Reincarnated as a Mosquito, I Sucked the Reborn Empress to Tears

Outside the array, all the Witch Race people were dumbfounded.

That was the Blood-Patterned Heaven-Sealing Array!

A forbidden array recorded in their Witch Race’s ancient texts, powerful enough to trap and kill a cultivator at the Peak of the Emperor Realm!

Just a moment ago, their eleven Emperor Realm clan leaders had joined forces, bombarding it with all their might, yet they couldn’t make a dent in it even after a considerable time!

But now...

It just... shattered?

Shattered by that woman with a single sword strike?

”What was that?”

The old clan leader of the Houtu lineage spoke with a dry voice, his gaze fixed on the spot where Gu Yuexi had just been standing, his entire being somewhat dazed.

”It’s Mental Power... a sword formed purely from condensed Mental Power!” the woman from the Jumang lineage murmured to herself, her eyes filled with utter disbelief.

But that wasn’t what shocked them the most!

What truly shocked them was that, within that single sword strike, they had sensed over a dozen different kinds of... Power of Law!

Furthermore, her level of comprehension for each Law was terrifyingly high!

Even more critically, these weren’t the fragmented, incomplete Laws of the outside world, but the complete and pure Laws found here in their ancestral land!

How is this possible!

A Spiritual Cultivator who hadn’t even reached the King Realm had unleashed an attack powerful enough to instantly kill an ordinary expert at the Peak of the Emperor Realm!

This completely overturned the understanding they had built over tens of thousands of years!

At that moment, the eleven Emperor Realm clan leaders felt like their brains were about to overload.

How could a being not yet at the King-level possibly have such a terrifying comprehension of the Laws?

Besides, the Laws of the outside world were fragmented; it was impossible for her to have comprehended complete Laws out there!

The only explanation was—she had comprehended them right here!

But how long had she been here?

Half a day!

In just half a day, she had completely comprehended multiple complete Laws and could even perfectly integrate them into her attacks?

This... Is this a fucking level of comprehension a human can possess?!

Yun Yao was equally stunned. She stared blankly at the figure walking into the stone hall, a single thought echoing in her mind. ’So this is the Great Xia’s number one prodigy, the legendary Future Empress?’

’Her comprehension is simply heaven-defying!’

But...

’Once you’ve comprehended the complete Laws, you... you can’t leave!’

She didn’t know about the so-called ”Forbidden God Law,” but every generation of Witch Race elders would warn their descendants of an iron-clad rule.

The Heaven and Earth Laws of the Witch Ancestral Land are complete.

In the outside world, Blue Star, the Heaven and Earth Laws are fragmented.

The world of Blue Star simply does not permit the existence of complete Laws!

Anyone who comprehends the complete Laws will be rejected by the world of Blue Star, forever unable to set foot on that land again!

This was one of the main reasons why the Witch Race people had been forced to live in seclusion for thousands of years.

Below Law is Origin, and below Origin is Realm.

The Laws of this world are complete, which means the Origin and Realm are also complete.

And for a Cultivator, whether they cultivate Qi Blood or Mental Power, to step into the Fourth-Grade, they must comprehend a Realm!

The vast majority of Witch Race Cultivators stepped into the Fourth-Grade within the ancestral land, so the Realm they comprehended was naturally the complete Realm of this world.

This resulted in them being branded by this world from the very moment of their comprehension, causing them to be rejected by the outside world.

For their entire lives, they could never leave the ancestral land, never enter Blue Star.

Unless, that is, you comprehended a fragmented Realm on Blue Star.

Some tribe members, in order to freely enter and exit Blue Star, deliberately chose this path.

Yun Yao was one of them.

In order to save the Witch Race and to freely travel to Blue Star to search for the legendary Witch Ancestor’s Time Disk—the Time Trace Hourglass—she had intentionally suppressed herself since childhood, comprehending the fragmented Laws of Blue Star.

’Gu Yuexi... does she know about this?’

’It looks like she definitely can’t leave now.’

