Reincarnated as a Mosquito, I Sucked the Reborn Empress to Tears

Gu Yuexi had once read about ”cave-heaven worlds” in ancient texts.

They were very similar to Secret Realms, yet fundamentally different.

A cave-heaven world possessed its own complete and self-contained Heaven and Earth Laws, forming its own separate heaven and earth. It was a world that could exist completely independently.

Secret Realms, on the other hand, often had incomplete laws and were merely ”fragments” attached to a greater world.

Cave-heavens are like kingdoms, fit for habitation and inheritance; Secret Realms are like mines, useless once depleted.

Some cave-heaven worlds formed naturally.

Others were carved out or refined by mighty experts of antiquity through extraordinary means.

And this Witch Ancestral Land... was likely such an existence.

The method of entry also served as a partial confirmation.

Secret Realms had spatial rifts as entrances and exits, but entering a cave-heaven world required a special method.

...

As Gu Yuexi pondered, she continued to perceive the laws of this heaven and earth.

Finally, she opened her eyes!

’I know how the laws here are different from the outside world!’

On their way here, Chu Sheng had told her about the ”God Prohibition” Law.

But here... it seemed there was no such law.

In other words... here, in this Witch Ancestral Land, it was possible to ”ascend to godhood”!

At this moment, Gu Yuexi’s heart surged with emotion.

But soon, her gaze returned to its usual calm, and she closed her eyes again.

’It seems coming to this Witch Ancestral Land was the right decision.’

...

「Meanwhile.」

Chu Sheng’s main body had actually arrived at this grand hall long ago.

After entering the Witch Ancestral Land, he could vaguely sense Yun Yao’s location through their temporary master-servant pact—she was nearby!

He didn’t rush to reveal himself.

Instead, he concealed his aura and began to carefully explore the stone hall.

The corridors crisscrossed, their walls covered in carved totems. Whenever Witch Race People passed by, he would press himself into the shadows, remaining motionless.

As he wandered, he used his Chaos True Sight to scan every room.

Soon, he discovered a peculiar room on another level of the stone hall!

The room looked somewhat like a prison cell. Chu Sheng’s ”gaze” pushed forward, and he soon ”saw” the scene inside.

There were people.

There were women.

Young women with nice figures...

...

It was a small stone chamber.

Austere.

A stone bed, a stone table, a stone stool, and an oil lamp.

A woman sat on the stone bed.

She wore the attire of the Witch Race, her face veiled with a light gauze, obscuring her features and expression... but her visible brows were tightly furrowed, as if she were deeply uneasy.

It was none other than the Witch Clan Saintess, Yun Yao.

Suddenly, Yun Yao’s brow twitched... She seemed to hear a faint sound.

”BUZZ, BUZZ.”

She whipped her head around to see a tiny mosquito hovering beside her!

Her pupils contracted sharply.

”You—”

She lowered her voice, incredulous:

”Ma... Master?”

’Oho?’

Hearing her call him ”Master” gave Chu Sheng a little thrill... ’Heh heh, I should get Gu Yuexi to call me that a couple of times, too.’

When Yun Yao saw Chu Sheng, she was stunned at first, then her eyes filled with delighted surprise.

But immediately after, that surprise turned into anxiety.

”It’s over!”

She whispered, her voice full of panic:

”Master, you—how did you get in here too!”

”This room is a special cell in my clan’s Holy Land used to imprison criminals! Once inside, your Cultivation will be completely sealed!”

Hearing this, Chu Sheng’s antennae paused for a moment.

’My Cultivation is sealed?’

With a thought, he perceived the state of his body.

’Holy crap, it’s true. I fell for it without even realizing.’

’This place is so damn treacherous!’

He could clearly sense that the Qi Blood and Mental Power in his body were being ruthlessly suppressed by an invisible law, making them extremely difficult to circulate!

’This feeling...’

’It’s a bit familiar.’

Chu Sheng thought back.

’Right, it was the same feeling back in the Mortal Realm.’

’But the suppression in the Mortal Realm was more absolute—while it’s extremely difficult to circulate my power here, I can still use a tiny bit of Mental Power.’

’And a tiny bit... is enough.’

