Nanzhuang Town, located at the southwest corner of Fushi.

Because of the military zone, the population around here is not as large as other towns, but it is still part of Fushi.

Gunfire, earth-shattering.

The noise was so loud that zombies several kilometers away heard it and ran over.

Li Yu and his group didn’t see this, and even if they did, they were too busy to care.

Looking at the tanks behind him, a vacuum zone had formed, devoid of zombies.

And in the other four directions, their dozens of people were firing to repel the zombies.

It was intense.

Li Yu tilted his head and shouted into the microphone clipped to his collar: ”Zhou, Luo, hurry up and drive the tank away.”

Luo, who was blocking zombies behind him, turned and saw that Li Yu’s group had reached that position, he immediately turned around and said to Xiao Ding and Xiao Liu with him: ”Go, quickly drive the tank away.”

On the other side, Zhou also led four or five people running in that direction.

Others were repelling zombies in all four directions, securing their safety.

Amidst the gunfire, even more zombies were drawn towards them.

.....

Xie Weishan and his group, driving three vehicles, hurried over.

Fang Tong looked in the direction of Li Yu’s group and said to Xie Weishan: ”We have to hurry, it needs to be a quick battle, our cars are not as good as theirs, if we get stuck in there, we’re done for.”

Xie Weishan understood and nodded, saying, ”I know, let’s go. Stop talking. Go.”

...

Li Yu and the others stood on the roof of the vehicle, their eyes bloodshot.

Suddenly, they saw several unfamiliar vehicles appear at the head of the bridge.

So, into the microphone, he shouted loudly: ”Something’s up, someone’s coming. They’re coming from the bridgehead.”

Everyone was startled.

They all looked towards the direction of the bridgehead.

However, Zhou and Luo on the ground couldn’t see the vehicles due to the zombies blocking their view.

Li Yu continued to shoot while watching the three vehicles, which he noticed weren’t heading their way but were driving to the right.

He couldn’t help but feel puzzled; a presence at this hour was definitely up to no good.

So he continued: ”Those cars went to the right, Luo, you’re familiar with this area, do you know what’s on the right?”

At this moment, Luo had just climbed onto the tank, lifted the hatch, and was startled to find three zombies inside.

He was taken aback, not hearing Li Yu’s words.

He quickly opened fire, until he was sure the zombies were dead, then climbed back down.

After he climbed down, Xiao Ding, who had been following him, also came down.

Xiao Ding reminded him: ”Team Luo, Director Li just said people have come and gone towards the right side of Nanzhuang Town, he asked you what’s on the right?”

Luo checked the tank’s instruments, the remaining fuel.

While recalling what was in that direction.

In a flash, he remembered.

He had been there in Nanzhuang Town before.

To the right was mainly military hardware.

Excitedly clutching the microphone, he said: ”Guns, there are guns. They might have gotten here before us, but maybe due to the sheer number of zombies, they didn’t dare move.

Now, capitalizing on our distraction of the zombies, they’re taking military hardware on that side.”

Li Yu, upon hearing this, felt a heavy heart.

They were struggling to fight off zombies, while the others took the opportunity to seize military hardware.

With this thought, Li Yu began to get angry.

He muttered resentfully: ”Alright.”

He glared in that direction, calculating in his mind.

After Luo and his team entered the tank, Zhou and the others also successfully got into the armored vehicles.

After careful examination of the tank, Luo found that there wasn’t much diesel left.

So he said to Li Yu: ”We’re out of diesel, Director Li, get some diesel over here.”

Li Yu turned back and said to Li Tie next to him: ”Didn’t we bring a lot of diesel when we came? Take someone and refuel them.”

Li Tie turned his head, got off the vehicle, and connected a hose to refuel the tank.

The other two armored vehicles faced the same situation.

Amid the roaring, they fought against time.

There were too many zombies, bullet casings had piled up into small hills.

Finally, after eight minutes.

They had finished refueling, and Luo tried to start the engine.

Boom—

The tank started, and after checking a few more times, the other vehicles also started their engines.

Luo, sitting in the driver’s seat of the tank, said to Li Yu: ”Director Li, I’m ready here, ready to leave anytime.”

Li Yu looked back and then said to the others: ”What about the others?”

The crew of the other vehicles replied one after another that their vehicles were fine.

Li Yu looked at the zombie corpses piled up more than a meter high, turned and said to Dapao and the others: ”Let’s go, let’s leave here quickly.”

Dapao and the others quickly collected the hand grenades and weapons scattered on the ground, and got back into the vehicle.

This battle, in just under ten minutes, had consumed thousands of their bullets.

Most of the loaded magazines were now empty.

”Go!”

Li Yu shouted over the microphone.

Dapao, operating the loader, the meat grinder at the front, was clogged with zombie bodies because the loader hadn’t moved, forming clumps of flesh and blood.

With the loader reversing, those small-hill-like bodies of zombies rolled onto the cleared ground behind it.

Dapao, driving the loader, shook the shovel arm up and down.

The grinder itself was modified on the shovel, so it could shake up and down, and with the shaking, the bodies of the zombies originally stuck in the grinder fell from the sky one after another.
