After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 373: Chapter 374: If Not Love, What Is It?

With Lu Hao, she thought her chaotic first love was love.

However, she had never yearned for someone as intensely as she did for Leng Zimo, to the point where her heart palpitated. Lu Hao never made her feel the least bit secure, but Leng Zimo was different. Whenever she thought of him, she felt that nothing in this world was too much to handle; he seemed to be invincible.

Yearning for him as soon as they were apart was a feeling she had only experienced with Leng Zimo.

Braving the rain to see him out of worry, if that concern wasn’t love, then what was it?!

When she saw him, the feeling of her heart finally settling down, if that wasn’t love, then what was it?!

Barely separated and already missing him uncontrollably, feeling her heart race when she thought of him, if that wasn’t love, then what was it?!

...

She gasped for breath and spoke incoherently, but Leng Zimo didn’t understand her.

”Don’t rush, take it slowly. What happened, why are you breathing like that?!”

Bending over and holding her arm, he spoke gently.

”I ran up the stairs from the first floor... I... I just wanted to say...” Luo Xiaoqian relaxed her arms slightly, smiling as she looked into his eyes, she spoke deliberately, ”Leng, Zimo, I, love, you!”

She said, love!

His hands were still covered in flour, and Leng Zimo had been purposely avoiding contact with her hands. Upon hearing those six words, he suddenly gripped her shoulders tightly.

”Say it again!”

”Leng Zimo, I love you!”

”Again!”

”Leng Zimo, I love you!”

”Your voice is too soft, I can’t hear you!”

”Haha...” She laughed out loud and then pounced on him, hugging him and shouting in his ear, ”Leng Zimo, I love you, I love you, I love you...”

Her voice echoed in his ears, almost vibrating to the point of pain, but his heart overflowed with an unprecedented sense of happiness.

Embracing her waist, lifting her clear off the ground, Leng Zimo didn’t say another word, just held her tightly, listening to her repeatedly declare her love for him.

She repeated it over and over next to his ear until her tired voice grew softer and softer, only able to hug his neck and whisper softly.

Under the light, their two bodies had already merged into one shadow, inseparable and indistinguishable.

Ding dong!

Until, in the hallway, the sound of the video doorbell rang out.

”Someone is here!” Luo Xiaoqian whispered.

”I heard.” Leng Zimo’s arms tightened even more before he finally put her down, ”I’ll go see who it is.”

He walked towards the hallway, but his hand still held hers, and Luo Xiaoqian could only follow him.

On the screen, it was Xiao Ding.

Leng Zimo pressed the intercom button, and Xiao Ding’s voice immediately came through.

”President Leng, this is Xiao Ding. Miss Luo left in such a hurry that she forgot her suitcase. Should I help bring it up?!”

Luo Xiaoqian saw the blue suitcase next to him at a glance and immediately showed a look of extreme embarrassment on her face. Caught up in wanting to see him and tell him those words, she had completely forgotten about her suitcase.

”Just leave it in the trunk.” Leng Zimo, one step ahead, ordered, ”Tomorrow, remember to bring it to the office and give it to me.”

”Alright, President Leng, Miss Luo, goodbye!” Xiao Ding replied eagerly, turning to leave with the suitcase.

”So embarrassing!” Luo Xiaoqian murmured to herself, hanging her head and sticking out her tongue in chagrin.

Just as her voice fell, a loud thud came from the kitchen.

”Not good!”

Leng Zimo exclaimed in a low voice and turned to rush toward the kitchen.
