Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Fist surrounded by a blue hurricane, the wind vortex at the elbow instantly ejects compressed Wind Attribute Magic Power, Wind Snatching’s fist resembles a comet, drawing a long trajectory.

Moving the shield, Yang Yu releases [Shield Block], to intercept.

Fist, shield collide, a dull sound spreads with the shock wave.

Countless azure splashes from Wind Snatching’s fist, passing by him, turning into tiny micro-light, disappearing without a trace.

”Charge at me!”

Wind vortexes at the elbow and back of Wind Snatching simultaneously explode with astonishing thrust.

Unimaginable impact comes head-on, even with [Climbing] active, using [Incredible Braking Boots] to forcibly stop moving, Yang Yu is still propelled dozens of meters by Wind Snatching’s fist.

Red surges on Yang Yu, the power of blood flows along the body into the ground, a large Deceleration Field extends outward centered on Yang Yu.

No chance to breathe, a whirlwind stirs under Wind Snatching’s feet, the wind vortex moving to the soles ejects wind pressure, springing out like a spring.

Pressing the long sword against the ground, Yang Yu barely avoids Wind Snatching’s strike.

Without any pause, Yang Yu instantly retreats dozens of meters, opening the distance with Wind Snatching.

Achieving instant approach requires multiple wind vortexes to exert force together.

Understanding each wind vortex’s status, causing most wind vortexes to overload, preventing them from functioning normally, is the key to victory.

Creating distance, Yang Yu aims to lure Wind Snatching into using wind vortex acceleration.

But Wind Snatching isn’t foolish and doesn’t fall for it.

As the future Clan Leader of the Wind Wolf Clan, he understands the importance of wind vortex status to the clan more than anyone.

Knowing how to use each wind vortex, moderating the use of each wind vortex, is the mark of a competent Wind Wolf Clan warrior.

Wind Snatching watches Yang Yu’s every move, countless green streams float from the center of wind vortexes, wrapping him, adorning him in a layer of teal giant wolf War Garment.

It’s [Wind-controlling Wolf Spirit].

Several knowledgeable spectators exclaim.

[Wind-controlling Wolf Spirit] is a skill where the Wind Wolf Clan fully activates wind vortexes, weaving Wind Attribute Magic Power, anyone who touches the wolf spirit will be shredded by wind blades making up the wolf spirit.

Unfortunately, this skill causes wind vortex overload operation, leaving involved vortexes exhausted post-skill.

Hence, many Wind Wolf Clan members use [Wind-controlling Wolf Spirit] alongside other skills to craft their ultimate moves.

And now, Wind Snatching is using this skill casually.

Could he be wanting to end the match already?

Wind Snatching constantly tracks Yang Yu’s position with his gaze.

Confirming initial wind vortex recovery, Wind Snatching shoots out like a bullet, arriving in front of Yang Yu in a blink.

Claws on either hand grow sharper and extend, emitting white light, tearing towards Yang Yu.

”[Metal Hardening Defense]”

Metal on the shield flows like liquid, forming a smooth metallic surface, Yang Yu unexpectedly blocks Wind Snatching’s attack again.

Sadly, although Yang Yu blocked Wind Snatching’s attack, he didn’t completely defend it.

Countless green wind blades bombard Yang Yu’s shield from Wind Snatching’s repeated assaults, penetrating Yang Yu’s defense, causing him continuous harm.

Yang Yu retreats under Wind Snatching’s fierce offensive.

Suddenly, [Wind-controlling Wolf Spirit] on Wind Snatching wavers, appearing to detach from his body.

The audience rubs their eyes; they aren’t mistaken.

[Wind-controlling Wolf Spirit] separates from Wind Snatching, transforming into a teal giant wolf, lunging at Yang Yu engaged with Wind Snatching.

Yang Yu is already close to one corner of the arena; with attacks from both sides, if he continues to retreat as before, he’ll be forced out of the ring.

Yang Yu obviously knows this point; his body sinks, releasing an Illusion Shield, colliding with Wind Snatching like a bullet.

Wind Snatching halts his attack, moving the palm wind vortex to the back of his hand, ejecting Wind Attribute Magic Power, generating a strong thrust, blocking Yang Yu’s [Red Blood Path], causing him to stride in place.

”My strength is far from as simple as you think. Be proud; I acknowledge your excellence. Can you withstand this move of mine?”

”Who knows?”

The enormous [Wind-controlling Wolf Spirit] charges forward; Yang Yu releases [Climbing], instantly knocked away by Wind Snatching, ending up at the edge of the arena.

The lunging [Wind-controlling Wolf Spirit] misses, swaying, and swiftly returns to Wind Snatching’s body.

[Wind-controlling Wolf Spirit] relies on wind vortex support, existing for a short time post-detachment.

Having failed the double-sided strike, Wind Snatching isn’t discouraged; his assault is far from over.

Moving the unused wind vortex to the back, Wind Snatching bursts again with unimaginable speed, arriving before Yang Yu in a blink, kicking at Yang Yu.

Yang Yu is at the edge of the arena, a slight misstep and he will tumble out.

As long as Wind Snatching’s kick connects, Yang Yu will surely be knocked out of the ring.

Wind Snatching comes abruptly, at lightning speed; each time he launches such an attack, Yang Yu can only reluctantly parry at the edge of the arena; what move could Yang Yu make to evade being knocked out of the ring?

Numerous spectators widen their eyes; many silently believe Yang Yu is certain to lose.

However, against all expectations, Yang Yu avoids Wind Snatching’s kick technique.

Putting away sword and shield, Yang Yu throws a small flour sack toward Wind Snatching’s wind vortex, sharp wind blades instantly slice the flour sack.

Mounds of flour are blown up by the wind vortex, forming puffs of white dust clouds, enveloping Wind Snatching, blocking his vision.

Could this vision-stealing method be effective? Perhaps not; the Wind Wolf Clan are wind magic masters, such tricks might just end up self-defeating!

Sure enough, Wind Snatching’s sturdy thigh pierces through the white dust cloud, aiming a kick at Yang Yu’s head.

Seemingly unavoidable, Yang Yu tilts sideways, letting the thigh brush past his ear, [Wind-controlling Wolf Spirit]’s wind blades sever a few hairs, leaving a scratch on his right cheek.

Yang Yu, tilting sideways, plants one foot on the arena surface, sticking one foot to the outside edge of the arena, abruptly crouching, gripping the arena’s sharp edge with both hands like a curled-up chameleon, evading Wind Snatching’s deadly kick.

The audience is dumbstruck.

Such a maneuver? But how would he get up next? Dodging for a moment is one thing, but evading forever is another.

Just as the audience ponders this, Yang Yu moves both hands and feet in tandem, hilariously escaping along the edge like a chameleon!

Escaping to the middle of the long side of the arena, Yang Yu rolls and clambers back onto the arena.

Yang Yu barely regains his stance as Wind Snatching disperses the surrounding white flour dust with wind magic, attacking him once more.

Drawing his shield and sword, Yang Yu prepares to intercept, while also observing the flour surrounding each of Wind Snatching’s vortexes.
