Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Chapter 646: Chapter 539: The Bloody Meat Grinder, Lurking Enemy (5200 Words Mega Chapter)_3

Within a radius of four or five meters, it instantly became a vacuum zone.

Li Yu did not hesitate and immediately loaded another bomb.

He fired again.

The people in the other three vehicles were also not idle.

On the Unimog, Yang Tianlong called someone inside the vehicle to drive, and he ran to the shooting position on the roof of the vehicle.

Rotating 90 degrees, he aimed at the zombies swarming from the right and opened fire with the heavy machine gun.

Bullets fell like raindrops.

The zombies on the right were mowed down like wheat.

Although the front loader was taking the brunt of the pressure.

But the SUVs on both sides were also being stormed by zombies.

If the zombies on both sides were ignored, under the massive force of many zombies, it would be easy for the vehicles to be overturned.

Everyone inside the vehicles crowded at the windows.

They lowered the steel plates that had been modified on the windows.

Revealing the second layer of iron bars.

With steel bars at the windows like prison bars.

They placed their gun barrels on the bars and fired wildly at the zombies nearby.

Some zombies, piling up, had already reached the outer bars of the vehicle, so they shot directly at the zombies’ heads.

Exploding skulls, splattering blood.

The last off-road SUV, Old Zhou also popped out from the modified roof with a rocket launcher and fired at the zombies swarming from behind.

There were simply too many zombies, just in the past dozen seconds.

The vacuum zone in the road surface just rolled over was filled up by the flood-like zombies.

Like flowing water, sealing off their path of retreat.

For a moment.

The sounds of heavy machine guns, squad machine guns, assault rifles, and rocket launcher explosions.

The massive engine sound of the loader.

The grinders, the sound of steel grinding bones and flesh.

The buzzing of chainsaws.

The zombies’ roaring.

All blended together, like a grand symphony.

Playing.

From breaking through the bridge’s barriers to entering the territory of Nanzhuang Town.

Then to everyone firing wildly.

All this took place within just a few seconds.

Thirty-five people, everyone’s faces showing tense seriousness.

In Nanzhuang Town, there were tens of thousands of zombies.

Like a flood, the zombies continued to surge towards them.

A few kilometers away from them, a group of about ten people dressed like Luo’s group was looking towards Li Yu’s direction with telescopes.

Among them were two leaders, who were Xie Weishan and Fang Tong, who had originally snatched the two vehicles and food and left at Furong Mountain.

”Did you see clearly? Are you sure you saw Luo and the others?” Xie Weishan said.

A man with a goatee next to him nodded and said, ”Look at the SUV in the middle, they are in that vehicle.

Also, both Xiao Ding and Xiao Liu are on the vehicle, take a closer look.”

Hearing this, Xie Weishan took the telescope, straightened his body, and looked in the direction the goatee man had indicated.

Soon, he saw several familiar faces, and with furrowed brows, he said: ”The loudspeaker last night, it might have been made by them.

Such a loud noise almost exposed our location, what are they really up to coming here? With so many zombies, we can barely avoid them, are they trying to get themselves killed?”

Xie Weishan looked at the military camp, and after being silent for a while, he said: ”We know Luo and his crew, but we don’t know the people in the other vehicles, not to mention why Luo eventually ended up with these people.

However, their coming to the camp must have some purpose.”

Fang Tong recalled the military camp, and then it suddenly came to him.

The two exchanged glances and found the same answer in each other’s eyes.

The tank!

Xie Weishan, watching Li Yu and others still killing zombies in the midst of the Zombie Tide, suddenly had a thought flash through his mind.

Originally, after a prolonged fight with the zombies at Furong Mountain, a lot of their ammunition was already depleted, and what little was left was quickly used up after they left Furong Mountain.

Even with access to food, they were still frantically evading zombies everywhere.

This time, their reason for coming to Fushi was to see if they could find some firearms and ammunition to replenish their supplies.

But upon arrival, they discovered there were so many zombies in Nanzhuang Town, and with just a dozen of them and an extreme shortage of bullets, charging in seemed impossible.

Without bullets, they would definitely end up devoured by zombies.

They had been around for several days, acquiring a lot of information about Nanzhuang Town,

including how many zombies there were, where guns and ammunition were stored.

The location of the tank.

Which areas had the most zombies; they figured it all out clearly.

Finally, they despaired in realization.

There were simply too many zombies; just with their numbers, lacking bullets and heavy firepower, going in would be suicidal.

However, when they were about to decide to give up and leave, the loudspeaker sound last night caught their attention.

Waking up this morning, they saw Li Yu and the others recklessly rushing in.

Xie Weishang said leisurely:

”This is a good opportunity, let’s take advantage of them drawing the zombies’ fire and move to the right side to get the firearms and bullets. What do you think?”

Fang Tong, with his beard, looking at the dense mass of zombies resembling ants, couldn’t help saying:

”Even if most of the zombies are drawn away by them, there are still hundreds of zombies at the place with the firearms.”

Xie Weishan, with a frown and furrowed into the character for ”deep worry,” said, ”Without bullets, our guns are no different from fire sticks.

Do you want to end up being chased and shot at like last time in Chuan Yu?”

Fang Tong recalled the humiliating events when they fled to the west and were disgraced by the Western Alliance, gritting his teeth, he said:

”Let’s do it, damn it, since Luo is there drawing fire, we shouldn’t waste this chance if we don’t take advantage of it.

But, Luo and those guys would probably be pretty upset if they find out, right?”

Xie Weishan chuckled and said:

”This isn’t the first time we’re doing something like this. Last time, the food Luo and his crew brought back benefitted us too.”

The bearded Fang Tong, upon hearing this, also smiled and said: ”Luo is really a good guy. When do we start?”

Xie Weishan, watching the pace at which Li Yu and his team were advancing, thought for a moment and said: ”We’ll move when they are about to get close to that tank.

At that time, they’ll have to get out of the vehicle, and that will drive the zombies even crazier, especially since that area is the center position. Let them attract all the zombies.

We’ll have a lot less pressure then.”

”Okay.”