’Is she going to be stuck in this Witch Ancestral Land for the rest of her life?’

However, Yun Yao had no time to dwell on it.

That damned altar was still frantically draining the Qi Blood of all her kin, their lives hanging by a thread!

She could only place all her hopes on that woman, hoping she could kill Gong Xuan, destroy the altar, and stop this sacrifice!

’And... what about Master?’

’Does the disappearance of the Ancestral Hall have something to do with him?’

Too much had happened tonight; her mind was a chaotic mess.

...

「Deep within the stone hall.」

Gong Xuan and the mysterious entity had also been badly shaken by that last sword strike.

”A young lass not even at the King-level has actually comprehended so many complete Laws... This kind of comprehension would place her among the most monstrous geniuses even in the Divine Revelation Era!”

For the first time, a trace of genuine horror crept into that cold, sinister voice.

’There is something very strange about this woman!’

’And her Contracted Beast is bizarre as well!’

’Where in the world did that mosquito take the Ancestral Hall?’

’I can’t sense even the slightest trace of it now!’

Gong Xuan was truly panicking now. ”My lord, what do we do?!”

He knew very well that the altar’s defenses couldn’t compare to the Blood-Patterned Heaven-Sealing Array. If that woman unleashed another strike like the last one, the altar would be done for!

If that happened, all their efforts would be for naught!

”Hmph, what are you panicking for!”

The voice snorted coldly, forcing itself to calm down.

”Her comprehension may be heaven-defying, but her cultivation level is ultimately too low—only at the Ninth Grade Realm! Activating that last attack must have exhausted her Mental Power! She can’t possibly launch a second one so soon!”

”Use your Natal Essence Blood to speed up the altar’s operation! I will go and meet her!”

”Natal Essence Blood? This... Damn it, fine!” Gong Xuan had no other choice.

If the body reconstruction failed, he wouldn’t survive either!

He gritted his teeth and immediately complied.

At the same time, an illusory soul emerged from his mind and instantly burrowed into the blurry, blood-colored figure above the altar.

The figure shuddered violently. Its once-blurry silhouette began to sharpen, even growing facial features.

Its gaze turned directly toward the entrance of the stone hall.

Sure enough, Gu Yuexi’s figure walked in.

She looked at the blood-colored phantom that had grown facial features and keenly sensed a peculiar soul fluctuation.

’It doesn’t feel like the Human Race, nor a Demon Beast... An Outer Realm Evil God?’

’But it’s different from that wisp of the Evil God’s Will I encountered back in Du Nan...’

’This aura is more ancient, more like that wisp of the Ancient Emperor’s remnant soul on Qin Wudao. They should both be from the same era.’

’But this thing is clearly not human...’

”A remnant soul from the Divine Revelation Era, not of the Human Race?”

Gu Yuexi spoke coolly.

The blood-colored figure was clearly taken aback.

’This young lass’s knowledge is so profound? With a single sentence, she guessed most of my identity!’

But he couldn’t be bothered with that now. He had only one thought—stall for time!

As long as the body reconstruction succeeded, he would recover ten percent of his strength, and then he could use his divine abilities!

At that point, he could try to seize control of this world, or if that failed, he could tear through Space and escape this world to other realms!

He opened his mouth, about to say something to stall.

”Die.”

But Gu Yuexi gave him no such chance, directly retrieving the ancient, gray-white longsword from her Storage Ring.

Lin Daosheng’s Divine Sword!

Of course, she knew the other party wanted to stall for time.

This blood-colored phantom, fueled by the sacrifice of the Witch Race people’s massive amount of Essence Blood, was solidifying at a visible rate, its aura growing more terrifying by the second.

’Once it’s fully formed, I’ll definitely be no match for it!’

’At that point, everyone, including myself, will die!’

If that Sword of Realm just now hadn’t consumed so much of her Mental Power, she would have attacked the moment she entered.

Now, she had already taken several Celestial Tier elixirs to restore her Mental Power, and it had mostly recovered.

