Reincarnated as a Mosquito, I Sucked the Reborn Empress to Tears

He gazed at the drop of pale golden blood.

An extreme craving flickered in the Mosquito Daoist’s eyes.

He extended one of his mosquito legs and caught the droplet. It quickly transformed into a faint red light and entered his body. The amount was so small he didn’t even need his proboscis to absorb it.

Once the drop of blood was fully integrated, the black of the Mosquito Daoist’s body grew noticeably brighter! The dim patterns on his wings began to faintly glow! The Bloodline Power within this blood was far richer and more wondrous than he had ever imagined!

His gaze toward Chu Sheng became even more filled with greed!

Meanwhile,

upon seeing the Mosquito Daoist absorb his drop of blood, Chu Sheng sneered inwardly.

’Good, go ahead and drink it! You think the blood of this Lord Mosquito is so easy to take?’

’I don’t care what tricks you’re planning, you old geezer. In the end, all you want is to suck my blood.’

’But when it comes to bloodsucking?’

’Even if you’re the Mosquito Ancestor, this Lord Mosquito isn’t afraid!’

’System, take all my remaining Evolution Points and dump them into the God-devouring Needle!’

’Nothing ventured, nothing gained!’

[Ding! 28,000 Evolution Points consumed. God-devouring Needle has been upgraded to Level 30!]

[Current God-devouring Needle Level: 30. Its blood-devouring and spirit-swallowing ability now far surpasses the Mosquito Daoist’s clone.]

’Alright!’

While Chu Sheng communicated with the system in his mind, he put on an even more anxious facade and asked:

”BUZZ BUZZ (Ancestor, how is it? Is that enough?)”

The Mosquito Daoist forcefully suppressed his desire and continued:

”Of course! I would not deceive you.”

The Mosquito Daoist shot outward with incredible Speed! When he reached the edge of the Array, the glowing net of runes appeared again!

The Mosquito Daoist snorted coldly and flapped one of the pairs of wings on his back! A black light flashed, and the runic net snapped apart instantly!

”Junior, what are you waiting for? Keep up!”

The Mosquito Daoist was the first to fly out.

Chu Sheng immediately followed. The two mosquitoes soon arrived at the Divine Platform that had been at the core of the Divine Hall.

At this moment, the only thing left on the Divine Platform was a rather enormous candle covered in peculiar markings.

The candle was currently extinguished. Chu Sheng and the Mosquito Daoist landed on the edge of its top.

Chu Sheng buzzed:

”Ancestor, why did you bring me here? How do we open the Gate of Time to the third level?”

The Mosquito Daoist’s scarlet compound eyes stared at Chu Sheng, who was right before him, as he buzzed:

”What’s the rush.”

”The way to open the Gate of Time is right in front of you.”

”This Candle of Time was formed by condensing the Power of Time! As long as you relight this candle and allow the Power of Time to fill this Divine Hall once more, the Gate of Time to the third level will have a chance to reappear.”

Chu Sheng’s heart stirred.

”Then... how do I light this candle?”

The Mosquito Daoist casually edged a little closer and said flatly:

”Junior, you should have mastered a bit of the Power of Time Law, right? You just need to use the Power of Time Law as a catalyst, and you can easily light it.”

”Alright, I’ve told you the method. That Ancient Emperor has been on the third level for some time now. We can’t delay any longer. Hurry up and do it!”

By this point, the Mosquito Daoist could barely control his voice, which was tinged with an unbearable impatience.

Chu Sheng chuckled inwardly, pretending not to notice.

’What this Mosquito Daoist is saying about reopening the third level... it might actually be true.’

’Well then, let’s give it a try first.’

He hesitated for a moment. Before making his move, he asked the system again in his mind.

”System, you’re sure what you said is correct, right?”

The system’s voice remained icy:

[Affirmative.]

’Alright!’

Chu Sheng no longer hesitated. He slowly approached the candle’s wick, touched it with one of his mosquito legs, and activated his Time Realm.

Soon, Chu Sheng felt a connection form between himself and the candle. The next second, a flame actually flickered to life on the wick.

The flame wasn’t hot, but Chu Sheng still instinctively retracted his leg and returned to the edge of the candle’s top.

