The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 953: Chapter 953: Who is the person that can’t reach even on tiptoes?

These families are all on good terms with Mr. Avalon, why have they all come to the Imperial Hotel? Ivy Wilmar couldn’t figure it out at the moment and asked him in a lowered voice, ”...Could it be Mr. Avalon’s birthday today?”

Previously, she hadn’t received any message about Mr. Avalon’s birthday, yet with so many people gathered at the Imperial Hotel, she couldn’t help but ponder the possibility.

”I don’t know.” Myles Sullivan was also uncertain about the situation. He was more pragmatic and only considered briefly before lifting his head to the two and saying, ”Mr. Avalon and the others are on the second floor. Since we’ve run into them, let’s go downstairs to greet them.”

His calculations were clear as he stated firmly to Ivy Wilmar and Ghania Quinlan, ”If Mr. Avalon and the others are not celebrating a birthday, we could then invite them to see if they would like to join us for a meal upstairs.”

Today is Ghania Quinlan’s mentorship celebration, if Mr. Avalon, Shawn Norton, and others are willing to ’have a meal,’ it would undoubtedly elevate Ghania Quinlan’s social status—a good thing!

After all, going downstairs to greet wouldn’t cost them anything, and Myles Sullivan, who had been immersed in his career for many years, naturally enjoyed doing such effortless and pleasing tasks.

Ghania Quinlan initially didn’t know who her uncle was talking about; once she realized, her eyes twinkled, remembering that Nathalie Quinlan had chosen the Chinese Medicine program.

Mr. Avalon...

Her lips curled up, her mood brightening.

Nathalie Quinlan couldn’t even reach such people on her tiptoes, yet here she was able to go down and greet them with Myles Sullivan and Ivy Wilmar, showing just how important having the right background is.

The Zachmann Family’s background isn’t bad, but it’s a pity that they don’t think highly of Nathalie Quinlan, and even if they did, compared to the Sullivan Family, the Zachmann Family still lacks some confidence!

Nathalie Quinlan received a phone call from Winston Sullivan around ten in the morning, reminding her of Mr. Avalon’s mentorship celebration arranged for her today, telling her to remember to go to the Imperial Hotel for the meal.

Last night, Nathalie Quinlan had barely slept all night because she was working on the design requested by SEVEN. She only finished the final version at eight a.m. and sent it off to Silvania Ingram.

After receiving the phone call at ten, she had gotten barely two hours of sleep before she had to get up, and to stay alert, she decided to take a cold shower and changed her clothes before leaving her room.

Downstairs, Alfred Garland was moving things around. When he saw her come down, he immediately greeted her, ”Ms. Quinlan, you’re up? What would you like for lunch? I can ask the auntie to prepare it.”

”No thanks, I have to go out.” She had taken a cold shower but was still not very alert, extremely drowsy, and squinting her eyes. Fortunately, Nathalie Quinlan wore a sweater, and she pulled up the hood slightly to cover her eyes. Still, the corners of her eyes betrayed her sleeplessness. Lifting her eyelids, she seemed not to see a familiar figure.

”Amadeus has something to attend to today.”

Hearing that she was going out, Alfred Garland was quite surprised since Nathalie Quinlan hadn’t gone out much since she arrived in Beijing. But he reacted quickly, setting aside what he was doing and considerately offered, ”Where does Ms. Quinlan need to go? Let me take you there.”

”The Imperial Hotel.” Nathalie Quinlan did not hide her destination, her words concise.

The Imperial Hotel? Alfred Garland felt just a tad strange, curious about what Nathalie Quinlan was doing at the Imperial Hotel, but he didn’t dwell on it and, without asking further, picked up the car keys and went ahead to drive there...

Winston Sullivan had already mentioned to her that today’s mentorship celebration was just a small gathering for a meal, and they wouldn’t invite too many people.

Nathalie Quinlan was not used to crowded places and if it was going to be like the last promotion celebration, she might not agree.

So she had no objections to Winston Sullivan’s plan for a small gathering for a meal.
