With a cold smirk on his lips, Seiryū patted Katsuyu’s long eye.

”Katsuyu-sama, quickly transfer some of that bad woman Tsunade’s Chakra to me. I have consumed too much Chakra and do not have enough left to use Ninjutsu.”

Eighty to ninety percent of the Chakra in Seiryū’s body had been used up and needed replenishment.

This was where Katsuyu’s ability became useful, since she could transfer Tsunade’s Chakra to him.

Seiryū had calculated almost everything.

”Mm.”

Although Katsuyu could not see him, she could sense him.

Since Seiryū was standing on her head, she naturally knew he had returned.

However, she shook her head. ”I cannot do it right now.”

Seiryū was stunned. ”You cannot? Did you not say it would work as long as that bad woman cooperated?”

Katsuyu explained softly, ”Tsunade-sama left too quickly and did not take any of my clones with her. To transfer Chakra, one of my clones must serve as a relay.”

Seiryū froze.

Tsunade did not have a Katsuyu clone on her.

This was a fatal mistake at a critical moment.

Cold sweat appeared on Seiryū’s forehead.

He had not expected such a development.

”Wait.”

His eyes flashed as he thought of another method. ”Katsuyu-sama, your Chakra. Transfer your Chakra to me.”

There was still a chance.

Katsuyu’s Senjutsu Chakra.

Katsuyu hesitated. ”But.”

Seiryū looked at Kakuzu drawing closer. There was no time. ”No more hesitation. Even if it is dangerous, we must try. Otherwise we are finished.”

Using Senjutsu Chakra rashly was indeed dangerous.

He had intended to test it later under safer conditions.

But now there was no time.

If he delayed any longer, it would be too late.

Katsuyu fell silent.

Those who did not understand Senjutsu could not use Senjutsu Chakra containing natural energy.

It was extremely dangerous.

But seeing Seiryū’s determined expression and Kakuzu approaching, she finally decided.

”Senjutsu Chakra is very dangerous. Do not let it remain in your body for too long. That will reduce the risk.”

Anyone who had not mastered Senjutsu risked their life by using it.

One mistake and he would melt into slime.

However, if the natural energy did not remain in his body for long, the danger could be greatly reduced.

The risk remained.

But it was not certain death.

”I understand.”

Seiryū nodded seriously.

He had to take it seriously.

Even Uchiha Madara had prepared himself mentally before absorbing the First Hokage’s Senjutsu Chakra.

Although Madara later dismissed it as manageable, it still showed that Senjutsu was initially troublesome even to him.

Perhaps it was because Madara had the First Hokage’s cells or some understanding of Senjutsu that he did not suffer backlash.

Buzz, buzz.

A Chakra that was both gentle and violent flowed into Seiryū’s body from his feet.

His spirit jolted instantly.

So this was Senjutsu Chakra. It was indeed far stronger than ordinary Chakra.

The previously depleted Chakra in his body was replenished.

He felt far stronger than before.

But in the next moment, Seiryū frowned.

A swelling sensation spread through his body, and his chakra pathway burned painfully.

It felt as if they were being corroded.

Not only his chakra pathway, even his body began to show abnormalities.

This felt similar to Orochimaru’s Cursed Seal. The principle was the same. Without proper control of natural energy, massive side effects would occur.

Looking at his gradually swelling arm and the viscous liquid seeping from his pores, Seiryū muttered.

After Katsuyu’s Chakra entered his body, he could mobilize it.

But he could not stabilize it.

He could use it to perform Ninjutsu, but he could not stop the erosion.

Senjutsu Chakra was a balanced mixture of natural energy, Physical Energy, and Spiritual Energy.

When unstable, they separated again.

Physical Energy and Spiritual Energy were harmless.

Natural energy was not.

When it could not be controlled, the harm manifested.

Right now, his body was being eroded.

The natural energy of Shikkotsu Forest did not turn people into stone like Mount Myōboku.

It melted them into slime.

As expected, controlling natural energy was not simple.

Even with his Chakra control, he could not stabilize it.

He would have to research it later.

Only two seconds had passed.

He could not delay any longer.

The burning pain was intense.

He began to test his hypothesis.

Looking at Kakuzu who had already leaped into the air toward Katsuyu, Seiryū exhaled slowly.

He formed a hand seal and whispered, ”Carriage of thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six.”

As the incantation was spoken, the unstable Senjutsu Chakra became controllable.

Seiryū’s eyes lit up.

His hypothesis was correct.

Senjutsu Chakra was indeed a condition for Kido incantations.

Suppressing his excitement, he pointed forward.

”Bakudō #61: Rikujōkōrō.”

Six beams of light appeared and pierced into Kakuzu, freezing him in midair.

”Damn it.”

Kakuzu’s expression changed.

Rage surged even more.

That brat had said his Chakra was exhausted.

He had lied.

Too insidious.

And this sealing technique felt even stronger.

It pinned him in midair and made his Chakra sluggish.

”Scattered bones of the beast. Spire, crimson crystal, wheel of steel. Move and become the wind, stop and become the sky. The sound of clashing spears fills the empty castle. Hadō #63: Raikōhō.”

Seiryū’s incantation accelerated.

The Senjutsu Chakra boiled as he released it all at once, amplifying Raikōhō.

Crack.

A thicker pillar of lightning tore through the air toward Kakuzu.

The thunder roared across the sky.

”Damn brat. You think this can kill me. Dream on.”

Kakuzu roared and forced his black tentacles to tear apart the sealing beams.

The sluggishness vanished.

The lightning pillar was already before him.

He quickly formed hand seals. The two remaining masks spat out fire and lightning.

”Combined Technique: Lightning Explosion.”

Boom.
