Super Gene Hunting Ground

Quickly, representatives from various imperial offices in Mingluo City received the notification and immediately dispatched messengers back to their empires to inform the emperors about the Genetic Store Headquarters’ call for a global conference.

In no time, the entire Witch Star was in an uproar.

It had been five or six years since the last global conference convened by the Genetic Store, which was held to mediate the war between the Youming Empire, Flying Leopard Empire, and Great Dragon Empire.

Though the Genetic Store Headquarters holds the responsibility for mediating major affairs across Witch Star, it traditionally maintains a neutral stance and does not convene conferences unless the matter is of utmost importance.

Mingluo City and all the empires have established a Transmission Array, making travel quite convenient.

By evening, emperors from over a hundred empires on Witch Star had arrived, entering the Elder Court conference hall at the Genetic Store Headquarters.

The conference had not officially commenced, but news had already spread.

Snow Wolf Emperor and White Elephant Emperor were surrounded by people, seeking detailed information.

Snow Wolf Emperor, in order to raise awareness, elaborated greatly on the power and threat of the opposition.

Everyone was in heated discussion.

”Aliens have actually built a base at the North Pole?”

”They deployed four Emperor Level realm Extraordinary Experts right away, so terrifying?”

”Does this mean our Witch Star is currently under threat from aliens?”

”Just how many troops does the enemy have? How many Emperor Level realm Extraordinary Experts?”

”Definitely more than four, right?”

”Which planet are they from anyway?”

...

The Genetic Store Headquarters also urgently summoned the remaining elders from afar, apart from the Great Elder Gu Bo, the other eight elders gathered.

The Second Elder led the seven elders into the conference hall, immediately quieting the once noisy hall.

The eight elders took seats on the podium one by one, alongside the White Elephant Emperor, Flying Leopard Emperor, and Great Dragon Emperor.

The Second Elder glanced at the over one hundred emperors in the hall and spoke:

”Honored emperors, bringing everyone together urgently this time is for a matter of great importance, and surely you are already aware. Now, please let Snow Wolf Emperor recount the entire situation for everyone once again.”

Snow Wolf Emperor stood from his seat, bowed to the people on the podium, and then began to recount the recent events in the Arctic Circle.

He spoke of his son’s murder, and how he and King Qingtian, along with Dean Bai, led two thousand guards to besiege the enemy, resulting in a bloodbath and near total annihilation. The whole venue fell silent, everyone’s hearts shaken, filled with terror.

”Elders, Emperors, this matter has escalated beyond a simple personal vendetta and group conflict; it now concerns the fate of our entire Witch Star. Therefore, I’ve specially requested White Elephant Emperor to meet with the Elder Court for discussions.”

Having finished, Snow Wolf Emperor’s heart was filled with grief and anger, tears streaming as he remembered his deceased son and two thousand elite guards.

The Second Elder swept his gaze over the crowd and said:

”The course of events is straightforward, as everyone knows, besides Snow Wolf Emperor, King Qingtian of Youming Empire and Dean Bai personally participated in the battle and can testify.

Upon hearing this matter, our Elder Court realized the gravity and specifically gathered everyone urgently. Let’s discuss how to resolve this issue?”

The conference hall was silent for several minutes, then someone spoke up.

”Since aliens have come to build a base on our planet and killed people of Witch Star, we naturally can’t stand for it. We should strike back and wipe them out!”

”Yes, launch an attack and wipe them out.”

”Wipe them out!”

...

The venue was filled with passionate fervor.

The Second Elder waited for everyone to express their anger, then gestured for silence. The hall immediately quieted down.

”It seems everyone is in agreement. As citizens of Witch Star, each of us bears the responsibility of defending our homeland against alien invasion.

I now propose: those in favor of attacking the alien base at Arctic Snow Mountain, please raise your hands.”

No sooner had the words left his mouth than everyone raised their hands.

Regarding the issue of resisting foreign invaders, everyone stood united, despite the usual conflicts of interest between empires. At this moment, unity prevailed.

The Second Elder nodded and said:

”Since everyone agrees on attacking the alien base at Arctic Snow Mountain, this matter should not be delayed. The enemy has been exposed, and we must act swiftly to prevent their escape or sudden attack on us.”

White Elephant Emperor said:

”Indeed, this matter requires swift resolution; it cannot be deferred.”

The Second Elder scanned the crowd and said:

”Given that this concerns the fate of the entire Witch Star, I hope all empires will dispatch their most formidable regiments to annihilate the alien invaders in one strike.

Let me remind everyone, all Emperor Level realm Extraordinary Experts on Witch Star must participate in this battle.

Additionally, Youming Empire, Great Dragon Empire, and Flying Leopard Empire will each deploy three thousand elite warriors, while the other empires will each send one thousand. Moreover, you must prepare reserve forces ready to support the frontline should circumstances change.”

As per the Second Elder’s arrangement, besides gathering several dozen Emperor Level realm Extraordinary Experts from the whole Witch Star, there are also over twenty thousand elite troops, a truly formidable combat force.

”Excellent, does anyone have any objections?”

Everyone nodded, saying:

”We will all follow the Second Elder’s arrangements.”

”Good, since that’s the case, everyone return to your respective empires immediately. Tomorrow, gather all the troops at Snow Wolf Empire.

Snow Wolf Emperor, you may return now and open the Transmission Array to all empires.”

”Okay, no problem, I’ll handle it immediately. Also, our Snow Wolf Empire being the frontline, is willing to provide all logistical support for the troops, including food, medical aid for the injured, and so on.”

”Hmm, this is excellent.”

...

All emperors returned to start gathering their troops.

Flying Leopard Emperor returned to the royal palace, gathered Eldest Prince Wanyan He and others, and said:

”He’er, your father will lead troops in battle tomorrow, you manage the state at home. You’ve been learning state management from me for two years now and know how to handle most matters.

I’ll return after a few days.”

”Father, I want to join you in the Arctic for the battle, to take care of you.”

Flying Leopard Emperor nodded, chuckled, and said:

”Originally, it would be fitting to let you participate, but this time, since all emperors are going, the princes must remain behind; guarding the country is the greatest merit.”

Wanyan He had no choice but to comply,

”Yes, Father!”

Flying Leopard Emperor consulted with First War General Wanyan Kang about the combatants, then swiftly dispatched someone to inform Dean Xinghai at Flying Leopard Academy to bring some instructors into the battle.

Wanyan Kang asked:

”Does Elder Ye need to participate?”

”Forget Elder Ye; let him guard the country at home.”

”Should the Imperial College also send some students to gain experience?”

”Yes, of course. Notify the dean of the Imperial College to organize two hundred Empire Level Advanced realm students to join the Arctic Ice Mountain battle.”

”Should Yang Xiao participate?”

”Yang Xiao?”

Flying Leopard Emperor hesitated for a moment,

”Though Yang Xiao is a student at the Imperial College, he is also a leader on Purple Origin Star. Would it be appropriate for him to participate in the battle against alien invaders?”

”Certainly, he is currently our Flying Leopard Empire’s State Preceptor. Though it’s a nominal position, it makes him an official citizen and officer of Flying Leopard Empire. He should go.”

First War General Wanyan Kang looked at Flying Leopard Emperor, but internally he was pondering that if Yang Xiao joins the battle, it might be an opportunity to eliminate him amidst the battlefield chaos.

Wanyan Kang was always wary of Yang Xiao, thinking that if Flying Leopard Emperor were to die one day and Wanyan He inherited the throne, Wanyan Kang would need to control the situation without Yang Xiao as an obstacle.
