Chapter 126: Chapter 126: Hitch a Ride in the Evening

Chapter 126 Catching a Ride at Night

Just as he was about to take out his phone from his pocket and dial 110, Lin Zifeng dashed forward in a swift move, snatched the phone from the woman’s hand, and hurried to explain, ”Miss, you’ve misunderstood me. I just saw a molester trying to take advantage of you, and I tried to stop him, but then things just...” Lin Zifeng explained immediately after taking the phone.

”You shameless bastard! Give me back my phone, or I’ll scream!” Despite the bus being crowded, everyone was just watching the drama unfold and no one stepped forward to help. Although she was beautiful and sexy, in this day and age, acts of heroism aren’t as common as they are in movies. Who would go out of their way to be a Lei Feng?

Even Lei Feng kept a diary of his good deeds; how else would people know about them?

Moreover, how many people nowadays follow Lei Feng’s example?

”Listen to me, it’s not what you think!” Lin Zifeng hurried to explain, but the woman just wouldn’t listen.

In her heart, she had already damned Lin Zifeng’s once shining image to the eighteenth level of Hell, no longer daring to believe him!

Lin Zifeng was stunned. Seeing that explanations were futile, he threw the phone back to her. Before the molester could get too far, he kicked open a bus window and leapt out.

Today, if he didn’t catch the molester, his reputation would be ruined. Lin Zifeng sprinted off the bus, hot on the heels of the man who had groped someone on the bus.

Just now, he had been mistakenly thought to be a pervert, a misunderstanding he had to set straight. Besides, it annoyed Lin Zifeng immensely that someone still dared to molest another in the civilized nation of Huaxia.

All the way, Lin Zifeng chased him for several streets.

Of course! Along the way, quite a few tourists noticed his unusual behavior. Some didn’t even know what had happened, but each passed by indifferently without stopping the molester.

Lin Zifeng couldn’t be bothered to yell for help; he could handle this small matter himself.

”Damn! To molest someone right in front of me! You really are courting death!” Lin Zifeng leaped, jumping two meters high, astonishing the passersby.

But then, the molester suddenly ran into the street! Lin Zifeng’s eyes flashed with sharpness, noticing that the guy really knew how to flee.

Thus, one fled in front while the other chased behind.

The molester running ahead was almost in tears, as the guy behind him clung on like a persistent maggot, impossible to shake off, making him sweat profusely.

Lin Zifeng then blocked the middle of the road, racing wildly on the broad and dangerous road as cars flowed around him like raging sea waters, shooting past him one after another.

”Buzz~~!” Just then, a Honda car came rushing towards him. Lin Zifeng, who was in the middle of the road, was less than two meters away from the Honda, and its speed was extremely fast, scaring the driver into a cold sweat, fearing that a life might be lost!

But Lin Zifeng’s lips slightly curled up into a smile, kicking into the air, and he leaped, soaring two to three meters high!

He slid right over the top of the Honda.

After landing, he knelt on one knee, slowly lifting his icy gaze.

Shit! Didn’t have many skills, but was indeed excellent at running away! Wait till I catch you, and I’ll see if I don’t break your legs.

Seeing that the surroundings were all continuous traffic, it was indeed difficult to catch the molester for the moment.

In the bustling city, with roads like dragons and a massive flow of people, tourists, sightseers, and countless beautiful women in trendy clothes milling around the streets, brands and pedestrians flowed like water.

The molester quickly wove through the crowd.

Lin Zifeng had already locked his eyes on him.

Looking at the cars blocking the way in front and feeling helpless, it seemed he had to do something extraordinary.

As the fleeing molester occasionally looked back,

he thought, ”What the hell is this guy? He’s been chasing me through several streets. Damn it, I’m exhausted. What a nosy Parker.”

He promptly took out his phone and made a call.

But not long after, he just froze, because he saw the ”pervert” madly running on top of the speeding cars!

As if playing a game.

Such a freak!

After dropping that remark, the molester continued to sprint forward.

Lin Zifeng, forced into a corner, had no choice but to recreate a scene from a TV show, jumping onto a speeding car and then from that car to another, ceaselessly running across the speeding vehicles, just like a scene from an American blockbuster.

This immediately drew the attention of many bystanders.

One foreign lady was instantly stunned! This woman, while shopping with friends, turned around and saw Lin Zifeng racing from one car roof to another, like something out of a Hollywood movie.

”Oh my god!” she exclaimed, covering her mouth with one hand, her eyes widened in surprise, as large as frogs.

All along the street, the crowd watched Lin Zifeng’s thrilling act.

Amidst the flying traffic, Lin Zifeng agile like a spry monkey, now jumping onto one car, now another luxury car. The level of danger was absolutely hair-raising. A single misstep could mean tumbling under the cars, a scene too horrifying to even imagine.
