System Came When the Doctor was Thirty

Yao Zhonghua left with Tian Zhuang and his card. Even though Tian Zhuang didn’t cry, Yao Zhonghua still unilaterally decided that if anyone dared ask Tian Zhuang to return the card in the future, they should call him immediately.

As an uncle, he loves his nephews equally, without bias towards anyone.

Instead, the sensible and hardworking Tian Zhuang received even more of Yao Zhonghua’s affection.

Unlike Yao Fang, Yao Zhonghua believed that balancing the family meant making all the sons ’good’.

”Tian Fu, what good does this do for you? Are you trying to keep an eye on Brother Wu’s money?” Tian Wei looked at Tian Fu, his face dark, almost murderous.

Tian Fu scoffed, ”If I were to embezzle even a cent from Brother Wu, may I be hit by a car upon leaving home, struck by lightning in the mountains! And may my daughters become prostitutes and sons slaves in the future.”

”But if you dare to embezzle Brother Wu’s money, be careful of retribution on your descendants...”

The eldest sister-in-law was infuriated, pointing at Tian Fu and scolding, ”Tian Fu! Are you still an uncle? How could you curse your nephews like that?”

Tian Fu wasn’t intimidated, slamming the table, ”Neither you nor my brother have any sense of decency, what kind of nonsense nephews are they?”

”The eldest brother is like a father, the eldest sister-in-law like a mother; which of these have you two brothers done?”

”Have you ever asked about Brother Wu’s living expenses during his residency training?”

”When Brother Wu first started working, I was the one who paid for his medical examination!”

Tian Fu didn’t mention the financial support he provided to Tian Zhuang, as those weren’t reasons for him to demand repayment, nor did he see a need to flaunt them.

Tian Fu then looked at Yao Fang and directly pierced her defenses: ”Mom, you are the elder. Although you gave birth to all of us, you can like whoever you want and dislike whoever you want, but don’t commit sins, okay?”

Yao Fang instantly broke down, ”Me committing sins? What sins have I committed? Wasn’t it your damned father who said he’d leave and then really left?”

”Leaving this burden of yours behind, what can I do?”

”Can I watch as the eldest two grow so old without a house, without a family?”

”What can I do? What do you want me to do?” Yao Fang felt that the face she had stubbornly maintained before was completely lost now.

She always claimed to outsiders that she was self-reliant and would definitely raise her children properly and ensure they started their families.

But this image had completely collapsed by now.

All because of the unreasonable Tian Fu and ’Tian Zhuang’ wanting to learn surgery...

Tian Fu stayed silent for a while, looking at his two ’brothers’, ”Given our poor family conditions, one should be self-aware, strive for improvement, work hard, and be sensible, rather than bullying those who are sensible.”

”Don’t blame Brother Wu; it was my idea that he speak out today, and I had to persuade him for a long time.”

”It’s all my doing!”

”Say whatever you want, criticize however you like!”

”I just want to say one thing: since I can’t be the fourth brother, I’ll be the fourth elder brother.”

”No matter how you make a fuss, I’m ready... I’ll risk my life if I must!” Tian Fu slammed the door as he left.

After a while, Tian Fu opened the door again, looked at Yao Fang, and said, ”Mom, you can say we don’t respect our brothers and elders, but we aren’t unfilial. You’re too much.”

”Even if they don’t care about you, Brother Wu and I will always be there.”

...

At Long County People’s Hospital, at four in the afternoon, the sun was just right, but Lu Cheng was seething with anger.

Finally, after several minutes of chaos, the order was maintained by security personnel called by Zhang Tiesheng.

After separating whatever relative of Tian Zhuang’s, Lu Cheng said, ”Alright, alright, I understand your meaning now.”

Lu Cheng nodded, ”Fine, I won’t teach your brother surgery anymore, I also won’t ask him to buy any equipment anymore, I was wrong... okay?”

”I really know I was wrong! Dear brothers.”

Tian Wei told the security personnel, ”Sir, I suggest you thoroughly investigate this doctor. He suggested my brother buy equipment and came back to argue with us.”

”Is he trying to get some commission from it...”

”My brother is always honest and straightforward, gullible to whatever others say, with no ulterior motives.”

”After we commented on Tian Zhuang, he argued fiercely with us and even made our mother cry.”

The security personnel looked at Lu Cheng.

Lu Cheng explained, ”Here’s what happened: Tian Zhuang is a doctor in our emergency department. He wanted to follow me in learning tendon suturing and came today to borrow my microsurgical instruments for practice.”

”I didn’t lend it to him, and then his family showed up, accusing me of misleading Dr. Tian to buy equipment.”

