After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 421: Chapter 424: A World of Two People [7]

By the side, Yu Tong walked over with a smile, handing a towel to Luo Xiaoqian.

”Thank you!”

Wiping the sweat from her forehead with the towel, Luo Xiaoqian slowly walked over to the coach and communicated her reflections in English.

This time’s training schedule consisted of two hours of dance in the morning and two hours of vocal training in the afternoon.

Both of her teachers were very reputable in the industry, with many top stars seeking their guidance, especially the dance teacher who was exceptional. He had not only choreographed for MJ but also often designed dances for major stars like Beyoncé.

Their wages were truly calculated by the minute.

Luo Xiaoqian was well aware that such opportunities were hard to come by, and that the company had paid a handsome commission for her, so she treasured it greatly.

Since it was her rest time, she would not waste a single minute.

”You’ve got the step of ’opening the body,’ and now what’s left is integrating with the music...”

The African American instructor explained earnestly in English, having a very good impression of this diligent and eager-to-learn Chinese girl. Initially, when he saw her arrive with several assistants, he was a bit worried she might act like some spoilt young stars, but after interacting with her, Luo Xiaoqian’s efforts and humility had already won the instructor’s favor.

An assistant stepped forward to remind him that time was up.

”No problem!” the African American instructor didn’t stop but continued demonstrating a dance step to practice footwork to Luo Xiaoqian, showing her four or five times until she had memorized it completely. Only then did he stop with satisfaction, ”Very good, I believe that you will become an outstanding dancer.”

”Thank you, for the extra time, I will have my company compensate you for it!”

The atmosphere here was different from that in China, where favor is often sought through personal relationships, here, work was meant to be compensated.

”No need!” The instructor in black laughed and waved his hand, ”You’re teaching me Chinese without charging a fee, aren’t you? That’s it for today. See you tomorrow, Sissi (nickname for Princess Qianqian)!”

Luo Xiaoqian didn’t have an English name, and because she occasionally heard Yu Tong discussing how she was referred to as Princess Qianqian, the African American instructor also began to call her Sissi.

”See you tomorrow!” Luo Xiaoqian smiled and waved to him.

As the instructor left with the assistant, she took a sip of water and continued to practice in the middle of the room with the music on.

”It’s almost noon, rest for a while, shall we go out to eat?” Yu Tong approached her.

”You guys go ahead and just bring back something for me to eat,” Luo Xiaoqian said while practicing.

”Xiao Qian!” Yu Tong stepped forward, holding her arm, ”I know you don’t want to waste the company’s money, but you’re working too hard. If your nutrition can’t keep up, your body won’t be able to take it. As your agent, I command you to take a shower, have a good meal with us, then rest for a while at the hotel and later go to the vocal class in the afternoon. If you don’t obey, I’ll tell the teacher to cancel tomorrow’s dance class for a day!”

”Sneaky, how could you come up with such a threat?!” Luo Xiaoqian laughed as she took the clothes handed to her, ”Alright, alright, I’ll be obedient, okay?!”

”It’s not me who’s sneaky; don’t blame it on me,” Yu Tong said with a smile.

”Not you?” Luo Xiaoqian turned to look at Gao Jie and Lin Ye standing in the distance, ”Could it be...”
