Super Gene Hunting Ground

Xiao Ling heard that Yang Xiao was going to join the Royal Gold Medal Guard Team of the Flying Leopard Empire and was very happy for Yang Xiao.

”Yang Xiao, you can go and cultivate in peace. I will take care of Bing’er.”

”Xiao Ling, thank you for the hard work.”

”Is there a need to say these things between us?”

....

Because Yang Xiao was going to join the Gold Medal Guard Team to cultivate the Flying Leopard Divine Skill, he couldn’t temporarily take the recruited group of a hundred academy members to Purple Origin Star, so Yang Xiao entrusted the task to Prince, Wanyan He.

”Brother He, let Liang Bao and Wang Qian take these people to Purple Origin Star. Don’t you have a transport ship going to Purple Origin Star every month to transport Purple Crystal Stones? Let them take your transport spaceship there together.”

”Rest assured, leave this matter to Liang Bao, he is an old member of Flying Leopard Academy and familiar with the mentors, it’s more than appropriate to entrust it to him.”

...

Yang Xiao arrived at the Flying Leopard Empire Palace to pay respects to the Emperor.

The Flying Leopard Emperor met Yang Xiao alone.

Yang Xiao bowed and said:

”Thank you, Your Majesty, for making an exception to accept me into the Gold Medal Guard Team, allowing me to cultivate the Flying Leopard Divine Skill. I will never forget this kindness and favor.”

The Flying Leopard Emperor walked to Yang Xiao’s side, gently raised Yang Xiao’s arm, and said:

”No need for formalities! Yang Xiao, do you know why I am willing to make an exception to accept you into the Gold Medal Guard Team today?”

”Your Majesty hopes that I can assist the Eldest Prince in ruling the Flying Leopard Empire in the future!”

The Flying Leopard Emperor was taken aback and looked at Yang Xiao with an appreciative gaze:

”Smart! Talking to smart people is comfortable, not tiring at all,

Yang Xiao, you are also clear about the current situation of the Flying Leopard Empire. The Eldest Prince’s talent in genetic evolution is limited; it is almost impossible for him to break through to the Emperor Level Realm,

As the heir to the throne, the Eldest Prince inherently lacks this, which is what worries me day and night. I wonder if you can promise me to help assist the Eldest Prince in ruling the Empire?”

Yang Xiao heard this and immediately bowed:

”Thank you, Your Majesty, for your trust. I am willing to do my best to assist the Eldest Prince, however, there is one thing I must declare beforehand,”

”What is it?”

”Although the Second Prince has died, and there are no other princes challenging the Eldest Prince’s right of succession, it does not rule out someone coveting the throne, for example,”

Yang Xiao paused at this point and looked at the Flying Leopard Emperor.

”For example, what?”

”For example, the First War General Wanyan Kang. If he covets the throne and launches a coup, how should the Prince and I handle it?”

The Flying Leopard Emperor’s heart skipped a beat as he looked at Yang Xiao,

”Wanyan Kang is arrogant in daily life, but I think he wouldn’t dare openly coup. Even with me here, Elder Ye and Dean Xinghai assist in stabilizing the nation.”

Yang Xiao smiled lightly:

”I was only hypothetically speaking, not really saying Wanyan Kang will definitely coup to overthrow the Eldest Prince’s rule. However, the Eldest Prince is weak, and in some matters, Your Majesty needs to prepare early.”

The Flying Leopard Emperor nodded,

”Okay, thank you for the reminder. Now, I’ll take you to the Imperial College. Today is the day you officially join the Imperial Gold Medal Guard Team, everyone is waiting for you at the Imperial College.”

The Flying Leopard Emperor took Yang Xiao out of the palace, rose into the air, and flew towards a certain mountain peak within the Capital City.

A moment later, the Flying Leopard Emperor descended on a mountain peak.

From a distance in mid-air, Yang Xiao saw that the mountain peak was shrouded in mist, with dozens of buildings faintly visible under a giant defense light screen.

