The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 855: Chapter 855: You Must Apologize to Me!

”He’s basically saying Nathalie Quinlan’s joint exam results are fake.”

”Obtained through backdoor means.”

Zeus Tanzil tilted his head, his gaze growing increasingly sarcastic as he countered, ”Zayn Fisher, didn’t you know?”

When Zayn Fisher started the conversation, his first question was whether Zeus Tanzil had heard about Nathalie Quinlan scoring zero, but being counter questioned abruptly caused him to pause, unconsciously clenching his fingers, his heart tightened, ”Know what?”

”You don’t know yet you’ve been talking to me for so long.” Zeus Tanzil casually put down his water bottle, smiled, and looked at him with pity, ”The person you mentioned who bought the Water Army online and set the agenda, that’s your girlfriend.”

Zayn Fisher was so taken aback that he didn’t react immediately; he furrowed his brows. Even though the speaker was Zeus Tanzil, whom he didn’t want to offend, he still hardened his face and spoke up defensively for Ghania Quinlan, ”When did Ghania ever buy a Water Army or set the agenda online? I don’t know about this; she’s been busy composing music recently and hasn’t had time to go online!”

”Oh, you didn’t mention it, I almost forgot. She’s been busy composing? Are you sure she wrote it herself?”

”What do you mean?” Zayn Fisher got genuinely angry, threw a towel on the ground, his face stern, ”Mr. Tanzil, you can eat recklessly, but you shouldn’t talk recklessly.”

The roommates, seeing that the two were about to start arguing, quickly pulled Zayn Fisher aside, whispering for calm, ”Zayn, maybe say less, Zeus just has that kind of personality, he didn’t mean harm.”

”He didn’t mean harm so he can just slander my girlfriend?”

Zayn Fisher himself was also a second-generation rich, having grown up in a well-to-do family.

The Fisher family held a not insignificant standing in McKinney; however, upon arriving in Beijing, he realized how small McKinney really was. There were many families outside that could overshadow the Fisher family, and he had to keep his rich kid pride in check, acting almost like a lackey constantly around Zeus Tanzil.

He had always restrained his temper, but that didn’t mean he didn’t have one. This time, concerning Ghania Quinlan’s reputation, his anger was substantial, and he wasn’t inclined to back down.

He stepped up to Zeus Tanzil, his jaw tightly clenched, and said in a low voice, ”Zeus Tanzil, you apologize to me, or we no longer need to continue being friends...”

Zeus Tanzil raised his eyebrows, his temper rising as well, he chuckled mockingly, ”Why should I apologize to you? What, I need to apologize to be worthy of being your friend, Zayn Fisher? Then tell me, which word I said was wrong, that I need to apologize for?”

”You said Ghania bought a Water Army online, set the agenda.”

Zayn Fisher felt he was obstinate, harboring too much prejudice against Ghania, to the point of not admitting the accusation, ”And you said her composition wasn’t her own!”

”Heh.” Zeus Tanzil chuckled with unclear intent, instead lifting his chin in provocation, ”Then you just told me Nathalie Quinlan scored zero on her exam, aren’t you also supposed to apologize to me?”

Zayn Fisher furrowed his brows, his tone more severe, ”What I said is true!”

Zeus Tanzil sneered, scoffing dismissively.

The truth my ass!

As tensions flared between the two, someone gently tugged at Zayn Fisher’s arm, their expression showing sympathy, yet they still stood up and spoke the truth, ”Zayn Fisher, Nathalie didn’t score zero, the online results are out, it’s not zero, the Education Department came forward to clarify that the reason her score initially showed zero was because it hadn’t been entered yet...”

The person looked at Zayn Fisher’s stunned expression, reluctant to unveil the truth.
