Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

First, let’s not mention the manpower issue; the open space quickly became crowded with metal liquid and people controlled by it.

But in reality, more members of the Left-trace faction were being sent here by Chen Ming’s Spiritual Energy.

After communicating with the heads of those departments, Chen Ming decided to send people near the Stardust Level landing site.

Since those department heads had already notified their people to bring more spacecraft and manpower.

Coincidentally, there’s a vast open area here that can be used for docking additional ships.

Time passed second by second.

When the metal liquid had swept all around the colony, capturing everyone with clear affiliations to Zuo Jing.

The total number reached over sixty thousand, equivalent to one out of every two or three people in the colony believing in Zuo Jing.

The numbers were exaggerated to the extreme.

The government indeed spends a lot of money every year to support these Zuo Jing believers.

And this is only those with clear evidence of belief in Zuo Jing; there may be even more without explicit proof.

Therefore, interrogations are still needed to confirm who might suspect of believing in Zuo Jing through social networks.

But this is not Chen Ming’s concern.

After completing the sweep of the residential area, he took a short break and immediately started the transformation of the industrial area.

This is what he really came to do today.

Spiritual Energy was activated once again.

The metal liquid covering the residential area around the industrial zone rolled back towards the industrial zone like a tsunami engulfing an isolated island.

Chen Ming heard some surprised exclamations.

Not sure if it was due to the metal liquid tsunami or the fact that it was about to pass overhead, or just sheer astonishment at seeing Spiritual Energy.

Anyway, he didn’t care.

As long as he slightly controlled the metal liquid, it would not accidentally injure anyone.

Besides, anyone here is either part of the Left-trace faction, civilians under government surveillance, or government and military personnel.

No matter the reason, nothing would happen.

And what happened in the colony’s industrial zone next was pretty much the same as the simulation.

The metal liquid covered abandoned industrial facilities, seeping into them, making them instantly appear brand new.

This scene was spreading from the outskirts gradually towards the inner circle.

However, unlike the simulation in some respects.

When the metal liquid extended to warehouses under the Earth Core Melting Furnace Power Tower in the innermost circle, it continued to spread upwards to the Earth Core Melting Furnace Power Tower controlled by Chen Ming.

In the simulation, Chen Ming did not repair the Earth Core Melting Furnace Power Tower.

Because it operated without any issues in the simulation.

Back then, Chen Ming couldn’t accurately estimate the amount of Spiritual Power needed to repair such a massive structure deep into the mantle and core.

However, as he gained knowledge about the Earth Core Melting Furnace Power Tower in the simulation, he understood its condition and confirmed that the calculated residual Spiritual Power from his previous simulations was sufficient for repairs.

Especially since the real Earth Core Melting Furnace Power Tower had suffered damage, leaving irreparable defects, it couldn’t function normally without repairs.

Furthermore, Chen Ming discovered bombs installed by Left-trace members inside seemingly operational sections of the Earth Core Melting Furnace Power Tower.

Presumably waiting for the day to come and destroy the place entirely.

Actually, Chen Ming’s actions today already fulfilled the conditions sufficient for Left-trace to detonate the bombs.

Especially when some bombs planted by Left-trace exploded in the residential area just now, the Earth Core Melting Furnace Power Tower should have exploded as well.

Fortunately, to avoid trouble, Chen Ming controlled all the industrial buildings in advance, instantly clearing all bombs.

The residential area was too large and lacked the mechanical structure like the industrial area, so Chen Ming could only disarm them using metal liquid, unable to completely resolve all bombs in time, leaving some exposed by Left-trace members.

Nonetheless, the residential area’s damage isn’t important.

The power tower being safe is what matters.

But because of the Left-trace reasons, he now needs to repair the Earth Core Melting Furnace Power Tower thoroughly.

Though lacking hands-on experience, Chen Ming was somewhat worried, yet as the metal liquid gradually penetrated from the Earth Core Melting Furnace Power Tower’s surface interaction point, spreading throughout the tower.

Chen Ming’s slightly tense heart was completely relaxed.

Successfully integrating large amounts of metal liquid with the power tower, restoring it to its original brand new appearance, capable of full operation once again.

The humming of the core furnace engine at the base of the Earth Core Melting Furnace Power Tower began to resonate, a heat wave spreading around.

Restarting at full power initially causes some heat dissipation.

However, as the power tower functioned normally, the heat wave dissipated, and the environmental temperature returned to normal levels.

And the smoke that should have appeared around the tower was entirely packed and collected by waste gas recovery devices Chen Ming repaired.
