Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Picking up the newly forged sword, Brian Redbeard walked out of the Blacksmith Shop.

Countless dwarves immediately surrounded him, waiting for Brian Redbeard to announce his latest achievement.

Brian Redbeard stood at the doorway, surveying the surroundings.

Before leaving, his disciple had already informed him that Yang Yu had visited, but to avoid disturbing his crafting, did not greet him directly and instead waited outside.

The human was quite tall, and with Yang Yu’s team also having the large Silver Wolf, it didn’t take Brian Redbeard much time to spot Yang Yu standing amidst the crowd.

He took a step forward, walking straight toward Yang Yu, as the dwarves made way for him.

Brian Redbeard handed the forged sword in his hand to Yang Yu,

”Hold it well, this is a trial piece.

It’s just a bit short of what I had in mind.

But indeed, as you said, perhaps I shouldn’t continue to be stuck on those lights.”

Taking the sword, Yang Yu opened the panel to inspect it, and he saw a color he had never encountered before.

Lighter than purple, a bit deeper than pink.

This was an equipment between two qualities, just a step away from becoming a true Epic Equipment.

Compared to the Epic weapon [Rapid Wave Ripple Sword] obtained earlier, this sword had no random bonuses, purely amplifying Strength by 19%, and adding 280 physical damage.

In terms of versatility alone, it can easily outmatch most Epic Equipment with haphazard bonuses.

More importantly, this is a long sword, quite comfortable to use.

The previous [Rapid Wave Ripple Sword] was really too short, Yang Yu only used it a few times in total.

Catching a glimpse of Yang Yu’s satisfied expression, Brian Redbeard secretly breathed a sigh of relief,

”The two stones you gave me are extremely rare, with highly special properties, I need to study them further.

For now, just make do with this sword.

Creating good equipment takes time.

I can’t guarantee to give it to you before the main event of the Dragon God Conference, but you can check in after the preliminary rounds or before the official match starts.

Perhaps by that time, even if I can’t provide the two pieces of equipment you want, I will have crafted other Epic Equipment.

When I picked up the Forging Hammer again, I had already decided.

In the past,

there were indeed many things I didn’t consider seriously, but in the future, I will consider everything that must be considered, and then....

climb peaks no one else has ever attempted.

If you have any good materials in the future, as long as you’re not worried about me ruining them, you can come find me anytime.”

With that, Brian Redbeard turned and returned to the Blacksmith Shop, picking out a piece of material and, feeling the heat in his hands, started forging with a bam.

The dwarves present exchanged glances, many sharp-eyed Forging Masters could tell just how advanced Yang Yu’s weapon was.

They knew what this implied.

Many Forging Masters felt an itch in their hearts, especially seeing Brian Redbeard, once dejected, reigniting his passion for forging. They also wanted to give it another try, to see if they could touch heights they never had before.

”Seems like it will take some more time to get the desired weapon, let’s go!”

Storing away the sword, Yang Yu called his companions and left, deciding not to disturb Brian Redbeard in the near term, allowing him to forge in peace.

Leaving the dwarf settlement, Yang Yu started preparing diligently for the Dragon God Conference while gathering various supplies.

Time elapsed in these kinds of days, second by second.

As the official event of the Dragon God Conference approached, more and more people flooded into Makuder.

Some were tourists from afar, traveling thousands of miles just to see how exciting this once-in-a-decade Dragon God Conference would be, and who could defeat each formidable foe and eventually win the championship of the Dragon God Conference.

Some were local merchants active in the Dragon God Evaluation Country, meticulously preparing the goods they intended to sell a year before the Dragon God Conference started, hoping to earn a huge profit at this grand event.

Various intelligence dealers also became active, collecting information on the contestants most likely to emerge from the preliminary rounds.

All over the world, teenagers with formal competition invitations were estimating their time, embarking successively to the Dragon God Evaluation Country.

Some contestants had already set foot on the land of the Dragon God Evaluation Country.

On the southern coast of the Dragon God Evaluation Country, four sea-dwelling species crossed the ocean and landed on the shore.

Leading the group was a knight in striking heavy armor, her race was the [Sea God Race], a very noble sea-dwelling species, resembling humans in appearance, with glistening blue scales covering both sides of her cheeks, and ears like fish fins.

Behind her was a boy wearing a large yellow raincoat, his shadow-covered face partially obscured, a few tentacle-like appendages occasionally visible beneath the raincoat.

Following him was a man with skin smooth as light blue plastic film, with a small protrusion resembling a dolphin fin on his back.

The last person appeared at first to be a sturdy male mermaid, then transformed into a tall ponytailed girl, bouncing along to hold the hand of the Fish-dragon Clan man, leaning happily against his shoulder.

The Fish-dragon Clan man pursed his lips, turning his gaze aside.

Not far from these sea-dwelling species’ ”water outlet” was a small dock, where a cargo ship was anchored.

A girl with long straight black hair, wearing tight black clothing, walked down the ship’s deck, putting on a pure white fox-shaped mask.

A fair-faced girl in the ship’s cabin laughed as she bade farewell to the black-haired girl, then, from behind this girl, grew black wings, and she vanished completely into a black hole that suddenly appeared in the cabin.

Her master had new plans, she still had to clean up after her sisters’ actions.

Days passed by, each time a round of matches concluded, Yang Yu would routinely take up his fishing rod and bucket, quietly waiting for the announcement of the next round’s opponent.

Thanks to fishing, which could increase Luck, along the way, Yang Yu didn’t encounter many strong opponents and even had a bye once.

After eight hard-fought battles, Yang Yu and Bai Jin successfully progressed to the final round.

[Moderate Kekarlos] also unsurprisingly advanced to the final round.

Sitting atop a high rooftop, Kekarlos enjoyed sweet candy, awaiting the final round of matches.

However, Kekarlos showed not a hint of joy, for obtaining the Racial Essence of the giant dragon would be the cherry on top, but it wouldn’t matter if she didn’t get it, she had done her best.

More than the Racial Essence of the giant dragon, she now had some more important matters to attend to.

Suddenly, a faint light appeared behind Kekarlos, from a magnificent Teleportation Magic Array emerged a bard strumming a harp.

The bard appeared youthful, wearing a white headscarf that covered his eyes, gently plucking the strings to produce an extremely pleasant sound.
