The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 716: Chapter 716: It Really Doesn’t Seem to Be an Iris Recognition System_1

Wallace Radcliff stared at the rainbow light appearing on the screen and starting to scan his face, he too was momentarily taken aback, suspecting his eyes were playing tricks on him.

This...

Wasn’t iris recognition Phoebe Hoffman’s most prized research outcome?

This technology was only in the hands of a few, how could the USB flash drive Ms. Quinlan gave him have iris recognition?

”Could it be a mistake?” He was not sure, but it certainly looked like Phoebe Hoffman’s iris verification system.

Phoebe Hoffman’s face color started to look ugly when she saw the rainbow light on the screen; she walked past several people from The Ninth Institute, reached out, and took Wallace Radcliff’s laptop: ”Let me see.”

What iris recognition, she didn’t believe it!

How could outsiders possibly master the technology of iris recognition.

Wallace Radcliff watched her take away the computer without trying to take it back; he too wanted to understand what was going on.

He just watched as Phoebe Hoffman took the laptop, placed the laptop on her leg, and her fingers rapidly hammered at the keyboard.

”Beep Beep!”

A long string of code continuously appeared on the computer.

The people from The Ninth Institute could understand what she was attempting.

Phoebe Hoffman was trying to disable the verification system.

However, instead of dissolving due to the code she entered, the laptop’s iris scan prompted a warning character.

Operation failed!

Phoebe Hoffman’s face turned increasingly dark, her lips pressed tightly together, stubbornly, she tried to enter the code to disable the verification system once more.

This time, she paid careful attention to ensure there were no errors in the code she was entering.

As she entered the final code, she even looked back to double-check before finally hitting the enter key.

Done!

The characters on the computer screen flickered rapidly, and everyone held their breath, thinking she would definitely succeed this time...

However,

”Beep Beep!” The laptop issued two warning beeps again.

Phoebe Hoffman failed in her operation once more!

Now, no one in the car spoke.

Seeing Phoebe Hoffman fail to disable the verification system Nathalie Quinlan had left on the USB flash drive twice in a row, Wallace Radcliff took back the laptop and said in a deep voice, ”Let me have a look. This might not be iris recognition...”

The rainbow light on the screen was still flashing, obviously still scanning.

If it wasn’t an iris recognition system, what was it?

Phoebe Hoffman pursed her lips tightly, her face color turning green, as she looked unwell.

Unable to crack the verification system herself, she could only watch with wide eyes as Wallace Radcliff operated it.

Wallace Radcliff specialized in software development and had no way of cracking systems; he did not, like Phoebe Hoffman, grab the laptop and enter a series of codes, attempting to break the system.

He could only start from the basics and first check what kind of system this was.

Unaware until he looked, the sight gave him a shock!

After checking for a while, Wallace Radcliff raised his head with a slight change in his face color and said to Phoebe Hoffman, ”Ms. Quinlan’s system seems to indeed not be an iris recognition system...”

Phoebe Hoffman had felt terribly suffocated from the beginning, and upon hearing what he said, she let out a cold laugh: ”If hers isn’t an iris system, then what is it? It’s obviously my iris system!”

She was unclear how Nathalie Quinlan had obtained the source code for the iris recognition system, but she recognized that the system installed on the USB flash drive was indeed iris recognition!

Only, Phoebe Hoffman couldn’t understand why she couldn’t disable the system just now.

She should have succeeded in uninstalling the system after entering the code to disable it... She couldn’t figure out what went wrong for the moment.

She then saw Wallace Radcliff, after hearing her speak, bury his head and tap a few keys again, his face stern, and he looked up seriously to tell her, ”Mr. Hoffman, what Ms. Quinlan has, truly isn’t an iris recognition system...”
