The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 977: Chapter 977: Sherly Iversen is doomed!

She had experienced the lowest point in her life; to her, Nathalie Quinlan was more important than all the so-called relatives of the Ingram Family combined.

She had never taken someone like Sherly Iversen seriously, nor had she cared about Ibrahim Ingram...

It was time to put the Ingram Family in their place.

*

Outside Rivendell, Sherly Iversen was ’invited’ out in front of everyone.

Wearing a high-end evening gown that bared her shoulders, she stood outside like a fool, shivering from the cold.

Her face was paler than her exposed shoulders, filled with humiliation and embarrassment, devoid of any color, including that of her lips.

Today, she was dressed in custom-made attire, wearing an expensive set of jewelry around her neck, standing outside in her glitz and glam, drawing frequent glances from passersby.

Sherly Iversen felt as if she had been stripped of her clothes, desperately wishing for a crack in the ground to crawl into.

But even if she wasn’t the brightest, and was too full of herself, she knew that she had probably caused a major problem this time. She didn’t care about the looks she was receiving from around her and hurriedly made a phone call to her background support.

The first phone call didn’t go through.

She wasn’t in a hurry yet.

Earlier, when Silvania Ingram was on stage introducing Nathalie Quinlan, she heard it all and roughly guessed that Nathalie Quinlan was a partner of Pinecone Group.

Although she couldn’t comprehend how a teenage girl became an important partner of Pinecone Group, in her opinion, could any partnership be more impressive than blood relations?

Her own backers, including the president of Pinecone Group, were siblings.

If the other party used the partnership to humiliate her in public and kick her out, she wouldn’t be polite either, definitely filing a complaint!

Sherly Iversen’s face-losing incident today was huge, she felt a strong grievance, while she was cautious s of the people who just sat next to her and gave her a popular science lesson about the Yancey Family and Candice Yancey, she was not from this circle after all, and did not have a complete concept of how powerful the Yancey Family really was within Beijing’s elite circle.

She made a second phone call, and it went through, still on the line.

Sherly Iversen stood outside the Rivendell show like a fool, not knowing whether to stay or leave, suppressing her frustration, and then making a third phone call.

This time the call was finally not in session and got connected.

Her heart was pounding fast, she gripped her phone, already planning in her heart how to complain.

Once the phone was connected, she began with a pitiful word: ”I...”

The man on the other end was already furiously mad, scolding her loudly: ”You still have the face to call me, what did you do at Rivendell!”

Sherly Iversen’s heartbeat almost stopped, her voice extremely grievous: ”I didn’t do anything.”

”You’ve caused a huge mess for me, and you say you did nothing, I don’t have time to deal with you now, we’ll settle this later!”

The Ingram Family was like a sinking ship; only by repairing the relationship with Silvania Ingram could they enjoy a few more years in Beijing’s circle.

Judging by Silvania Ingram’s attitude when she called him just now, his mind was blank, not sparing any thought for Sherly Iversen.

”I can’t deal with you, you have to take care of yourself!”

”...” Sherly Iversen hadn’t had a chance to speak before the call was ended.

Her original full confidence deflated like a punctured ball, truly starting to panic.

Before Sherly Iversen could figure it out, her agent from the company called and after asking a few questions about the Rivendell show, told her very directly that the capital circle had decided to blackball her, and the company had decided to put her on temporary leave following an emergency meeting.

”Sherly, you better think about who you’ve offended. If there’s a chance, apologize properly, maybe you’ll have a chance to come back. Otherwise... you might as well say goodbye to the entertainment industry for the rest of your life.”

Upon hearing her agent’s words, Sherly Iversen’s mind buzzed, she clutched her phone, her legs gave out, and she slumped down, sitting on the cold ground.

Her eyes were dry, wanting to cry, but no tears would come.

Apologize?

Where could she go to apologize to that girl?

She was ’escorted’ out by two burly staff members and couldn’t even enter Rivendell...
