The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 865: Chapter 865: Ghania Quinlan’s Humiliating Apology

At that time, all she thought was that Caryn Zachmann had used it, and there were plenty of small music bloggers Online who had used it too—Lighten Chaser never cared.

She just assumed it was fine for herself to use it as well.

She didn’t think deeply about it, or rather, subconsciously, she didn’t want to think too deeply.

Until this moment, Ghania Quinlan only felt as if she was facing a clear mirror, understanding all the things that previously didn’t make sense to her.

Why Shawn Norton chose Nathalie Quinlan as his apprentice, why Nathalie could play the Konghou, why Nathalie’s arrangements from years ago had a style similar to Lighten Chaser’s...

There was no why.

Because Nathalie Quinlan was Lighten Chaser!

Lighten Chaser was Nathalie Quinlan!

That’s why on Twitter, Lighten Chaser would share her new Moments using a familiar tone, asking her if not pretending to be high and mighty would kill her... Everything made sense now, but it was a Results she was unwilling to accept.

Nathalie Quinlan was like an insurmountable mountain, pressing down on her, leaving her unable to turn over!

The matter of Ghania Quinlan’s plagiarism in her arrangement had blown up.

The International Piano Association’s official website reacted quickly; after they got in touch with Ghania Quinlan, they immediately deleted that tweet.

The tweet was removed, but under the old tweets, there was still a wave of Scolding, demanding an explanation from the International Piano Association.

The issue had become too big, and even if Steven was a foreign piano master and not a local, such an incident could not be completely ignored; if not addressed, his reputation in the domestic scene would be ruined.

So, after a whole afternoon of public outrage, the International Piano Association updated a video on Twitter.

In it, Ghania Quinlan appeared, looking haggard as she stood up to Apologize, her eyes red as she admitted to using someone else’s work in her new arrangement.

She cried quite sorrowfully in the apology video, but as for how sincere she was, only she knew.

...

In the evening, Class A had a dinner party.

Waterfront Pavilion, hosted by Nathalie Quinlan.

Almost everyone from class was there, including Nancy Sullivan and Mr. Jones.

A whole Group gathered in the private dining room.

As soon as everyone arrived, they were mostly talking about the exam Results; Class A had done very well this time, thanks to the practice questions Nathalie prepared for them more than a month before the college entrance exams, which boosted the class’s average score by 40 points compared to the last mock exam.

It might not seem like a lot.

But that was the class average.

As an average score for a class, an increase of about 10 points was already shocking; Class A’s sudden bump of 40 points made history in McKinney No. 1 Middle School.

Jhovany Sullivan and Freddy Cagwin both did well, scoring over 650 points in the science subjects, a definite entry into First-tier University—apart from a few exceptionally famous ones, they could choose at will.

Not to mention Freddy Cagwin’s score, which was one of the highest in the province.

Seeing several of them arrive together, Nancy Sullivan’s usually stern and strict face showed a relieved Smile as she called them over to Sit down.

”Sit down quickly, has everyone arrived?”

Freddy glanced around the bustling private room, pulled out a chair, and sat down, saying, ”Nathalie isn’t here yet.”

Nancy checked and sure enough, despite the crowd in the private room, Nathalie hadn’t arrived yet.

Justin Wafford, seeing Freddy sit down next to him, rested his chin on his hand, his smile deep with meaning, ”Did you hear? Wenny Taylor messed up her exams.”

”Huh?” On the day the college entrance exam scores were released, Freddy spent the whole day answering phone Calls, all from admissions offices of various universities inquiring about his application intentions; he had no time to pay attention to anything else. Since Wenny Taylor had transferred out of their class before the exam, he hadn’t kept track of her, and now, recalling who she was after Justin brought her up suddenly, he asked, ”Wenny Taylor messed up her exams? How do you know her score, didn’t she transfer out?”
