Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

The whistle sounded, and Saike shook his brown fur all over, his massive hooves powering forward like a heavy truck.

Facing this thundering giant, Yang Yu first sheathed his sword, then his shield, and pulled out a red cloth, stretching it to the right, like a gallant bullfighter.

Seeing the red cloth being shaken around in Yang Yu’s hand, Saike instantly got angry.

Are you kidding me? Do you take me for a fool? Do you think I would head towards that piece of cloth and fall out of the arena? You’re such a big person there, how could I possibly miss?

The hooves roared violently, and with each step Saike took, the square platform beneath his feet cracked somewhat, scattering debris.

Yang Yu rapidly retreated, and in no time, he was backed up to the edge of the arena.

Any skill, as long as it hits, could send him flying out of the arena, losing his qualification.

The referee did not see a trace of fear in Yang Yu’s eyes.

The referee widened their eyes, momentarily anticipating how Yang Yu would turn this extremely disadvantageous situation around.

As Saike got closer, about to collide with Yang Yu’s body, Yang Yu maintained his composure and stood firm.

Just as the sharp horns were about to hit his body, Yang Yu accurately threw the red cloth at Saike’s face.

With his sight briefly obstructed, Saike did not stop, having already released a skill around him named ”Burst Brave Impact,” expanding his collision range.

Besides, Saike also released a ”Strong Energy Aura” beneath his feet, a skill that suppresses enemies within a size-doubling range, slowing them down and delaying the activation of displacement skills.

Even if it’s just a fraction of a second, that short time is enough for his massive figure to knock Yang Yu out of the arena.

Escaping seemed impossible.

However, when Saike pierced the cloth, he ended up lunging at thin air; Yang Yu was no longer in front of him, and the aura at his feet did not detect any trace of displacement skill activation.

Yang Yu before him had vanished into thin air!

Where on earth did that man go? Saike couldn’t comprehend as he turned to search for Yang Yu’s whereabouts.

Suddenly, someone kicked him hard on the rear.

With the Yak Man’s massive body, he couldn’t control himself as inertia from the previous charge hadn’t completely dissipated, and with a surprise kick to the butt, Saike fell off the platform like a mountain, raising a cloud of dust.

Yang Yu patted the dust off his right shoulder, winning effortlessly as if discarding trash.

The proud Saike never imagined that the match would take less than a minute from start to finish; he had no idea how Yang Yu achieved it.

Hovering in the air, the referee clearly noticed every move of Yang Yu, marveling at his skill.

When the horns came towards him, Yang Yu let his body fall backward off the platform.

The referee once thought Yang Yu intended to concede, only for Yang Yu’s feet to seemingly glue themselves to the side of the platform, completing a brilliant maneuver that decided the victory.

Throughout the process, Yang Yu didn’t hesitate in the slightest, his thoughts extremely clear, his actions flowing smoothly.

Falling off the platform results in direct defeat, with victory determined by whether the contestant touches the ground.

Clearly, Yang Yu did not touch the ground, and all his actions adhered to the rules without a flaw.

Moreover, Yang Yu’s kick alone demonstrated his strength.

Without sufficient power, kicking someone would feel like hitting a steel board, unable to knock out the massive Yak Man so effortlessly.

The referee no longer hesitated, disregarding the bewildered Yak Man, and decisively declared Yang Yu the winner.

The once arrogant Saike climbed up from the ground, helplessly rubbed his head, and wanted to chat with Yang Yu to understand how he was defeated.

However, Yang Yu ignored him and coolly left the Martial Arts Hall.

This is the Dragon God Conference, where anyone can face heavy consequences for underestimating opponents.

Outside the Martial Arts Hall, Yang Yu briefly recounted the match before quietly waiting for Bai Jin’s match to begin.

Now Bai Jin, with an Intelligence nearing Five Thousand.

For her, such a small match shouldn’t pose a problem as long as she performs normally.

Sure enough, Bai Jin shot a few Frost Ice Arrows, effortlessly blasting her opponent out, winning with ease and grace.

Once the first-round matches conclude, the second segment will be announced.

Each advancing contestant has ample time to rest and adjust their status.

With the first victory secured, Yang Yu immediately took his partners to a high-end restaurant for a good meal, patiently awaiting the next matches.

The first-round matches need three days to finish.

Before the second round begins, Yang Yu decided to revisit the Dwarven settlement.

Getting his mental state in order and preparing some rare materials, Yang Yu entered the Dwarven settlement.

Passing one clang-clang Blacksmith Shop after another, Yang Yu arrived at Brian Redbeard’s Blacksmith Shop.

Brian Redbeard’s Blacksmith Shop was already packed with people, blocking the entrance thoroughly.

This situation had continued for several days.

Many heard Brian Redbeard could once again wield a hammer, hoping to witness new Epic Equipment being forged, and gathered around, including some Forging Masters Yang Yu had seen before.

These Forging Masters anxiously watched the Blacksmith Shop, knowing if further problems arose, it wouldn’t be as easy to step out of the pit again.

A few Forging Masters wished to advise Brian Redbeard, but he simply closed the shop’s door to visitors.

Every Forging Master present waited.

Waited for Brian Redbeard to fail, drop his tools dejectedly, or succeed by forging new Epic Equipment.

Many Forging Masters secretly hoped to see Brian Redbeard fail miserably; then their ambitions kindled by this news would be extinguished.

Should he succeed again, they would not harbor any jealousy.

Knowing what lies ahead, yet having the Courage to transcend it, surpasses the majority of Dwarves; Brian Redbeard’s success is well-deserved.

Upon arriving at Brian Redbeard’s Blacksmith Shop, Yang Yu did not disturb him.

Instead, he found a nearby tavern, enjoying snacks while watching the Dwarves come and go at Brian Redbeard’s shop.

After a day with no news, Yang Yu and his companions decided to rest and return the next day.

Following days of intensive forging, a sweat-drenched Brian Redbeard completed the final crafting step on his Equipment.

A simple yet Sharp sword gleamed with unique brilliance in his hand.

Brian Redbeard sighed and shook his head,

”What a pity. Just a bit more, and it would be a success. Just a bit more.”

At some unknown time, the flame in Brian Redbeard’s eyes reignited.
