Chapter 114: Chapter 114 Sit with Your Brother-in-Law

Chapter 114: Sit Down, Brother-in-Law

Su Yueying still wore a charming smile as she said, ”Are you afraid that I’ll trick you? Hehe, handsome, don’t worry, I’ll give you a fair price.”

But Lin Zifeng still refused to turn around, thinking to himself: What’s with this woman! Why is she still going on and on?

”No ride! No ride!”

Lin Zifeng was really frustrated. Early in the morning, of all the hundreds of roads in the vast Zhonghai City, why did he have to run into her again? The last incident involving hitting someone else’s behind hadn’t even been resolved yet, and here he was, encountering her again? If he turned around now, this woman would definitely recognize him, and who knows what kind of prank would happen then.

He didn’t want to deal with endless troubles again. His woman was trouble enough already; did he really need to get entangled with another?

However, the more Lin Zifeng behaved this way, the more puzzled Su Yueying became. Could this young man be sick? Or was he troubled by something?

Seeing Lin Zifeng’s strange tone and his body turned away, the meddlesome Su Yueying felt compelled to help. After all, she was a child who had come from the countryside. Although her family conditions weren’t great, she was fond of helping others. Whenever she saw someone in trouble, she was always ready to lend a hand. This also made her the exceptional female taxi driver at the rental company.

Su Yueying thought Lin Zifeng might be troubled by something, so she opened the car door and stepped out, wearing a pair of white canvas shoes that cost fifty yuan from the small rural market.

Her figure was tall and gorgeous. Although not dressed as luxuriously as those rich kids, she exuded a unique temperament that gave people a very relaxed, sunny, and optimistic feel.

She wore a simple white tight-fitting T-shirt that snugly outlined her xx, paired with a pair of light blue skinny xx jeans that were somewhat faded but crisp. The simplicity of her attire, combined with her tall figure, featured a striking red belt tied around the waistband of her pants, with a T-shirt that reached her waist, meticulously carving out her slender waist and even revealing her sexy navel.

Her hair was tied back into a neat and spirited ponytail, and her fair and pretty face, which if she came from a noble family and dressed up a bit, would absolutely qualify her as a stunning beauty capable of causing a lot of trouble!

”Are you, are you alright? Do you need me to take you to the hospital to check?”

With blinking beautiful eyes, Su Yueying slowly moved forward, somewhat scared.

Fearing that she had really bumped into a sick fellow today, but driven by curiosity and compassion, Su Yueying still mustered up her courage.

It seemed that even if she wanted to avoid him today, it would probably be unavoidable. Well, never mind! No more hiding! Better to face it.

Lin Zifeng hardened his heart since she had come over; he wasn’t afraid. What was the worst that could happen? They could just face off.

He then grinned, a cigarette dangling from his lips, and chuckled, ”Beauty, are you looking for me for something?”

”Hiss!”

When Lin Zifeng turned around with that familiar grin, Su Yueying was stunned!

She gasped sharply in surprise!

It took her quite a while to recover.

”Is... is it you?”

The usually healthy-faced Su Yueying’s pretty, fair face suddenly began to turn green, as various complex emotions surged into her heart. Remembering this guy, Su Yueying had hardly been able to eat or sleep well these past few days, even sometimes thinking about this jerk while driving to work!

The first time she met him, at the North Gate of Tianyu Group, he actually wanted to take a taxi just for a 500 meters ride to the East Gate! Was he truly too rich and had nowhere else to spend his money?

And then, when paying the fare, he even had the nerve to smack her butt!

This was absolutely unforgivable! She had never been harassed like this by another man before. And yet, today she had run into this huge weirdo again!

Instantly, Su Yueying was unsure whether she was furious or angry, but Lin Zifeng had whisked that detestable face forward in no time. Had he not dodged quickly, Su Yueying might have really slapped him right then and there.

”Hehe, beauty, long time no see. How’s business been lately? Have you missed me these days?”

Lin Zifeng, with a cigarette dangling from his lips, had a face as thick as a city wall.

He even dared to smile at her! Did she know him?

Looking at that face, which made her itch to get revenge and gnash her teeth in hatred, Su Yueying really wanted to grab her shoe and smack him with it. But reason told her not to do it—if she hit him today, who knows if she would end up being trapped by him!

Moreover, there were surveillance cameras on this busy street, and with so many pedestrians around, she couldn’t afford to act on her hate.

Helplessly, since she couldn’t hit him, cursing at him wouldn’t work either, seeing his thick-skinned face that presumably wouldn’t feel aggrieved by insults; she decided to swallow her anger and pretend she had never seen this person.

Under the fury, Su Yueying’s full bosom heaved like the undulating flames, visible through her T-shirt, making Lin Zifeng feel its warmth.

”Miss your uncle!”

This familiar catchphrase hadn’t lost its flavor, and Su Yueying huffily turned and ran into the car, paying him no mind because dealing with a scoundrel who liked to ’pat’ people on the back was simply not worth her temper.

But just as Su Yueying sashayed her rounded hips toward the car, Lin Zifeng was even quicker, opening the taxi’s rear door unceremoniously and hopping in with a relaxed air, cigarette still in mouth.

”What are you doing?”

Su Yueying was startled!

She thought Lin Zifeng was up to his old tricks again.

Instinctively, her right hand reached under the seat in the driver’s cabin, gripping a slender, long steel pipe. She was ready to strike without hesitation at any slight movement from Lin Zifeng because last time it was her soft-heartedness that had made her suffer at his hands.

”I’m not doing anything! I’m just taking a ride.”

Lin Zifeng said nonchalantly, with an innocent, well-behaved expression on his face as if he couldn’t be more harmless.

”Taking a ride? I’m off today, not taking any passengers. Please get out of the car now.”

Su Yueying’s eyes were somewhat icy as she deliberately put on a fierce demeanor, knowing that with blatantly bold guys like him, she had to appear tough or else they truly wouldn’t fear her. Once someone discovered your weakness, you were bound to be at a disadvantage.

”Hehe, I say, beauty, just a moment ago you were insistently begging me to get in the car, weren’t you? Why are you refusing passengers now? Your service attitude really isn’t up to scratch.”

Lin Zifeng said with a playful smile.

”Did I, did I say that? When did I ask you to get in the car, did you mishear?

Su Yueying was somewhat at a loss for words. Nevertheless, she staunchly denied it, deciding to stick it out with this guy today to see who had more endurance. If it came down to it, she’d spend the whole morning without carrying any passengers just to kick him out.

I haven’t even settled the score with you for last time, and you think you can ride in my car? Hmph, no way.

”Er... I say, beauty, that’s not right of you to say. Just now, it was clearly you who insisted on me getting in the car and even got out to pull me in personally. Why have your words changed now, daring to say but not to admit? Alas! Women these days really say one thing and mean another. They simply can’t be trusted.”

With that, Lin Zifeng shook his head.
