The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 974: Chapter 974: Nathalie, Keep Your Head Up, Your Vest Will Fall Off

Candice Yancey raised her eyebrows, still pondering who the other person was referring to, but she leaned back nonchalantly, treating it as a show and playfully joked with Nathalie Quinlan, ”This introduction, why does it sound like it’s about S? Could it be that S is here this time?”

”...” Nathalie Quinlan’s short hair just happened to fall, covering her brow bone. She pulled the brim of her hat down, not answering because she couldn’t continue the conversation.

”But this person S is quite mysterious, not many people in the design circle have seen him, I wonder where he’s sitting.” Candice Yancey lowered her voice and added, ”If he’s here, he should be sitting in the first row.”

The next second, a beam of light fell beside her.

”Please allow me to introduce a very important friend of SEVEN, Nathalie Quinlan!”

Candice Yancey, originally with an attitude of watching the fun, arms crossed, never expected the spotlight to shift right next to her. Her facial expression was stunned for a moment, it took her a while to respond: ”Nathalie?”

Had she heard it wrong?

Was the person Silvania Ingram cued really Nathalie Quinlan???

But the light had fallen right next to her, she hadn’t mistaken, there’s no way Pinecone Group’s background lighting technician could make a mistake too!

”You and SEVEN...”

Candice Yancey hadn’t finished speaking when Nathalie Quinlan raised her hand, her sleeve sliding down to reveal a stretch of pale wrist, as pristine as white jade, not waiting for Candice Yancey to ask, she simply stated, ”Previously played with stocks and made some investments.”

Candice Yancey withdrew her line of sight, her expression still quite complex, struggling to digest the news, her face was a knot of confusion: ”You bought shares in Pinecone Group?”

She had a moment just then almost thought Nathalie Quinlan was Pinecone Group’s chief designer S, nearly losing her composure, was about to stand up in front of everyone.

So it was that Nathalie had bought Pinecone Group’s stock.

Candice Yancey was still somewhat dazed.

She had met Silvania Ingram and also heard some early gossip in Beijing, Silvania Ingram was not immediately successful when she broke off from the Beijing-based Ingram family and ventured into the business world.

At the beginning, Pinecone Group was operating with great difficulty.

The Ingram family didn’t hold back in trying to sabotage Silvania Ingram from behind.

Many people, fearing the power of the Ingram family and adopting a mindset of avoiding trouble if possible, chose not to cooperate with Pinecone Group.

That period wasn’t easy for Silvania Ingram.

The rise of the Pinecone Group happened a few years ago.

She was in Beijing, but also managed a new energy company, they were all people from the business world, even if she and Silvania Ingram were not in the same industry, she had heard industry murmurs that Pinecone Group’s rise had ties to forces from the Illegal Zone.

Initially, Silvania Ingram started with the fashion apparel industry, yet Pinecone Group’s rise had a significant link to jewelry.

Especially diamonds from overseas Illegal Zone.

Large chunks of high-end raw materials.

No one knew where the first batch of raw gems that brought Pinecone Group its first bucket of gold came from, up to now, it remains a secret in the business circles.

Later, Silvania Ingram made the jaw-dropping decision to abandon the advantageous geographical position of Beijing and chose to relocate Pinecone Group’s headquarters to a third-tier city like McKinney...

Candice Yancey’s mind was somewhat muddled, feeling as if she had vaguely grasped something pivotal yet also thought her conclusion too absurd.

More absurd than Nathalie Quinlan being SEVEN’s chief designer S!

”Right.”

Up on the stage, Silvania Ingram continued to speak, Girl lowered her hat brim, relaxing her body and leaning back lazily on the chair back. The light fell on her, making her the focus of everyone, yet Nathalie seemed unconcerned about the grandeur of the event. She appeared as usual, calm and undisturbed, not even bothering to raise her head.

”I bought a little.”
