The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 730: Chapter 730: Mr. Norton Will Not Attend the Music Exchange Conference_1

At the mention of the music exchange, Ghania Quinlan’s listless eyes finally lit up as she looked towards him, ambition dancing in her gaze. She smiled and said in a low-key manner, ”I’m all prepared. My aunt said she’s contacted Master Steven for me; Master Steven quite likes my piano pieces and has already agreed to take me on as his student.”

”You mean Master Steven?” Zayn Fisher couldn’t hide the surprise on his face.

Ghania lowered her head shyly, ”Yes, the Master Steven from the International Piano Association. He knows my aunt, and he has attended my birthday banquet before. Since then, I’ve been in touch with Master Steven privately, and often write emails to ask him questions about the piano. This time, when my aunt brought up my situation, I didn’t expect him to agree without refusing, consenting to take me as a disciple.”

Steven’s accomplishments in the piano world are no less than Shawn Norton’s in the Konghou field, and he is also one of the internationally renowned Hall of Fame musicians.

And he’s also the vice president of the International Piano Association.

With such a title to boast, if Ghania truly becomes a student under Steven, it wouldn’t be any less prestigious than Nathalie becoming Shawn Norton’s student.

At least in terms of reputation, the two of them would seem equally matched!

Missing out on Shawn Norton, securing Steven would be the best possible outcome for Ghania.

Zayn Fisher was genuinely happy for her, his handsome face unable to conceal his joy as he said, ”Congratulations, Ghania. Master Steven is no less skilled than Mr. Norton, and he is a Hall of Fame master in the field of piano, which is your strongest suit. Following him, you will also have the opportunity to break into the international stage. Mr. Norton also has a formidable reputation internationally, but the Konghou, after all, is not an instrument that can be showcased, while internationally, more emphasis is placed on the violin, the piano, and the like.”

So, all things considered, Nathalie being with Shawn Norton and Ghania being with Master Steven—if we set aside the matter of connections—Ghania actually has a slight edge over Nathalie.

The turbid air Zayn had felt pressing on his chest for the past half-month seemed to finally dissipate somewhat, and his gaze softened when he looked at Ghania.

He had always known Ghania was excellent, initially attracted to her for the sparks of brilliance she possessed, and as it turned out, he wasn’t wrong about her.

Ghania hadn’t disappointed him.

As for Nathalie...

When Zayn Fisher thought about her taking half a month off, not knowing where she had gone, he couldn’t help but frown, unwilling to ponder too deeply.

”Thank you.” Ghania felt his gentle gaze upon her, and with a smile, she thought of something else and furrowed her brows, speaking softly, ”...by the way, Zayn, I heard that Mr. Norton won’t be attending the music exchange this time.”

”Zeus Tanzil said Mr. Norton would attend, right?” Zayn Fisher, not being from this circle, knew little about the music exchange Ghania was talking about. He only knew that this music exchange was high-profile, with Zeus Tanzil’s aunt inviting quite a few social celebrities to attend, along with domestic and international music masters.

In terms of domestic music masters, if Shawn Norton is the second, no one could claim to be the first.

With masters like Steven arriving internationally, and Shawn Norton suddenly backing out?

He felt it was rather capricious.

But then he remembered Zeus once mentioning Shawn Norton’s reckless youth, and thought that, given the master’s character, it was very possible he could do such a thing.

He pursed his lips, his eyes turning stern as an image emerged in his mind.

Wild and bandit-like!

Someone capable of doing such a thing.

He started to understand why Shawn Norton had chosen Nathalie as his student; it likely had to do with more than simply her playing the Konghou, but also with her character.

Mr. Norton’s temperament didn’t mesh with Ghania’s obedient nature.
