Chapter 807: Chapter 239: Progress of the Synchronous Accelerator Core

Upon hearing Bai Quan’s news, Chen Ming immediately asked, ”Are the two colonies ready on Lou Wei’s side?”

Bai Quan shook his head slightly and said, ”There’s no definite news yet, but in terms of time, it’s almost there.”

”Like I just mentioned, it’s been almost half a month since the end of that simulation. The final verification should be within the next few days, you might need to go out by then.”

”Anyway, all my preparations are complete, it depends now on how fast the guys over there are.”

”By the way, have you sorted out the lost research data and such? Remember to bring it along when you go over, or send it to the people responsible for inspection when you arrive.”

Chen Ming was somewhat puzzled as to why he needed to bring his research data during the verification of his Spiritual Energy, and questioned, ”I’ve prepared everything, but isn’t it not yet twenty-four days? Why the rush?”

Bai Quan explained, ”Due to some changes, Lou Wei’s side says you can’t spend all twenty-four days inside the simulation doing this; it’s impossible to give you that much time for research.”

”After all, you did quite a lot in the simulation, there’s truly nothing to say about that.”

”So the review team did a final deliberation and decided to calculate your time starting from the day the simulation ended, until the day Lou Wei’s side presents the two colonies for your testing.”

”Since the data hasn’t been restored, there’s no way to confirm exactly how many days you were active.”

”This also indirectly pressures Lou Wei not to procrastinate, otherwise it would end up giving you more time for experiments.”

”There’s also a minimum period, which is twelve days, a safeguard so that Lou Wei doesn’t present the colonies the next day and put you in a bind.”

”So this outcome is somewhat advantageous for you.”

Chen Ming thought carefully about Bai Quan’s words, and indeed, there didn’t seem to be any issues.

He picked up the terminal beside him, glanced at the schedule, and said, ”Okay then, let me know in advance, I’ll arrange the time.”

Bai Quan nodded, turned around while organizing today’s lesson plan on Chen Ming’s computer, and asked him, ”By the way, how is the status of the Synchronous Accelerator Core I gave you earlier? Any issues? Do you need me to get more equipment for you?”

”No issues, the progress is fairly okay, equipment isn’t needed for now, but if you have it, I don’t mind.”

Chen Ming smiled and said, ”Anyway, I’ve understood the general usage, just need to finalize the summary and finish writing the thesis. If you want to listen, I can explain it to you now.”

Bai Quan immediately stopped his hand on the computer, raised his head, and said to Chen Ming, ”Tell me, I’m quite interested.”

Chen Ming pondered briefly about how to explain it, then said, ”This Synchronous Accelerator Core is a device for manufacturing nanorobots, and its internal Spiritual Energy structure is designed to produce nanorobots.”

”What’s special about it is that it can adapt to installed industrial facilities.”

”Simply put, after installation, all nanorobots it manufactures are deployed into the production line.”

”These nanorobots synchronize with any industrial production equipment, and after about a day’s synchronization time, the nanorobots begin assisting production, speeding up overall production efficiency.”

Bai Quan could already understand the effects of the Synchronous Accelerator Core just from Chen Ming’s description, but he had one more question, ”How is that achieved?”

”Firstly, the Synchronous Accelerator Core can control the nanorobots.”

”Secondly, inside the core is a device similar to an analytical device, which uses the controlled nanorobots to analyze the condition of the production equipment where the core is installed.”

”By using data from that civilization within the core as a basis, it performs lightweight transformations on the entire production facility.”

”The capabilities of these nanorobots are somewhat similar to my own abilities; they can alter the structure of production lines to some extent and optimize the logic of the production process.”

”But it requires a foundation, unlike me who can create things out of thin air.”

”That’s roughly how it works.”

Chen Ming paused briefly and continued, ”Of course, there are limitations to this device.”

”The Synchronous Accelerator Core can only be used in factories where all industrial production steps are completed within one facility; it doesn’t work if multiple factories need to cooperate in production.”

Bai Quan asked again, ”Why is that?”

”Because of nanorobot residues.”

”After synchronization by the Synchronous Accelerator Core and acceleration of production efficiency, the production line in the factory or industrial facility will be full of nanorobots.”

”Although often invisible to the naked eye, the nanorobots are indeed there, and even the products will certainly have many of them.”

”It doesn’t affect usage, but it does affect the subsequent processing in other factories.”

”Uh... Can’t say it affects it directly, mainly because the nanorobots manufactured by different Synchronous Accelerator Cores interfere with each other.”

”Unless you have the ability to directly remove nanorobot residues, otherwise, the residual nanorobots produced by different cores will conflict, and if there’s a substantial amount, they will all accumulate in the subsequent processing factory, affecting the quality of secondary processing.”

”So either one factory completes the product, or among multiple factories only one is equipped with a Synchronous Accelerator Core.”
