The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 740: Chapter 740: Nobody Will Remember Who Was Once the Top Student of Tsinghua University_1

”Ghania had already explained the misunderstanding about the song plagiarism to him privately, and after he knew that most of the song was written by Ghania herself, he highly recognized Ghania’s talent in composition,”

Ivy Wilmar spoke eloquently, ”Master Steven, who holds a status internationally no lower than Mr. Norton, being a master in the piano field, is even more suitable for Ghania. Master Steven himself had said that Ghania has great talent. In the future, if there’s a chance, he will recommend Ghania to the Piano Association. You know that domestic Piano Associations are just average, but the status of overseas Piano Associations is very high. The connections one can make there are completely different from the domestic ones. If Ghania could get in, it would be like a fish leaping through the dragon gate, a complete transformation.”

Myles Sullivan finally cast his eyes upon her, and his expression wasn’t as uncomfortable as before. He paused, and as if remembering something, asked with concern, ”I heard that Nathalie has chosen Chinese Medicine, did you check if Mr. Avalon would come out of retirement?”

The least noticeable major at Tsinghua University is Chinese Medicine; it’s never really taken off over the years.

The top student choosing the worst major at Tsinghua University was also a subject of jokes.

But Myles Sullivan was very aware that if that master in the Chinese Medicine department decided to take on disciples, the weight of the major would be completely different.

Ivy Wilmar contemptuously said, ”You’re talking about Mr. Avalon? Pfft, what kind of person is Mr. Avalon, how could he just casually come out of retirement. That person is a master known even in Inderia, with a resounding reputation, and his situation is not like Mr. Norton’s, who simply plays music; it’s unlikely that he would casually take disciples.”

The Illegal Zone is subordinate to Inderia; the top circle in Beijing has heard of these two places.

A place everyone wants to reach, yet is unapproachable.

”That’s true,” Myles Sullivan thought that she might be right, and his expression relaxed, his shoulders easing down as he leaned back on the sofa.

Only then did Ivy Wilmar place her hand on his shoulder and pat it, continuing, ”So you see, without Mr. Avalon coming out of retirement, Chinese Medicine remains an insignificant major. Her going to Tsinghua University is just the same thing, her future prospects won’t be any better than Ghania’s. Since you’ve made your choice, stop overthinking. We should focus on nurturing Ghania. Ghania will sooner or later surpass her, and no one will remember a student who scored full marks at Tsinghua University—only Ghania’s name will be remembered!”

”...” Myles Sullivan lifted his eyelids, silently picked up his phone, and then flicked to the news photo, which was Tsinghua University’s score list.

Nathalie Quinlan’s name was prominently displayed on the top row.

NO.1 Nathalie Quinlan, Total Score 650. Chinese 100, Mathematics 100, English 100, Science/Arts Comprehensive 350.

This row of scores was strikingly conspicuous no matter how one looked at it.

Myles Sullivan silently sighed, then flicked into the text message screen.

On the screen, there were only the three text messages he had sent, which seemed to have disappeared into the sea without any reply.

He took a deep breath, not wanting to look any longer, he exited the text message screen and also deleted the news.

He said to Ivy Wilmar, ”Let’s hope so.”

He hoped Ghania would really fight for their pride, not letting him have invested in the wrong person.

Otherwise, he would deeply regret his decision today!

The next morning came early.

The Sun had just started to rise, it wasn’t even nine o’clock yet.

Nathalie was still asleep when she heard a ’bang bang’ knocking on the door.

She turned over, burying her head in the pillow and pulling up the covers, not wanting to get up.

’Bang bang bang’!

However, the knocking outside did not stop, and it seemed determined to wake her up.