Yang Xiao followed the Flying Leopard Emperor and landed on a flat area on the mountain peak, not far away from a surrounding wall.

As soon as they landed, a team of dozens of guards instantly appeared in front of them. The leader, upon seeing them, immediately knelt down:

”Greetings to Your Majesty.”

The Flying Leopard Emperor nodded and walked straight towards the nearby large gate.

Yang Xiao followed behind, raising his head to see the large characters above the gate:

Imperial College.

The guards opened the path ahead, while someone had already rushed into the Imperial College to announce their arrival.

”Yang Xiao, the Imperial College is a place dedicated to cultivating high-level talents for the Empire. Unlike the Flying Leopard Academy, those who can come here are all above the Empire Level realm, exceptional talents recognized by the Empire.

The Gold Medal Guard Team is the most core department organization within the Imperial College. Every year, they select a very few from the Imperial College’s outstanding talents to enter the Gold Medal Guard Team.”

As they spoke, they arrived at a large hall where a row of people were standing at the entrance. Seeing the arrival of the Emperor, they knelt together:

”Greetings to Your Majesty.”

Yang Xiao glanced over, noticing that the leader was the First War General Wanyan Kang, along with several elders, and Prince Wanyan He was also among them, with a total of about forty to fifty people. Each appeared to be spirited, exuding a powerful aura, all super strong beings of genetic evolution, making him sigh inwardly:

Wow, the reception is quite grand!

The Flying Leopard Emperor nodded and said:

”Please rise.”

Everyone rose and escorted the Emperor into the great hall.

Inside the hall, everyone took their seats in order, and the Flying Leopard Emperor stood in front of the crowd, loudly saying:

”Everyone, today, our Flying Leopard Empire’s Gold Medal Guard Team welcomes a new member. Let’s warmly applaud to welcome Yang Xiao into our Gold Medal Guard Team.”

The crowd applauded.

Yang Xiao quickly stood up and bowed to everyone.

The Flying Leopard Emperor said:

”Everyone knows about Yang Xiao’s identity. He is our Empire’s State Preceptor, as well as the leader of Purple Origin Star, and also our ally. Today, Yang Xiao’s joining our Gold Medal Guard Team is also an honor for our Flying Leopard Empire’s Royal Gold Medal Guard Team. I hope everyone can be united and supportive, advancing together.”

The crowd applauded again.

Following the procedure, Yang Xiao then swore allegiance to the Flying Leopard Empire and signed an allegiance document.

Yang Xiao glanced at the content of the document and discovered that his introducer and guarantor were both Dean Xinghai.

According to the rules of the Flying Leopard Empire, if Yang Xiao were to betray the Gold Medal Guard Team in the future, both the introducer and the guarantor would be held responsible, similar to a joint responsibility system.

At this point, Yang Xiao had no choice but to swear allegiance according to the rules.

Then, the Flying Leopard Emperor personally introduced Yang Xiao to the forty to fifty members of the Gold Medal Guard Team present.

Among these forty to fifty people, over thirty were at the Empire Level Advanced realm, some had already reached the Empire Level Peak.

Only the Flying Leopard Emperor and the First War General Wanyan Kang were at the Emperor Level realm.

After introductions, the Flying Leopard Emperor said:

”Yang Xiao, I have other matters to attend to, so I will return to the palace first. The Elder Council will naturally relay the remaining instructions to you.”

”Thank you, Your Majesty!”

The Flying Leopard Emperor and Wanyan Kang and others dispersed, leaving about twenty people present, who also took their leave to prepare for cultivation methods.

Prince Wanyan He stayed by Yang Xiao’s side,

”Yang Xiao, I’ll take you to meet the Law Enforcement Elder and the Cultivation Elder. The Law Enforcement Elder will teach you some regulations to abide by, while the Cultivation Elder will teach you how to cultivate the Flying Leopard Divine Skill. From today onwards, I can cultivate here with you.”
