.

Because she was too kind to watch those ninjas die before her, she had already closed the passage connecting Shikkotsu Forest to the outside world.

”Slime? Turn into slime?”

Of course, Seiryū knew that recklessly absorbing natural energy was dangerous.

Mount Myōboku would turn one into a stone frog. Ryūchi Cave would result in being devoured. He did not expect Shikkotsu Forest to turn people into slime.

But this reminded him that Shikkotsu Forest indeed had a Sage Mode inheritance.

It was even possible that the First Hokage’s Sage Mode originated from Shikkotsu Forest.

As for Hashirama developing a Sage Mode unique to himself, that was clearly unlikely.

After all, even the Sage of Six Paths had to travel to Mount Myōboku to learn Sage Mode.

Using Sage Mode was not easy. Developing a unique Sage Mode was even more difficult.

Even Seiryū, a transmigrator with a cheat ability, did not believe he could accomplish that.

Katsuyu said patiently, ”I do not know what a slime is, but absorbing my Chakra is very dangerous. You should stop thinking about it.”

”I suppose you want to help Tsunade-sama, right? But Tsunade-sama does not need your help. She is very strong.”

”Staying in a safe place is what you should do the most.”

This little one probably wanted to go help.

He was reliable and not afraid of danger.

But there was no need. Tsunade, who had overcome her hemophobia, was very strong.

”Mhm.”

Seiryū nodded, appearing to take her advice seriously.

But his actions were the opposite. He said to Katsuyu, ”Katsuyu-sama, I entrust those two to you. I will go help.”

Katsuyu was stunned. ”Hey, did you even hear what I said, little one?”

Did this child have hearing problems, or perhaps something wrong with his mind?

Could he not understand her words?

She emphasized again in a serious tone, ”Tsunade-sama does not need help. If you go, you will only distract her.”

Seiryū waved his hand casually. ”Do not worry. Do not judge me by my age. I am very strong. If I cannot win head on, I can always launch a sneak attack.”

His gaze fell on Kakuzu below, and a faint, almost manic smile appeared at the corner of his mouth. ”Besides, they have already bullied us at our doorstep. I will not stand by and watch. Even if I cannot defeat him, I must teach him a painful lesson.”

”I am a man. How can I hide behind a woman for protection?”

If he did not make Kakuzu suffer, he would not be able to swallow this anger.

Damn it, he even targeted us.

It was also for the sake of completing this mission. Only by taking action would there be a chance to complete it.

As for testing the Kido incantation, that was secondary.

Kurenai ran over and grabbed Seiryū’s hand nervously. ”Seiryū, do not go. It is too dangerous.”

Shizune also stepped forward. After calming down, she was no longer as panicked.

She also felt it was inappropriate for Seiryū to help. ”Seiryū, Katsuyu-sama is right. This is not a battle we can participate in. If you go, you will only distract Tsunade-sama.”

A battle of this level was beyond their involvement.

It was too dangerous.

They could not let Seiryū take such a risk.

Seiryū rubbed Kurenai’s head and comforted her. ”Do not worry. I will not joke with my life. I will not clash head on. I will only look for an opportunity to launch a sneak attack.”

”I recently developed a few powerful techniques that might be useful.”

He looked at Katsuyu’s long eyes and said clearly, ”Moreover, as far as I know, Summoning Jutsu has a time limit. If that woman cannot defeat the opponent quickly and it turns into a prolonged battle.”

”If Katsuyu-sama is forced to cancel the Summoning Jutsu, we will be in even greater danger.”

”More importantly, that guy is clearly an experienced Shinobi. If he realizes he cannot win quickly, he will not keep fighting her. He will shift his target to us.”

As far as Seiryū knew, Summoning Jutsu had a time limit.

Although the summoned creature could maintain itself for a while, how long it could last was uncertain.

He did not dare gamble on that duration.

What if Kakuzu chose to stall, or suddenly shifted his target to them to restrain Tsunade?

Would their situation not become even more dangerous?

Tsunade’s fighting style made it difficult for her to defend against large scale attacks.

Coincidentally, Kakuzu excelled at such techniques.

Fighting him while protecting them would stretch her thin.

Kurenai bit her lip. ”But.”

Seiryū looked into her eyes and said seriously, ”I am not being arrogant. I know my own strength. I will not take excessive risks.”

Kurenai pursed her lips, feeling distressed. It was because she was too weak, only capable of being a burden.

Hearing this, Katsuyu glanced at Seiryū and said, ”Your thinking is quite sharp, little one. From that perspective, the current situation is indeed troublesome.”

Summoning Jutsu did have a time limit. Even if the summoned creature could extend it somewhat.

It could not last forever.

If she were attacked and injured, the duration would shorten, causing the Summoning to end earlier.

If what the boy described truly happened, it would indeed be troublesome. They might all die here.

Seiryū revealed a confident smile, and a trace of excitement flashed in his eyes. ”Katsuyu-sama, I entrust those two to you. I will be fine.”

Fighting a Kage level expert.

This would definitely be valuable experience.

Seiryū felt an inexplicable excitement. He wanted to fight a true powerhouse.