”I don’t know the specific reasons that led to Dr. Tian’s argument with his family. However, I assure you, from now on, I won’t give Dr. Tian any more advice!”

”To avoid any further family disputes!”

”I assure you! I won’t send him any more equipment links either.” Faced with such a family, Lu Cheng could only back away.

The thought of teaching and the skill points it brought, Lu Cheng didn’t dare seek them anymore.

”What’s the point of saying this now? We’ve finished arguing at home.”

”Do you have any conscience at all, making money in such a ruthless way?” Tian Wei questioned Lu Cheng.

”Is it because you think he’s so honest that he’s easy to take advantage of? If you’re so good at selling stuff, why don’t you go work in sales?”

After hearing this, Lu Cheng directly walked away!~

”Don’t leave!~” Tian Wei tried to stop Lu Cheng from leaving, but neither the security personnel nor Zhang Tiesheng could grant his wish.

Zhang Tiesheng said, ”You’re Tian Zhuang’s brother, right? Let’s sit down and talk slowly about whatever you have to say.”

”What you mentioned about misleading Dr. Tian to buy equipment, we need to verify it, oh, Director Lin from Lu’s department has also arrived...” Zhang Tiesheng said upon seeing Lin Qianlong.

”Let’s all sit down and discuss things properly, okay?”

”Coincidentally, Tian Zhuang is here too.”

”Tian Zhuang, come over here, your brothers and sisters-in-law are here, saying that Lu Cheng is misleading you to buy some equipment and profiting from it...”

Tian Zhuang was taken aback by the scene and then said, ”No, Brother Lu is teaching me skills, so he asked me to buy the microsurgery equipment.”

”Big brother, second brother, what are you doing here?”

Tian Wei pushed away Tian Zhuang’s hand and said, ”Tian Zhuang, don’t worry about it, just stay put, your brothers will handle it for you, someone duped our family!”

Seeing the situation getting chaotic, Lin Qianlong asked Tian Zhuang, ”Tian Zhuang, have you bought it? How much did you spend? For this to escalate so much.”

Tian Zhuang directly replied, ”I haven’t bought it yet, I don’t have the money to buy it right now...”

”Sir! Although my brother hasn’t bought it, Lu Cheng is still deceiving people, you must look into it carefully...”

Director Lin looked at the security personnel and stiffly said, ”Brothers, please take them away for immediate police action...”

Another half an hour later, Lu Cheng was also called to the security office!~

Four police officers were watching Tian Wei, Tian Qin, and Hong Yaqin.

The leader said, ”Now that everyone is here, we basically understand the situation. Dr. Lu Cheng suggested that Dr. Tian Zhuang buy some equipment for practice.”

”The link he shared with Dr. Tian was also an online link, and upon checking, we did not find any records of kickbacks or the like in Lu Cheng’s conversations with vendors, not even ordinary chat records.”

”Moreover, Dr. Tian Zhuang hasn’t made any payments, so the reason for coercive buying doesn’t hold.”

”Dr. Lu Cheng also expressed his willingness to apologize to Dr. Tian for this misunderstanding.”

”Now, state your demands. Dr. Tian, as the person concerned, what are your thoughts?”

After interacting with them, the police, though aware that Tian Zhuang was somewhat ’naive’, couldn’t ignore his ’requests’!

”Ah? I have no demands; Brother Lu didn’t deceive me, he’s teaching me surgery skills.”

”I can’t afford the equipment now, but I certainly will buy it in the future.” Tian Zhuang was bewildered.

Upon hearing this, Tian Wei said, ”Officer, as you can see, my brother is quite naive, so my request is to transfer the management of his bank card to us.”

”To prevent people with bad intentions from conning him out of his money, which he’s blissfully unaware of, it’s for his financial safety.” Tian Wei righteously suggested.

The police looked at Tian Wei, their tone confused, ”What kind of ridiculous request is this?”

”Why should his bank card be given to you?”

”He’s very gullible.” Tian Wei said.

Upon hearing this, Lu Cheng stood up, bowed in the direction of Tian Zhuang, ”Dr. Tian Zhuang, I’m sorry, my suggestion has caused you trouble. Here, I sincerely apologize.”

”Now, in front of your two brothers and the officers, I’ll reiterate once more, that this microsurgery instrument is optional; it doesn’t have to be bought!”

”I also hope the officers and leaders will witness it here today!”

”If there’s nothing else, can I go back to my work? I’m still on duty...”

No one can save another from their innate family environment, and Lu Cheng couldn’t either, so he had to steer clear.