At some point, the Mosquito Daoist had crept a little closer. He stared at the candlelight, his voice trembling... a tremor of suppressed excitement:

”Just wait. The Gate of Time should reappear soon.”

And sure enough,

as the Candle of Time burned, a current of the Power of Time once again began to slowly fill the Inner Hall. At the same time, the previously solidified candle wax turned back into a viscous liquid.

Just then, the Mosquito Daoist suddenly exclaimed:

”Look! The Gate of Time has appeared!”

Hearing this, Chu Sheng subconsciously turned his head to look... but there was nothing in the air.

The next instant, he suddenly felt a terrifying push!

It was the Mosquito Daoist! He had finally made his move! Taking advantage of the moment Chu Sheng’s back was turned, he lunged forward, shoving Chu Sheng directly into the pool of wax beneath the candle’s wick!

Chu Sheng was caught completely off guard... Son of a bitch! He never would have imagined that after holding back for so long, the old geezer’s grand plan was such a simple trick! Before he could even react, his entire body was submerged in the wax!

Instantly, he felt his body freeze, completely unable to move, as if trapped in absolute stillness!

Fortunately, since the pool of wax wasn’t very deep, his mosquito head hadn’t been submerged and was still sticking out.

At the same time,

on the edge of the candle, the Mosquito Daoist finally stopped hiding the excited light in his eyes:

”Hahaha! Kid, I never expected the Bloodline Power in your body to be even more miraculous than I imagined! It actually gave my Origin a trace of evolution!”

”Your appearance is a gift preordained by destiny! This is fate. You can’t blame me!”

The moment the Mosquito Daoist finished speaking, he gave Chu Sheng no chance to react. He impatiently jabbed his proboscis directly into Chu Sheng’s exposed body.

This clone of the Mosquito Daoist was slightly larger than Chu Sheng’s current form! Fortunately, its proboscis wasn’t too thick. Still, Chu Sheng immediately felt a piercing pain!

Fuck!

The extreme pain made Chu Sheng curse inwardly. He wanted to use Instant Teleportation, to switch forms, but everything seemed to be frozen by the wax! This stuff, capable of trapping the Mosquito Daoist’s clone for millions of years, was no joke!

The next second, the blood in Chu Sheng’s body began flowing through the Mosquito Daoist’s proboscis and into him!

As he drank Chu Sheng’s blood, the Mosquito Daoist’s compound eyes grew even more scarlet!

Ever since he was reborn, it had always been Chu Sheng sucking others’ blood. This was the first time he was the one being sucked!

However!

Although Chu Sheng was in pain, he wasn’t panicked or afraid! If he were afraid, he wouldn’t have chosen to stay behind in the first place!

He grit his teeth against the pain and roared in his mind:

’Divine Dao True Flame, burn for me!’

Instantly!

The Mosquito Daoist, whose eyes had been filled with excitement, suddenly showed extreme agony!

A terrifying burning power raged within his body! The Divine Dao True Flame, the upgraded version of the Soul-devouring Nether Flame! It had been hidden in the very drop of blood Chu Sheng gave the Mosquito Daoist at the beginning!

The power of the Divine Dao Flame was too much for even this clone of the Mosquito Daoist to handle! The intense pain forced him to stop sucking blood. However, he still didn’t give up and pull his proboscis out of Chu Sheng’s body...

But, at that very moment!

While the Mosquito Daoist was distracted, Chu Sheng plunged his God-devouring Needle into the Daoist’s body!

Hm?

The Mosquito Daoist froze for a second, then his expression turned to stunned fury!

He was the Mosquito Ancestor, the one who devoured all, and no one had ever dared to devour him!

’A mere Mosquito Beast dares to compete with me in the power of devouring?!’ Enraged, the Mosquito Daoist suppressed the pain, deciding he would suck Chu Sheng dry before dealing with anything else!

At the same time,

Chu Sheng was also calling out in his mind!

”God-devouring Needle, suck him dry!”

[Ding! Qi Blood of the Six-winged Black Mosquito Daoist detected. Absorption in progress!]

A terrifying suction force erupted from the God-devouring Needle!

And the Mosquito Daoist’s face, once filled with stunned fury, instantly twisted into... terror!

Absolute terror!!!
