Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Chapter 614: Chapter 523: Ambush the Corpse Speaker_2

However, Li Yu now had a better method that would use more weapons but would be safer for them.

So the plan was changed on short notice, and orders were passed down:

”Yang Tianlong, you continue to observe from that side. Once they have all entered the encirclement, you still execute the blockade.

Everyone on this side of the hill, take off all the hand grenades on you, keep two each, throw all the rest down.

I’ll fire a warning shot later, and you throw down the hand grenades.

Dapao on the restaurant rooftop, you still follow the original plan, sniping the enemy’s drivers.

Luo, later you must make full use of the rocket launcher, understand?”

”Understood,” Luo replied crisply.

The others also replied:

”Received.”

”Received.”

”Received.”

....

Every one of them carried at least 8 hand grenades for this outing.

On this side of the small hill, with nearly 20 people, spread three to five meters apart, they could just cover the twenty vehicles.

Over a hundred hand grenades thrown down in a short time would likely be very effective.

Li Yu thought so.

Rumble~

The roaring of vehicles was getting closer.

Yang Tianlong was strictly watching the enemy and continuously reporting their positions:

”A hundred meters left.”

”Fifty meters.”

”They have just passed our side, driving toward you.”

”Be careful, I see most of them are armed.”

”Their convoy has already reached halfway. It should take less than 20 seconds to reach Luo.”

Upon seeing this, Yang Tianlong immediately instructed the men waiting under the tree to be ready to drive over and block the enemy’s retreat at any moment.

Yang Tianlong’s reports gave Li Yu complete control over the battlefield.

Clang clang~

The vehicles had entered their area, and Li Yu and his men watched the enemy below the hillside, not daring to even breath too heavily, fearful of startling the enemy below.

Luo and others also felt some excitement.

Everything happening now felt like something out of a dream.

It was like those old TV shows they had seen, where ambush battles were common.

Thoughts flew by; in just a short time, they had already thought a lot and could not afford any distractions.

...

In Ma Jun and his group’s vehicle.

Ma Jun was comfortably sitting in his seat, with one of his subordinates noticing Ma Jun felt hot because Ma Jun was a bit overweight and therefore prone to heat.

The subordinate was fanning Ma Jun with a large card.

Ma Jun was very pleased, smiling and saying to the person:

”For the third team behind us, you will be the captain.”

Upon hearing this, the subordinate was delighted, his eyes filled with joy, but he stammered a bit as he asked:

”What about Captain Zhao?”

Ma Jun looked at the vehicle ahead, where the team captain who had just been in his seat was seated. Remembering him made Ma Jun irritated, and he said bluntly:

”He’s brainless; not only did he lose men, but he also failed to complete the task given to him.

You should take this as a warning; always use your brain, understand?”

Hearing Ma Jun speak so frankly, the subordinate immediately felt relieved and obsequiously stood behind Ma Jun, gently massaging his shoulders.

He said:

”Sure, boss, just set your mind at ease. Is this pressure alright for you?”

However, the deputy team leader in the front vehicle was completely unaware that his position had already been withdrawn.

While they were having this brief conversation, they were getting closer to the corner, soon to arrive.

Around the corner, twenty meters away, they would be able to see Luo and his men.

Meanwhile, several hundred meters away, Yang Tianlong saw that all the enemies had entered the encirclement and immediately instructed the men under the tree to drive over and block the road.

He quickly slid down from the tree.

He then said to Li Yu:

”The enemies have all entered the encirclement. We are blocking the rear road.”

After hearing this, Li Yu took a long, relieved breath.

Then, seeing that the enemy’s lead vehicle was less than 50 meters from the corner, he said to Luo:

”The enemy will reach the corner in five seconds. Everyone else, follow my command.”

”5.”

”4.”

”3.”

”2.”

In the vehicle at the front, after covering the original temperature with his body heat, the team leader was sitting comfortably.

Seeing the corner ahead, he reminded the driver:

”Slow down, there’s a corner coming up, don’t go so fast.”

The driver chuckled:

”I know, don’t worry about it.”

But the speed of the vehicle did not decrease at all, he even wanted to show off his drifting skills.

Turning his head, he said:

”Just watch, I’ve always been the big boss’s driver, my skills are...”

Vroom~

The tires began to twist, hitting the gas pedal.

”1.”

Action.

Li Yu fired a shot into the sky.

Boom—

Lao Lü set up the Rocket Launcher, aiming straight ahead at the car that had just come into view, and fired a Bomb.

Whoosh—

The driver of the leading car, still wearing a proud expression, hadn’t finished his sentence when he saw a terrified look emerge on the squad leader’s face.

”Ahead, ahead...”

Right after turning the corner, the squad leader immediately saw Lao Lü and others blocking the road.

One of them was even holding a Rocket Launcher, and a Bomb flew towards them.

The Bomb hit their vehicle, causing it to explode right there, the driver died before he could understand what had happened.

The vehicle lost control, veering and crashing into the steep hillside on the left.

In the next vehicle, Ma Jun’s vehicle had kept some distance from the leading car as it had accelerated before.

At this moment, seeing the vehicle in front explode without knowing what had happened,

The driver immediately braked, and the vehicles behind seeing the leading vehicle stop.

Then a gunshot was heard.

The vehicles behind, seeing the vehicle in front stopping, stopped one after another like dominoes.

A second later, Li Yu and others on the hillside threw down the pre-prepared Hand Grenades.

These Hand Grenades, Li Yu had already pulled the pins at the count of 2, and threw them down at the last second.

Nearly 20 Hand Grenades exploded upon contact.

Instantly striking five vehicles.

Boom—Boom—

Explosions resonated together.

Li Yu and others on the hillside, after throwing the first batch of Hand Grenades, immediately threw the second, third,... sixth Hand Grenade.

In just eight or nine seconds, nearly 100 Hand Grenades were thrown down the slope.

Explosions resonated together.

vehicles, their roofs blown off directly, windshields shattered, the interiors a mess.

Inside were human remains, red and broken like dough, scattered all over the vehicles.

The remaining vehicles were also mostly damaged, some had their tires blown up, some their windshields shattered, and some had doors blown off.

Simultaneously,

During these few seconds,

From the top of the restaurant, Dapao and others specifically aimed at the drivers.

They were all excellent at Spear Skills, swiftly shooting and killing a dozen or so drivers.

Meanwhile,

As Li Yu and others threw the Hand Grenades, and explosions sounded, Yang Tianlong and others a hundred meters away, pressed the button on another Rocket Launcher, and a Bomb hit directly at their last vehicle.

As gunshots rang out beside Yang Tianlong and others,

All of this happened at the same time.

...

From the perspective of Corpse Speaker and others on the street, it was an extremely gruesome sight.

In the vehicle where Ma Jun was, seeing the vehicle ahead stop, Ma Jun sat up immediately.

But as he sat up, the driver was shot in the head.

Ma Jun instantly understood they had encountered enemies, but didn’t know who they were, he immediately grabbed a gun and shouted in the car:

”Get out, fight back!”

Then he opened the car door, but what greeted him was a Hand Grenade falling from the sky.

Ma Jun, somewhat plump, was nevertheless agile, rolling immediately to below the cliff.

Just having rolled under the cliff, he saw Lao Lü and others firing their guns, bullets raining down like water, shooting the vehicle he had just been in to pieces.

The guy who rolled over with him was a step too slow and was also killed.

Boom—Boom—

From above, several Hand Grenades continued to fall, blasting craters everywhere, stone shrapnel flying, a few hitting his arms and legs with such force that they pierced through.

Blood flowed out...
