The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 750: Chapter 750: So, This Lighten Chaser is Pretty Impressive_1

Nathalie Quinlan furrowed her brows, looking at her phone, and didn’t reply to the message immediately.

She couldn’t understand why Stephanie Tanzil would ask her to come up with the examination questions. Wasn’t Shawn Norton more suitable?

The next second, another message from Stephanie Tanzil came through.

[This assessment is mainly aimed at rookies, and you are the leader of the young people in this batch. It’s very fitting for you to set this subject. If Mr. Norton were to set the questions, it might be unfair to masters in other fields of music. After much consideration, we decided to choose a question-setter from among the outstanding new generation. I’ve consulted with Mr. Norton, and he also thinks that domestically, you are the most suitable to set the questions.]

Nathalie Quinlan had no interest in setting questions, but Stephanie Tanzil sent her several more messages, roughly expressing hope that she could do this favor.

Stephanie Tanzil’s messages were too frequent.

Nathalie Quinlan found it hard to refuse given her pressing insistence and, after thinking for a moment with narrowed eyes, she replied.

[Then it’s ’Reggae’.]

Quinlan Family.

Half an hour later, Ghania Quinlan received internal communications forwarded to her by Ivy Wilmar.

”Reggae? Why would they test on reggae? Isn’t reggae music always considered a non-mainstream genre? The final exam question of such a formal music conference is actually reggae...”

Ghania Quinlan bit her lip, feeling indescribably odd. She could never have imagined that the closing assessment topic of this music conference would be something as unconventional as reggae music.

Emilia Sullivan brought her a mug of milk, and seeing her on a phone call with Ivy Wilmar, she placed the mug on the table quietly and listened to her conversation with perked ears.

”Is this question set by Lighten Chaser?” Ghania’s eyes flickered with a hint of jealousy, but she felt less bitter about being surpassed by a faceless Lighten Chaser than by Nathalie Quinlan. So she said to Ivy Wilmar on the other end of the phone, ”I understand, Auntie. I’ll prepare well.”

After speaking, she chatted with Ivy Wilmar for a few more moments and hung up.

Emilia Sullivan waited until she had finished the call before tentatively asking, ”Ghania, what did your auntie say on the phone? There isn’t any change regarding the music conference, is there?”

Ghania Quinlan had been overshadowed by that bastard after getting into Tsinghua University, leaving her displeased. If there were any issues with this music conference, she would be enraged to death.

Fortunately, Ghania Quinlan didn’t bring her any bad news, putting away her phone and responding, ”No. There will be an assessment at the end of the music conference, followed by the apprenticing. My aunt called to tell me the subject of the assessment.”

”Oh, then I’m relieved,” Emilia Sullivan exhaled, recalling the name she had just heard, and said with confusion, ”I just heard you mention Lighten Chaser on the phone...”

Ghania Quinlan didn’t hide it from her.

”The subject of this assessment was set by Lighten Chaser. She’s quite popular online, with many fans, and she’s very mysterious, having made a name for herself. Originally, this music conference invited her to join, but she had something come up last minute and couldn’t make it. The organizers then invited her to set the topic for this assessment.”

Hearing this, Emilia Sullivan casually remarked, ”Well, this Lighten Chaser seems pretty impressive.”

Ghania Quinlan didn’t deny her words.

Emilia Sullivan shifted her attention elsewhere, bent down to pick up the mug, and offered it to her with concern, ”Don’t stress too much about this exam result. I see that Mr. Norton isn’t taking his student too seriously either; at least she doesn’t qualify to participate in this music conference.”

”Master Steven is no less than Mr. Norton. Just prepare well, and perform a bit better at this music conference, and your future will only be brighter than hers.”

Ghania Quinlan took the mug from her hands, drank a sip of milk with composure, her face blurred by the steam, yet her tone was calmly confident, ”Hmm.”
