Reincarnated as a Mosquito, I Sucked the Reborn Empress to Tears

Chu Sheng perched on Gu Yuexi’s shoulder, staring at Yun Yao.

To be precise, he was staring at her chest... which was bulging.

’There’s something in there!’

His eyes lit up. He had been too caught up in the heat of the fight to notice... But now that he was closer, he could faintly perceive a trace of a Bloodline aura coming from Yun Yao’s chest.

’The aura of an Insect Beast!’

Although this aura was no match for the Mosquito Daoist’s Bloodline, it still seemed incredibly powerful... At the very least, it held the potential of an Emperor-level Bloodline.

’Kill her and take her stuff?’

’Forget it. Since Gu Yuexi said so, I’ll give her some face... I’m a mosquito of principle, you know. I don’t just snatch up every little treasure I see... unless I really can’t help myself.’

”BUZZ... (’Alright, I’ll give my Little Empress some face. Let’s drop it.’)”

Gu Yuexi nodded upon hearing this.

”You’re on your own.”

With that, she turned and flew toward the entrance of the Stillness Forest. Their objective in Secret Realm Zero was complete; it was time to leave.

Behind them, Yun Yao watched the receding figures of the woman and the mosquito, her eyes filled with bitterness and sorrow.

She wasn’t afraid of death!

The hopes of her clan rested entirely on her shoulders! But now, she had failed.

The Sacred Relic had been taken by someone else! This meant the curse that had plagued their clan for ten thousand years would continue unabated.

Worse, was there no longer any way to ever break it?

’What do I do? What do I do!?’

This Saintess, a woman only in her twenties yet burdened with the destiny of her entire clan, felt completely lost.

She watched them go in silence... until suddenly, she seemed to come to a decision.

”Wait!”

”Wait!!”

”Wait!!!”

She called out three times, her voice growing from a mumbled whisper to a desperate, lung-splitting shout.

Ahead, Gu Yuexi and Chu Sheng finally stopped.

Yun Yao quickly caught up, stopping in front of them. The other four members of the Witch Clan remained behind at her request, awaiting orders.

Gu Yuexi asked, ”Something the matter?”

Chu Sheng buzzed. ’What, you still want to fight?’

’If this woman is still courting death and wants to try and take it, then I can turn the tables and rob her blind,’ Chu Sheng thought, his buzzing holding a hint of excitement.

Yun Yao gritted her teeth.

”I’m not here to take the Sacred Relic. I couldn’t win against you even if I tried.”

”Since the Sacred Relic is in your hands... I’d like to propose a trade.”

Chu Sheng was a little disappointed to hear she wasn’t going to fight, but his eyes lit up again at the mention of a trade.

Gu Yuexi glanced at her.

”I’m listening.”

Yun Yao said slowly,

”I am the Saintess of the Witch Clan. The Time Trace Hourglass you hold is an extremely important Sacred Relic according to our records.”

”To be perfectly honest, my clan is in desperate need of it. So, I was hoping you could lend...”

”We won’t.”

Gu Yuexi spat out the two words without hesitation and prepared to turn away.

’Lend it? My ass,’ Chu Sheng thought, speechless.

Yun Yao quickly added,

”Then... could I ask you to accompany me to the Witch Clan and use the Time Trace Hourglass to help us with something!”

”If you agree, my clan will reward you generously!”

”Besides, you may not even know how to use the Time Trace Hourglass. My Witch Clan, however, has records detailing this Sacred Relic’s method of use. If you’re willing to help, we will tell you for free.”

Gu Yuexi stopped in her tracks.

She had figured out some ways to use the Time Trace Hourglass in her past life, but she truly didn’t know its full capabilities.

She exchanged a look with Chu Sheng and saw him secretly give her a signal with one of his mosquito legs...

So, she spoke again.

”Helping you... might be worth considering.”

”But I don’t trust your Witch Clan. Don’t forget, we were trying to kill each other just a few minutes ago.”

”So, let’s just forget about it.”

With that, she once again turned as if to leave.

This time, Yun Yao grew desperate.

”Wait! I’m telling the truth! What can I do to earn your trust?”

Gu Yuexi said coolly,

”That’s your problem.”

”I’ll give you three seconds. If you can’t convince me by then, don’t bother.”

Yun Yao was only twenty. She was far too green to negotiate with Gu Yuexi, who was living a second life. Her expression was hesitant, but then she gritted her teeth.

”I can swear an oath using my Witch Clan’s unique Secret Technique to enter a temporary master-servant contract with you!”

”That way, for the duration of the contract, you will know instantly if I harbor any ill intentions toward you! My very life will be in your hands!”

”Please! I... My clan truly needs your help!”

Yun Yao had thrown all caution to the wind, her voice filled with desperation. The two before her were her last hope.

Gu Yuexi glanced at Chu Sheng again and saw him subtly flash an ”OK” sign with a mosquito leg. She gave a small, helpless smile to herself and said,

”I have heard of your Witch Clan’s Secret Techniques. If that’s the case... then perhaps we can consider it.”

”However... I have no interest in being your master. I only need to be master to this damn mosquito.”

”You will acknowledge my Contracted Beast as your master instead.”

As her words fell, both Yun Yao and Chu Sheng were stunned.

’Whoa, she’s playing it like that?’

’But that works... Her clan’s Secret Techniques are a bit strange. But I have the system, so I’m not afraid of any tricks she might try.’

The reason he had signaled for Gu Yuexi to accept the deal was, of course, because he had his eyes on the method for controlling those twelve stone statues, as well as the secret of the Insect Beast Bloodline hidden in Yun Yao’s bosom.

And, of course, the secrets of the entire Witch Clan!

This trip to Secret Realm Zero had made Chu Sheng even more desperate to grow stronger. Previously, he had only thought of evolving to the Emperor Realm, but now, the Emperor Realm was clearly not enough.

It was far, far from enough!

Therefore, he couldn’t afford to miss a single opportunity to become stronger!

Meanwhile, Yun Yao had already resolved herself. She nodded, bit her finger, and squeezed out a drop of Essence Blood. Then, she began to chant at the droplet.

She spoke in a language neither Chu Sheng nor Gu Yuexi could understand, and her face grew paler with each word. As the strange ritual progressed, the drop of Essence Blood actually turned completely black.

”It is done.”

”You just need to absorb this drop of Essence Blood. For the next forty-nine days, you will be my... master.”

Hearing this, Chu Sheng flew over and plunged his God-devouring Needle into the drop of Essence Blood.

[Ding! A small amount of Qi Blood has been detected. Absorbing... Qi Blood +1,000.]

[Ding! A small amount of special Divine Soul Power has been detected. Now absorbing... Mental Power +1,000.]

[Ding! This Divine Soul Power contains a special Law. Now absorbing... Curse Realm Comprehension +200]

[Current Curse Realm Comprehension: 200 (Rudimentary)]

’Huh? An unexpected bonus. I actually absorbed a bit of the Curse Law.’

As Chu Sheng absorbed the drop of Essence Blood, he instantly felt a strange connection form between himself and Yun Yao.

This connection was different from a Blood Covenant. It was a more domineering type of rule... He felt that with a single thought, he could make the woman before him suffer excruciating pain.

Even... death.

”BUZZ... (’Hm, that’s some sincerity.’)”

”BUZZ BUZZ... (’In that case, I’ll take the job.’)”

And so, a peculiar group formed within the Stillness Forest.

The Witch Clan Saintess, Yun Yao; her temporary master; and her master’s master...
