Super Gene Hunting Ground

Long Aotian arrived at the Genetic Research Institute of the Great Dragon Empire.

As the future emperor successor of the Great Dragon Empire, Long Aotian has begun to take comprehensive control of many affairs, including the work of the Genetic Research Institute.

The staff led Long Aotian to the laboratory, took out a bottle of blue potion, and said:

”Your Highness, this is the latest Dragon Clan Genetic Potion we developed, primarily utilizing the optimized genes of those two Earth Dragons.”

Long Aotian glanced at it and said:

”How is this Dragon Clan Genetic Potion used, and what does it do?”

”Your Highness, currently at the first stage, injecting the Genetic Potion into the body can optimize and accelerate genetic evolution. With continuous use, it can help evolvers break through the evolution bottleneck and advance to a higher Genetic Evolution Realm.”

”How much can it enhance?”

”Currently, as a first-stage product, a conservative estimate would allow an ordinary evolver to break through to above the Empire Level. If we continue to develop the Dragon Clan Genetic Potion, future effects will be better, potentially allowing evolvers to commonly break through to Empire Middle Level, Empire Level Advanced, and even assist in breaking through to the Emperor Level Realm.”

”Emperor Level Realm?”

Long Aotian was surprised, looking at the researchers,

”If I use the Dragon Clan Genetic Potion, can I break through to the Emperor Level Realm?”

”Your Highness is originally at the Empire Level Advanced. With persistent use, it should be possible to break through this bottleneck and evolve to a higher realm.”

Long Aotian, constrained by his own genetic evolution bottleneck, hasn’t been able to progress in his evolution realm despite significant early advancements, and this is causing him distress.

”Alright, find someone to experiment with it first, and if successful, inform me immediately.”

”We have already conducted numerous experiments on demon beasts. Two demon beasts of the same level, after being injected with the Dragon Clan Genetic Potion, showed twice the genetic evolution speed and soon broke through the evolution bottleneck.”

Long Aotian, hearing this, was delighted and said:

”Conduct human trials immediately, ensure there’s no risk. Once successful, notify me at once.”

”Yes.”

”How are the two dragons captured from Earth now?”

”The two dragons are suppressed in the cage, and there are no issues.”

”Take me to see them.”

”Yes.”

Under the guidance of the staff, Long Aotian came to a building shrouded in a defensive light screen.

The entire Genetic Evolution Research Institute was originally covered by a massive defense light screen, but this building within the institute was also separately shrouded, appearing especially cautious.

The staff opened the curtain gate and led Long Aotian inside.

”Your Highness, inside here are the precious demon beasts captured from various places, including the Nine Heavens Flying Fox from Aluo Planet, Wild Men from Purple Origin Star, Nether Bats from Canglan Star, and also the dragons from Earth,”

the staff introduced as they passed through several independent rooms.

Long Aotian glanced at a few rooms; each was individually controlled by a defense light screen, and from the entrance, various rare demon beasts could be seen detained inside.

All these demon beasts wore Beast Suppressing Necklaces, their genetic abilities greatly suppressed, and could only stay obediently in their cages.

At the door of a rectangular room, the staff said to Long Aotian:

”Your Highness, those two dragons are confined here. Would you like to go in and have a look?”

”Well, open the door.”

The staff gestured to the two guards at the door, who then swiped a Jade Token on the door of the defensive light screen, causing it to open automatically.

Long Aotian stepped inside under the guidance of the staff.

Inside the rectangular room, two hundred-meter-long giant dragons lay coiled.

Long Aotian glanced at them and said indifferently:

”Why have these two dragons become so thin? They don’t seem to have any energy either?”

”Your Highness, they are currently fed only one demon beast a day, not too much. Moreover, they are not allowed to go out and play, being confined in the room all year round naturally leaves them without much spirit. However, this does not hinder our research on dragon genes.”

Long Aotian walked up to the giant dragons; upon seeing Long Aotian, they immediately showed an angry expression, growling lowly.

Two guards immediately shouted:

”What are you barking for? Behave, or do you want to die?”

Saying this, a steel whip in their hand snapped onto the dragon body, stripping off two pieces of hard dragon scales, leaving blood trickling.

”Awoooo—”

The giant dragons roared in anger, but unfortunately, with the Beast Suppressing Necklace around their necks, they were powerless to resist these Empire Level Realm guards; they could only continue growling spitefully with gritted teeth.

