Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

Listening to Tsunade’s words, Seiryū’s face was full of question marks.

Good grief, she was really good at overthinking.

However, Seiryū also muttered to himself inwardly.

Is there a possibility that I really am a member of the Uzumaki Clan, one with a special constitution like Karin and her mother?

Could it be that I truly have Uzumaki blood?

On this point, others might have already confirmed that he belonged to the Uzumaki Clan.

But Seiryū knew clearly that coincidence played a much larger role.

In fact, he himself could not make an accurate judgment.

Unless one day he could learn the Adamantine Sealing Chains, a sealing technique exclusive to the Uzumaki Clan.

Only then could it be truly confirmed.

But now, it seemed there was something to it.

If I really am a special Uzumaki like Karin and her mother, then my previous assumptions about the factors and conditions required to replicate Kaidō in this world might not be as simple as just Medical Ninjutsu.

Are there other factors?

”Within the Uzumaki Clan, does such a special person still exist?”

Seiryū began to act curious and asked, ”Is my Kaidō producing such a powerful effect because of my special nature?”

After obtaining Kaidō and understanding its principles and application, Seiryū had already judged that its effect shared similarities with the healing constitution of Karin and her mother.

Now that he had actually performed it, that sense of familiarity was even stronger.

Perhaps this was the real factor that allowed Kaidō to be replicated.

”It is possible.”

Tsunade snapped out of her thoughts.

Looking at Seiryū, her eyes were filled with curiosity. ”But what puzzles me is, how did you manage to perform this special condition in the form of Medical Ninjutsu?”

That was what confused her.

She had never heard from Mito that such a special constitution could be expressed through Medical Ninjutsu.

Seiryū was silent for two seconds before replying speechlessly, ”Nonsense. This technique was developed by me based on my own assumptions. How else do you think I performed it?”

”Uh.”

Tsunade was stunned for a moment.

Then she smacked Seiryū and said irritably, ”Of course I know you developed it. But what are the principles behind it? Have you figured out why this happens?”

Why did this happen?

That was the key.

”I am not sure either. I just followed a general direction and the assumptions in my mind to develop a new type of Medical Ninjutsu.”

”I also said before that I am not very clear about the specific effects of Kaidō.”

Seiryū waved his hand casually. ”I also find it strange. The development process of this new Medical Ninjutsu went very smoothly, and I did not encounter any difficulties.”

”That is why it was completed in less than a month.”

This was naturally a lie.

Kidō that met the necessary conditions could be performed smoothly.

Development was just an excuse.

Seiryū had always been concealing his true capabilities, only occasionally revealing one or two new techniques so as not to appear too much like a genius.

Developing a new Medical Ninjutsu in one month was already shocking enough.

Even Tsunade had thoughts of dissecting him.

This was a good opportunity to cover it up.

”Even you are not sure?”

Tsunade fell into deep thought again, who knew what she was overanalyzing this time.

Her eyes flashed as she said hesitantly, ”I suppose it must be a combination of your special constitution and your extraordinary talent that allowed Kaidō to be born by chance.”

In the Ninja World, many Ninjutsu were created by accident.

This was not unusual.

She reached her conclusion.

Seiryū’s Kaidō was probably the result of a fortunate coincidence.

Because of his special constitution and powerful talent, he was able to successfully develop and perfect the Medical Ninjutsu called Kaidō.

Case closed.

As expected, even a genius had limits.

This explanation was the only reasonable one.

Otherwise, developing a new Medical Ninjutsu in less than a month and having such powerful effects would be too outrageous.

If Seiryū’s talent was truly that terrifying, she would suspect he was not human at all, but a Sage like the Sage of Six Paths.

”So that is how it is. No wonder the development process of this new technique was much simpler than I imagined. Reasonable, it is too reasonable.”

Seiryū nodded quickly.

This explanation was indeed much more reasonable.

As expected, people tended to overthink things themselves.

Look at how reasonable this was.

He could not have come up with such a reasonable explanation on his own.

Of course, such a possibility might actually exist.

Tsunade glanced sideways at Seiryū.

Since when did this kid become so modest?

She did not dwell on it and said, ”Can you teach me this technique? I want to see if I can learn it. I also carry Uzumaki blood, and I am a Medical Ninja. Perhaps I can learn it.”

”As an exchange, I can teach you the Yin Seal in advance. Have you not always wanted to learn the Yin Seal?”

She had developed a strong interest in Kaidō.

Although it might be a Medical Ninjutsu born by chance, from its effects, it clearly had similarities to her Creation Rebirth: Hundred Healings Technique.

And it was a Creation Rebirth: Hundred Healings Technique that could be used on others.

Could she learn it?

”You have quite the nerve. I already developed a new Medical Ninjutsu, which means you lost the bet. You have not forgotten, have you? Teaching me the Yin Seal in advance was also part of the bet.”

Seiryū narrowed his eyes and reminded her.

At the same time, he was also curious.

Could others perform the Kidō he replicated in this world?

Hearing this, Tsunade’s expression stiffened briefly.

Right, she still had that bet with him.

Judging by the result, she had lost.

But after only a moment of hesitation, Tsunade regained her confidence. ”What exactly was the bet between us?”

”Do not even think about going back on your word.”

Seiryū stared at her. ”If you lost, you would wash my feet, and you would also teach me the Yin Seal in advance.”

Tsunade burst into laughter. ”Well, it is true that I will teach you the Yin Seal in advance, but I never said I would wash your feet.”

”The bet between us was about washing someone’s feet. My meaning was, if you lose, the punishment is that you wash my feet. If you win, the reward is that you wash my feet. That was the real bet.”

She had already dug a pit and was waiting for Seiryū to fall into it.

No matter whether she won or lost, she would not suffer.

After all, she was the Sensei and the Jōnin Instructor.

Was handling Seiryū not easy?

Seiryū was stunned.

What a shameless woman.

She was actually playing word games with him.
