Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Both of them realized this, so they didn’t ask Li Yu what task he was going to assign them, and directly agreed.

Li Yu saw them agree, nodded with satisfaction, and then said, ”Tomorrow, you will follow Old Qin and my Third Uncle to Guang Province to find a steel factory and transport some steel back. This time I will give you ten heavy trucks, and at that time you will follow my Third Uncle’s orders to transport the steel back.”

When they heard this task, especially knowing that Li Yu’s Third Uncle would lead the team, their eyes showed more anticipation.

They had also heard some rumors about Third Uncle, and had seen Third Uncle’s great might before, so they deeply admired him.

”Got it.”

”Okay.”

Li Yu stepped forward, patted their shoulders, and said softly, ”Do a good job, don’t let me down.”

”Yes, Director Li!” The two felt Li Yu’s warmth and encouragement, and with hot heads, responded loudly.

Li Yu nodded and said to He Chao behind them, ”Alright, take them down, get ready, and hand over the ten trucks to them.”

He Chao said, ”Okay, you two, follow me down.”

Zhu Xiao and the two bid farewell to Li Yu and followed He Chao down the wall.

Actually, Li Yu also considered letting Zuo Ruxue and the others go, but since they are all women, with less strength, and most of them don’t drive, he let Zhu Xiao take the lead.

Ten heavy trucks, each fully loaded can carry 50 tons, to be safe, loaded with 40 tons.

If this trip goes smoothly, they can bring back 400 tons of steel, enough for a period of time to build the Third Outer City.

The base currently has more than 200 tons of steel, so construction of the Third Outer City can also begin simultaneously.

After the two left, Second Uncle came over to Li Yu and said, ”Xiao Yu, the other extra staff and cooperative personnel, can they start going out on missions now?”

Li Yu nodded and said, ”They can, let them know later. The Third Outer City can start being constructed.”

”Alright, I’ll tell them now,” Second Uncle said, then turned and left.

Li Yu looked at the land outside the wall, which will be the site of the Third Outer City in the future.

........

After He Chao took Zhu Xiao and Guo Peng down, he said to them, ”Hurry back and pack up, later I’ll bring the heavy trucks over to hand them to you.”

”Okay, thank you,” the two said to He Chao.

Returning to the greenhouse, Xiao Hu and Zuo Ruxue immediately surrounded them.

”Butcher, what did He Chao call you over for? Tell us,” Xiao Hu asked curiously.

Zhu Xiao, who had a good relationship with Xiao Hu, knew Li Yu specifically called them up, likely not wanting everyone to know.

Besides, it wasn’t suitable to talk about.

So Zhu Xiao mysteriously said, ”This is a secret for now.”

Xiao Hu looked at him with eyes full of questions, though curious, he didn’t feel comfortable pressing for answers since Zhu Xiao didn’t want to talk.

So he didn’t ask further.

But everyone looked at them with envy, as being specifically called up usually meant a special task.

And these special tasks were the easiest way to earn points.

They wanted such an opportunity too.

Meanwhile, Zhu Xiao and the others, Third Uncle also found Old Qin to discuss the mission for tomorrow.

Outer City residential area.

Third Uncle threw a pack of cigarettes to Old Qin and said, ”Old Qin, come with me tomorrow for a mission.”

Old Qin happily took the pack, didn’t ask about the task or return time, just opened the pack, lit a cigarette, and asked Third Uncle, ”Should I bring a sniper rifle?”

Third Uncle thought for a moment and said, ”Choose your weapons. Tell me what you need, and I’ll bring them tomorrow.”

Old Qin habitually said, ”A sniper rifle, two handguns, 1000 rounds, bullet-proof vest... ”

Third Uncle nodded slightly and said, ”Then it will be the same set you frequently use before. I’ll bring it tomorrow.”

After speaking, Third Uncle left.

Old Qin didn’t ask about the specific task, and Third Uncle didn’t say.

Old Qin’s trust in Third Uncle had reached a level where no consideration was needed.

Their backs were completely safe with each other, without any worry.

.....

In the Outer City.

Second Uncle asked Guo Peng to gather all the extra staff and cooperative personnel.

And he told them they could now leave the base for missions, giving each group a walkie-talkie, instructing them to report any strangers or suspicious people they encounter, there’s a reward for useful information.

People received the walkie-talkies and lined up to reclaim their vehicles and weapons they surrendered upon arriving.

Fortunately, they came to the Big Camphor Tree Base, otherwise, their vehicles would be unusable now.

Dapao, Li Tie, and others stood atop the wall, holding firearms, overlooking below.

While He Bing, Lao Zhou, and others returned the weapons and car keys to the extra staff and cooperative personnel, one group at a time.

Zuo Ruxue looked at the wrinkled piece of paper in her hand, with new handwriting on it detailing the new exchange tasks recently issued by the base.