But she didn’t plan on using the Sword of Realm again.

Even having comprehended the complete Laws, the power of the Sword of Realm was far inferior to this true Divine Sword!

Now, after two months of secluded cultivation, her Mental Power had surged once more, and she was already at the Late Stage of the Ninth Grade!

Coupled with her further comprehension of the complete Laws...

’How far can I draw this sword now?’

When the blood-colored phantom saw the longsword in Gu Yuexi’s hand, its expression changed drastically!

”The aura of the Divine Realm?! This is a sword that belonged to someone in the Divine Realm?! How can you possess such a thing!”

Gu Yuexi paid it no mind and began to draw the sword.

This time, she showed no hesitation, pulling the entire blade completely from its Sword Scabbard!

On the blade, five ancient seal characters, filled with a supreme Dao rhythm, were finally and fully revealed.

SLAY!

GOD!

RETURN!

RUIN!

SWORD!

The moment the blade was fully unsheathed, an indescribably terrifying pressure swept across the entire Witch Ancestral Land!

At that instant, all the Witch Race people whose Qi Blood was being drained felt a shudder that originated from the depths of their souls!

Then, everyone’s eyes lit up!

They saw hope!

Gong Xuan’s face, however, turned ashen!

The expression on the blood-colored phantom seemed to freeze as well...

The sword’s light slashed down!

The first thing to bear the brunt of the attack was the massive stone hall that had stood for countless years!

Before the supreme Sword Qi, the giant stones were like fragile, thin paper.

With a deafening SHHIIINNNK, the entire stone hall was effortlessly split in two down the middle. Before the massive stone blocks could even fall, they were instantly ground into dust by the terrifying might of the sword!

The incomparably brilliant sword gleam tore through the cover of the stone hall, illuminating the night sky outside as if it were day.

Then, carrying a world-destroying momentum, it slashed directly toward the altar and the blood-colored phantom above it!

BOOM!!!

However, just as the sword gleam, imbued with supreme divine might, was about to land, the blood-colored phantom let out an inhuman shriek!

”With ten thousand spirits as sacrifice, a sea of blood as my shield!”

It suddenly performed a sealing technique with its hands, and the altar that was frantically draining the lifeblood essence of the Witch Race people instantly reversed its flow!

The immense power of Qi Blood that was originally flowing into the altar was forcibly redirected by it, forming a massive shield as viscous as plasma that appeared before it!

SSSSS—

The Divine Sword’s gleam crashed into the blood shield!

There was no earth-shattering explosion, only the teeth-grinding sound of corrosion and cutting!

Countless pained, wailing faces appeared on the blood shield—formed from the resentment and Essence Blood of the sacrificed Witch Race people, now serving as a barrier against the divine might.

Lasting for less than a second, the blood shield was sliced in half by the all-penetrating sword gleam!

However, that one second of obstruction had weakened the sword gleam’s power by nearly half.

The remaining sword gleam, with undiminished momentum, struck the blood-colored phantom!

”AH—!!!”

A blood-curdling scream echoed through the stone hall. The blood-colored phantom was struck by the sword, and more than half of its body was directly vaporized and annihilated by the terrifying Sword Qi!

It became more than ten times more illusory than before, looking as if a gust of wind could blow it away!

The altar beneath its feet was also hit by the aftershock of the sword gleam, letting out a groan as if under an unbearable load, its surface cracking with a web of fissures.

But... it ultimately didn’t shatter completely!

Although the blood-colored phantom was on the verge of dissipating, it hadn’t died!

”This...”

Gu Yuexi’s expression finally changed.

’The gleam of the fully drawn Divine Sword... was actually blocked by a mere remnant soul?’

”Heh... hehehe...”

The phantom, of which only a small fragment remained, let out a broken but incredibly venomous laugh.

”A million years ago, who here wasn’t in the Divine Realm?”

”You think to slay my Divine Soul with a mere sword from the Divine Realm and a single gleam of its blade?”
