Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Chapter 602: Chapter 518: A Person in Zombie’s Skin?_3

Li Yu said with a wry smile, ”There are far more zombies in this hospital than we originally anticipated. It took us over an hour just to clear them out. We are only starting to prepare to move the equipment onto the vehicles now.”

”Alright, Director Li, we’ll come over to help you guys once we finish up here.”

...

Most of the zombies in the hospital were dressed in white lab coats, nurse uniforms, or patient gowns.

Walking through this hospital always feels eerie.

If it were before the apocalypse, it would not have been a big deal with many people around.

Now, in the apocalypse, walking in this hospital always feels chilling to the bone.

Li Tie and the others drove the vehicles to the entrance of the building, and brought down the small carts.

They began moving equipment, prioritizing items on the list, as there were simply too many types of equipment in the hospital.

If they were to move everything, it would take no less than a hundred vehicles to do so.

Most of the equipment at the base were basic and they had them.

As for the medicine, they took it all. After all, it didn’t occupy much space.

Most Western medicines have a shelf life of two years, with some lasting three or four years.

Many of the medicines in the hospital have newer production dates due to high demand.

The apocalypse has only broken out for a little over a year, so many of the medicines are still within their expiration dates.

Even for some medicines that are past their expiration date, they would still use them in the apocalypse.

Better to have them than not.

After a long time, the thirty people finally managed to move all the items on the list, and basically everything available from First Hospital, onto the vehicles.

Some remaining items were also placed on the first floor.

They had no choice, as it was getting darker.

The roars of the zombies were incessant near the hospital.

Li Yu then told everyone to drive the vehicles to the residence building.

Just as he was about to notify Dapao in the outpatient building to come back, he heard Dapao’s voice: ”Brother Yu, I saw a zombie outside that looks a bit different, somewhat like a human. But he’s in the midst of the zombie crowd.”

”What?” Li Yu exclaimed in shock.

”Take a closer look,” said Li Yu.

Dapao, holding the telescope, observed the person, or zombie, in the street outside the hospital within the throng of zombies.

After a while, he noticed this moving ”zombie” shake the piece of clothing it wore on the outside, which was covered in zombie tissue and offal.

The zombies around him immediately surrounded him.

The ”zombie” then stopped moving and just stood still.

Dapao quickly conveyed this discovery to Li Yu.

A cold light flashed in Li Yu’s eyes at this maneuver.

Even in the five years following his rebirth, he had rarely seen anyone do this.

He was certain that this was definitely a human!

They smeared zombie fluids and mixed soil on the surface of their clothing to mask their scent.

Then they would also need to use disguise on their face.

However, this method was hit or miss. Sometimes, when surrounded by zombies or breaking through a Zombie Tide, this method might occasionally work, but most of the time, they would be discovered by the zombies.

Once discovered, the surrounding zombies would devour him without leaving a single bone.

Very few dared to attempt this method.

Not to mention the high risk, even the psychological pressure it entailed was not something an ordinary person could withstand.

”What should we do?” Dapao asked.