Long Aotian waved his hand, indicating the guards not to whip them, then said to the giant dragons,

”What, do you still recognize me?”

The giant dragon roared:

”Even if you turned to ashes, I would recognize you. If it were not for you leading people to hunt us in the deep sea, how could you have exterminated our Dragon Clan? And how could you bring us here to suffer? You better pray that we don’t escape one day, or I will surely devour you.”

”Haha....”

Long Aotian laughed loudly,

”You two dead dragons still dare to threaten me? If not for the fact that you are of some use, I would have killed you long ago. Oh, by the way, I have good news for you: Your daughter isn’t she on the run? We are sending people to capture her, and we should succeed soon. Once she’s captured, I will bring your daughter here to make your family reunion happen, haha.....”

”You, I want to kill you!”

The other giant dragon, who had remained silent all along, Long Xiang’s brother, suddenly sprang into action, his massive dragon body charging at Long Aotian.

”Bang!”

Long Aotian punched, directly sending the giant dragon skidding back dozens of meters, lying on the ground, breathing heavily, and spewing several mouthfuls of blood.

Long Xiang’s father hurriedly went to his son’s side,

”Long Jian, Jian’er, how are you? What’s wrong?”

Long Jian spat out a mouthful of blood and solemnly said:

”Father, I’m fine. I really want to die with him. This kind of suffocating life, I don’t want to live it for a single day.”

”Jian’er, calm down, endure.”

Long Aotian stood by, sneering coldly,

”Long Hai, Long Jian, you father and son should accept your fate; obediently stay here and cooperate with me on my experiments. Perhaps, when my experiment is over, on a good day, I might let you out,

I won’t hide it from you, on this Witch Star Continent, how many demon beasts more powerful than you have I killed? There were even those at the Emperor Level Realm, unable to escape from our clutches. I advise you not to waste your efforts.”

After speaking, Long Aotian snorted coldly and turned to leave.

”Give these dragons an appropriate increase in food, nurture their bodies, don’t let them die; they will still be of great use in the future.”

”Yes, Your Highness.”

...

Long Aotian returned to the Royal Palace, met with his father, and reported on the Dragon Clan Genetic Potion.

The Emperor of the Great Dragon was very pleased after hearing this.

”Excellent, Aotian, if this Dragon Clan Genetic Potion can be mass-produced and utilized, within just three to five years, we can nurture a large number of super powerful warriors at the Empire Level Advanced realm,

Once we have accumulated enough strength, the first thing I will do is to destroy the Flying Leopard Empire, then march on Purple Origin Star and wipe out all the Wild Men there,

I want to see how Yang Xiao plans to oppose me without the base of Purple Origin Star!”

”Father is right; this Dragon Clan Genetic Potion has appeared just in time.”

The Emperor of the Great Dragon suddenly remembered something and asked:

”Aotian, last time I asked you to send people to Earth to investigate Long Jing’s situation, why haven’t they returned yet? It’s been over half a year; they should have been back by now.”

Long Aotian was taken aback and said:

”We are hundreds of light-years away from Earth, taking two or three months for a round trip; perhaps they encountered some issues with their investigation on Earth. Be patient and wait; they should be back soon.”

”Hmm, attend to this matter promptly, strive for an early result, and keep it confidential; Long Jing must not find out.”

”Yes, father.”

...

Long Aotian returned to his Prince Manor, summoned the steward, and a few subordinates.

”Why hasn’t the team I sent to investigate Princess Long Jing’s situation on Earth returned yet?”

The steward and the subordinates looked at Long Aotian, equally puzzled, and said:

”The distance between Witch Star and Earth is too far; we cannot control this situation. There shouldn’t be any accidents, right?”

”With His Highness the Third Prince guarding Earth, what accident could occur?”

”Logically, they should have returned; it has been over half a year.”

”Your Highness, should we send someone to check?”

”Easier said than done, there are only eight long-distance interstellar spaceships in the entire empire. The Third Prince left one on Earth back then, and we dispatched one as well; there’s no spare long-distance interstellar spaceship left!”

”What should we do then?”

Long Aotian sighed and said:

”Let’s wait a bit longer; perhaps there was a delay on Earth. If they don’t return in a few more months, we’ll have no choice but to send another spaceship to check Earth.”
