Reincarnated as a Mosquito, I Sucked the Reborn Empress to Tears

In the Divine Hall of Stagnation, atop the giant Candle of Time.

Two mosquitoes, each stabbing their proboscis into the other’s body.

Each one draining the other’s Qi Blood!

As Mosquito Beasts, they both possessed the ability to devour blood and spirits! But the strength of this ability varied.

An ordinary Aedes albopictus could only suck a few milligrams of blood to satisfy its basic survival needs.

But the Six-winged Black Mosquito Daoist was the ancestor of all mosquitoes. His blood-devouring and spirit-swallowing ability was so potent that he had drained even the Turtle Spirit Saint Mother dry in minutes!

Even though the current Mosquito Daoist was just one of countless clones, he was still extremely confident in this ability of his!

This was an ability that shared the same origin and nature as his true form; he boasted that he wouldn’t lose to any other species!

And certainly not to one of his own kind!

So, when he saw Chu Sheng also plunge a proboscis into his body, he was dismissive, even furious.

’You? Compete with me in the power of devouring blood and spirits? Are you even worthy? Even if your Bloodline is a little special, you’re nothing before me, the mosquito ancestor.’

The Mosquito Daoist couldn’t be bothered to pay him any mind, focused solely on draining Chu Sheng’s Qi Blood dry!

Chu Sheng’s body might be small, but the sheer power of the Qi Blood Power within him was far beyond the Mosquito Daoist’s imagination!

However, the next second, all his previous anger, disdain, desire, and excitement vanished. Only one emotion remained: terror.

He felt his Qi Blood and vital essence being frantically sucked away by the other’s proboscis! Moreover, the absorption Speed was several times his own!

’How is this possible!’

’What kind of mosquito is this guy! What species is he!?’

’This is impossible!’

In the Mosquito Daoist’s extreme terror, the Essence Blood in his body flowed out madly!

In a brief moment, nearly one percent was absorbed! This being from millions of years ago was scared! He wanted to escape!

He wanted to pull out his proboscis and break free from Chu Sheng’s God-devouring Needle.

But just then, a mosquito leg suddenly appeared and clamped down hard on his proboscis! He tried to pull it out, but couldn’t!

It was Chu Sheng!

Chu Sheng had actually kept one leg hidden outside, not submerged in the lamp oil.

”BUZZ BUZZ (Heh, damn it. You think you can just leave after all this?)”

”BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ! (Today, either you drain this Lord Mosquito dry, or this Lord Mosquito will drain you dry!)”

Chu Sheng’s tone was vicious. He held the Mosquito Daoist in a death grip while continuing to suck greedily.

The system’s voice chimed in continuously.

[Ding! Detected Mosquito Daoist clone Essence Blood. This Essence Blood contains extremely rich Bloodline Power. Absorption in progress...]

[Qi Blood +10,000. As this Qi Blood is from the same species, it can be digested directly. Evolution Points +10,000.]

[Absorbing Bloodline Power...]

[Qi Blood +10,008, Evolution Points +10,008]

[Absorbing Bloodline Power...]

[...]

’Listening to the system notifications, Chu Sheng grew more and more excited as he sucked! ’Looks like this old geezer mosquito wasn’t just bragging! Even as a clone, he has this much Essence Blood in him!’

’Good thing he hasn’t fully activated his Qi Blood, or I’d be no match for him.’

’Ten thousand per gulp! And because the quality is so high, the Evolution Points I get from digesting it are a one-to-one ratio—ten thousand as well!’

’What’s more, since it’s blood from the same species, there’s no digestion time! That means there’s no limit to how much I can absorb!’

’I’m not just getting Qi Blood and Evolution Points, I’m also absorbing his Bloodline Power, even if I don’t know what it’s for yet!’

’How should I put it? This is just freaking awesome!’

’Such a tonic! A truly great tonic!’

In a situation like this, how could Chu Sheng possibly let him go?!

...

「Meanwhile.」

The terrified clone of the Mosquito Daoist began to struggle violently! But having only just revived, he couldn’t break free at all.

He was filled with regret! He regretted not finding a place to slowly activate the Essence Blood in his body bit by bit first.

’I was too greedy! Just like millions of years ago.’

Millions of years ago, his greed got him sealed away until now! This time, it seemed his fate would be worse than just being sealed!

But regret was useless! The Mosquito Daoist was, after all, a being who had survived for untold ages. He forced himself to calm down... The only option now was to engage in a mutual absorption battle!

He gave up struggling and began to suck with all his might!

And so, a Reincarnation Saint Mosquito and a Six-winged Black Mosquito began to frantically plunder each other’s Qi Blood... Sucked in, then sucked back out, forming a bizarre blood cycle.

But thanks to the God-devouring Needle, Chu Sheng was taking in more than he was losing. The Mosquito Daoist, however, was losing more than he was taking in, and could only struggle to hold on by relying on his vast reserves of Qi Blood!

Time passed, second by second, and a clear difference emerged in the two mosquitoes’ conditions.

Chu Sheng’s complexion grew healthier and healthier, while the blackness of the Mosquito Daoist’s body and the lustrous patterns on his wings grew dimmer and dimmer!

The Mosquito Daoist panicked and began buzzing nonstop:

”Junior, stop, stop, stop! That was just a game! I was only testing you.”

”If you stop now, I can point you toward a heaven-sent opportunity. I have traveled countless worlds and know of innumerable resources. I can tell you about all of them!”

”I can even take you as my disciple and teach you supreme Secret Techniques!”

”You have to believe me! I’m not lying to you this time! I am a being who once listened to the lectures of the Dao Ancestor himself!”

However, no matter what the Mosquito Daoist said, it went in one of Chu Sheng’s ears and out the other...

’All that bragging, and he’s still about to be sucked dry by Lord Mosquito?’ Not only did Chu Sheng not stop, he actually sucked even more vigorously.

Finally, the Mosquito Daoist couldn’t take it anymore. He started cursing up a storm, his words becoming extremely vulgar.

But Chu Sheng showed no reaction, single-mindedly focused on his frantic sucking.

Gradually, the Mosquito Daoist’s buzzing grew quieter and weaker, until it finally disappeared completely.

His body slowly shriveled, his Life Force draining away bit by bit... until he was just a flat, nearly empty husk.

The light in his eyes faded completely, and he finally fell into the lamp oil, slowly dissolving into it.

This clone of the Mosquito Daoist, who had lived for tens of thousands of years, was dead.

Sucked dry.

His corpse was completely submerged in the oil of the Candle of Time, trapped in eternal stillness.

「On the other side.」

”BUZZ~ (BURP~)”

Chu Sheng finally let out a satisfied burp.

’So satisfying!’

He immediately opened the system panel to check his spoils.

He had absorbed a total of... 1,908,808 Qi Blood, nearly two million!

[Current Qi Blood: 9,908,808 (Peak of Ninth-Grade)]

His Qi Blood Realm had shot up from the Ninth-Grade Early Stage all the way to the Peak of Ninth-Grade! His Mental Power and Qi Blood Realm were once again on par.

But the Qi Blood wasn’t even the best part.

The most important thing was the Evolution Points! That stuff was the system’s hard currency! Much harder to get than Qi Blood!

The Evolution Points gained from digesting the Qi Blood this time were on a one-to-one ratio. He had spent all his Evolution Points upgrading the God-devouring Needle to level 30, and now he had earned it all back nearly a hundred times over!

[Current Evolution Points: 1,908,808!]

His Evolution Points balance had reached an all-time high!
