The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 975: Chapter 975: Mrs. Yancey, if you like, I’ll send you a few things another day

Candice Yancey noticed that she spoke with the same casualness as when she usually talked to herself, not different in the slightest. Her eyelids twitched, she pursed her red lips, and couldn’t help but say, ”The little bit you mentioned buying... could it be Initial Stocks from Pinecone Group?”

Stocks come in two types.

One type is Initial Stocks, which are pre-IPO and extremely important, typically only held by the company’s CEO and senior executives.

The other type is the public stocks sold after the company goes public, used by investors to trade. No matter how many you buy of these, they are only worth dividends based on the company’s profit and loss.

Since Silvania Ingram had formally introduced Nathalie Quinlan, the ’little bit’ of stock Nathalie mentioned holding definitely couldn’t be the latter kind!

Given Pinecone Group’s market cap of over a hundred billion, Nathalie’s ’little bit’ should rightly be called ’a little billion’.

The Yancey family is not short on money.

Candice herself grew up in the privileged Yancey family and, as the legitimate eldest daughter, would naturally not be surprised by ’a little billion’.

She was just unexpected to discover that Nathalie had Initial Stocks from Pinecone Group.

Nathalie is only 18 years old!

That’s just too abnormal!

Just like her nephew.

”Really, Initial Stocks?” Candice couldn’t control her facial expression, trying to play it cool, but she was too dumbfounded and taken aback; she couldn’t calm down.

Nathalie coolly pulled the brim of her hat, her beautiful black eyes narrowing as she looked at her and gave a low acknowledgment.

Candice: ”...”

Having received Nathalie’s affirmative answer, Candice went silent for a few seconds. After all, she was someone accustomed to the world and, after a moment of short shock, she leaned back, took a deep breath to compose herself, and then slowly said, ”That kid Sadam Vinson told me you were playing with stocks, said he even recommended a few promising stocks to you last time. He probably doesn’t know you have Pinecone Group’s Initial Stocks, does he?”

Nathalie had indeed received stock recommendations shared by Sadam and had looked them over. The performance of the stocks was good, and the prospects were decent. She had chosen two to invest in. Hearing Candice’s question, she made no attempt to hide it: ”Nope, he doesn’t know.”

She paused, then added, ”He’s never asked me.”

Likewise uninformed, Candice: ”...”

Candice sat up straight again and secretly resolved to ask more questions in the future before doing anything, to avoid misunderstandings.

Thinking this, she looked at Nathalie hesitantly and asked, ”The new release from S I mentioned to you earlier today...”

Her opinion was that S’s designs were quite popular among young people, and she herself was a fan of this designer.

She had finally gotten the chance when Pinecone Group brought SEVEN’s fashion show to Beijing, along with that genius designer’s new creations, and she had thought to buy one for Nathalie as a gift.

However, considering Nathalie’s close ties to Pinecone Group and the fact that she held Initial Stocks of the company, and recalling the previous incident with the Small Pill, Candice decided to ask an extra question.

She had barely spoken.

Nathalie’s pure black-and-white eyes met hers, naturally taking over the conversation: ”If Mrs. Yancey likes it, I’ll send you a few sometime.”

Candice: ”...”

S only released one or two new pieces at a time, never more than five designs in an entire series.

Only five in the whole world.

One can imagine how difficult they are to get.

She hadn’t even dared to think about getting several; before coming today, she thought it would be great just to buy one new piece from S.

But Nathalie offered to give her several right off the bat.
