The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 743: Chapter 743: Greatly Resembles the Style of Red Alliance’s Sun from Three Years Ago_1

With her personality, it would be strange if she didn’t go crazy with jealousy after seeing Ms. Quinlan complete in one day the programming that she couldn’t finish in three months.

Her targeting Ms. Quinlan afterwards also had something to do with this reason.

Alfred Garland looked at the girl who just made a sound, unscrewed the bottle cap, and took a sip of water, his eyes bright with admiration.

Honestly, he hadn’t expected Nathalie Quinlan to be so fierce, outshining Phoebe Hoffman by a long shot in programming skills, actually managing to solve such complex programming in just one day.

This skill... it reminded him of an organization that Amadeus and Mr. Vinson, Mr. Bonette, and the others would often talk about when they chatted—Red Alliance.

The hegemon among hackers.

It seemed to be the Red Alliance!

Wallace Radcliff privately mentioned to him yesterday that the security system Ms. Quinlan set up on the USB flash drive was very reminiscent of the style of SUN, the former leader of Red Alliance from three years ago.

He told him to have a good talk with Ms. Quinlan again, to stop studying Chinese Medicine and switch to computer science instead.

Who knows, she might become even more famous than Lincoln Hoffman in the future and could even successfully join Red Alliance.

Wasn’t the reason Lincoln Hoffman was celebrated as the top hacker in China precisely because he almost joined Red Alliance?

Alfred Garland sneaked several glances at her.

Nathalie Quinlan would find it hard not to notice, so she simply put down what she was holding and met his gaze, her dark pupils impossibly beautiful: ”What do you want to say, go on!”

When Nathalie asked him to speak, he suddenly felt too embarrassed to say it. Scratching the back of his head, he spoke sheepishly, ”Ms. Quinlan, have you... really decided you want to study Chinese Medicine? Actually, changing majors wouldn’t be a bad idea. With your results, as long as you speak up, Mr. Wafford probably wouldn’t object, right?”

While the computer science department of Tsinghua University might not be as good as Southern University’s, it’s still much better than other universities in the country.

If Nathalie Quinlan were willing to go there, Mr. Wafford would definitely agree.

Even if Mr. Wafford didn’t agree, there was still Amadeus to consider; if Ms. Quinlan said one word, Amadeus could pluck the stars from the sky, and he didn’t believe Amadeus would refuse to pull strings for Ms. Quinlan to change her major.

Even if Amadeus didn’t pull strings, Mr. Yancey’s lifelong friendship with Mr. Wafford would ensure a word from Mr. Yancey would smooth everything over, wouldn’t it?

”Huh? Why would I want to change my major?” Nathalie Quinlan looked at him in astonishment, not understanding why he suddenly brought this up.

The phone that was charging there lit up.

Nathalie Quinlan picked up the phone and looked down at it.

It was still messages from that certain someone.

They were sent quite frequently.

[Amadeus Yancey: I’m waiting for you at Master Cadmus’s place.]

Nathalie Quinlan raised her eyebrows, her black pupils shining clear and somewhat wild.

Her fingertip slid across the phone screen, wanting to reply to him, had she said she would go to do acupuncture on Master Cadmus today?

She remembered telling Brian Bonette it would be once every two days yesterday.

But with acupuncture, there’s no need to strictly schedule times, and Master Cadmus’s migraines were stubborn; more frequent acupuncture might even speed up his recovery.

It was just that she was lazy and wanted to catch up on some sleep in the morning, so she said once every two days.

Alfred Garland watched her looking down at her phone, her beautiful side profile bathed in the morning light, the sunshine casting a halo on her high bridge of the nose, as stunning as a painting.

He almost pulled out his phone to take a picture and send it to Amadeus.

But he didn’t have the guts and held back for now, saying, ”It’s nothing much. It’s just that Mr. Radcliff told me, he said the verification technology on the USB you gave him yesterday, is comparable to Phoebe Hoffman’s iris technology. Anyway, from what he said, it sounds awesome, and I was thinking maybe you should change your major to computer science...”

Nathalie Quinlan had just finished replying to a message on her phone.

Upon hearing his words, she lifted her head and casually put away her phone, her clear-cut black eyes looking at him, her voice slightly hoarse from just waking up: ”Oh, you’re talking about that.”