’Still... for a tiny prison cell to have an effect similar to the Mortal Realm... It seems the abilities of this Witch Race truly cannot be underestimated.’

”BUZZ (Look at the state of you. Some Holy Daughter you are.)”

”BUZZ BUZZ (Why are you so worked up? You’re a far cry from the Little Empress.)”

Chu Sheng buzzed.

Perhaps due to the master-servant pact they had signed, Yun Yao could actually understand what Chu Sheng was saying... not that she understood mosquito language, but she could grasp the general meaning of his thoughts through the Blood Covenant.

And Yun Yao didn’t seem surprised by this at all.

”But... Master, now that you’re in, you can’t get out either.”

”Also, what about Miss Gu? I mean, Master... your master?”

Yun Yao’s tone was still anxious.

But Chu Sheng just waved his mosquito legs:

”You don’t need to worry about her.”

”First, tell me what’s happened on your end.”

”Aren’t you the Holy Daughter? Why weren’t you there to greet us? And why are you imprisoned here?”

Seeing Chu Sheng’s calm demeanor, Yun Yao, for some reason, also regained some of her composure.

She gritted her teeth and began to speak...

Soon, Chu Sheng learned from Yun Yao what had happened over the past month.

...

The situation was more complicated than he had expected.

The Witch Race was divided into twelve branches.

Yun Yao belonged to the Houtu branch, one of the twelve branches of the Witch Race. Thanks to her special talents, she had been chosen as the Holy Daughter of her generation.

A month ago, Yun Yao left the Ancestral Land and went to the outside world to find a sacred artifact to lift the Witch Race’s curse.

This had been a joint decision by all twelve branches—the curse that had plagued the Witch Race for ten thousand years had now reached a critical point where it absolutely had to be lifted!

Otherwise, the lineage of the Witch Race would very likely be broken!!

And all Witch Race People would die a horrible death within a hundred years.

The clan leader of the Gonggong branch, Gong Xuan, used the excuse that ”With the Holy Daughter absent, someone must take charge” to begin meddling in the affairs of the other branches.

By the time Yun Yao returned to the Ancestral Land with news of Chu Sheng, the situation had completely changed.

Through some unknown means, Gong Xuan had covertly gained control over ten of the twelve branches!

What was worse—Yun Yao had not brought back the Time Trace Hourglass this time... She had failed!

Her failure immediately threw the entire Witch Race into greater turmoil.

And she, the Holy Daughter, lost the trust of her people!

The moment Yun Yao set foot in the Ancestral Land, she was ”invited” to this stone hall, ostensibly ”to rest and recuperate after her long journey.”

In reality, it was house arrest.

When people from the Houtu branch tried to rescue her, Gong Xuan blocked them on the grounds of ”trespassing on the Holy Land.” It was even possible they had all been imprisoned!

Yun Yao also expressed extreme worry about this Gonggong clan leader, Gong Xuan.

Over the years, Gong Xuan had frequently set up various Arrays in the Ancestral Land.

These Arrays... were not Witch Race techniques at all!

Furthermore, people had been disappearing from the twelve branches of the Witch Race in recent years!

She had even faintly sensed the aura of an Outer Realm Evil God on Gong Xuan!

...

「In the stone chamber.」

Through their Blood Covenant, Chu Sheng could clearly feel the anxiety in Yun Yao’s heart.

This was also why she had been willing to sign a master-servant pact with him in exchange for his help.

After hearing all this, Chu Sheng’s antennae twitched slightly.

’Internal strife among the twelve branches of the Witch Race.’

’An Outer Realm Evil God?’

’That name sounds a bit familiar... ’

’Heh, it seems this situation is much deeper than I imagined.’

He rubbed his front legs, looked at Yun Yao, and continued:

”BUZZ (Alright, I get it.)”

”BUZZ BUZZ (So, what exactly is your Witch Race’s curse? And how do you lift it?)”

Chu Sheng went straight to the heart of the matter.

Hearing this, a flash of pain crossed Yun Yao’s eyes.

Then, she slowly stood up and first removed the veil from her face.

Then, she slowly began to undo her clothes...

Chu Sheng froze:

”BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ?”
